Jann get half of all votes from televoting. He was first. She was 3th there (get almost 9x less votes than he)But Jury gave him 4th place. Jury and televoting was 50/50. So she won. They made idiot from us…

Performance was really bad. My ears are bleeding because of wrong notes. Looks like she doesn't sing on daily basis
I literally screamed when they announced her winning. They had my top 2 contestants in top 3 and out of all of em, SHE, won. Also im pretty sure ive heard this song in Radio ealier this year so this was seriously unfair promotion she got ealier.

Solo this is not the choice of viewers, it is the choice of government television, although Jann with the song Gladiator received 18,000 votes from viewers, and Blanka with Solo only 6,000 votes. It wasn't a fair choice.

As an American who will get vote for the first time for Eurovision (because voting is open to us now), Poland with Jann was guaranteed Top 10 Placement... with this blatant nepotistic selection, they will not qualify. Blanka is a bootleg Ariana Grande and quite frankly coming from the land of Ariana Grande, I'd rather listen to her and her talent than a basic version of her with no vocal talent. Poland really took themselves out of the running just because the Jury members had ties to this performer. It's disgraceful. We just gotta make Jann a millionaire and stream the heck outta his music.

For me, Jann should definitely win. The song is literally a piece of art. It's got something intriguing so you can't stop listening to it. But also I understand why Blanka won. We have to be aware that Poland is mostly an elderly society so the jury and national television chose the "safer" option. I think they're not ready for that type of music yet. Personally, I'm very disappointed with the verdict. I'm not saying that Blanka's song is bad but I just don't believe that she would qualify for the finals, what Jann would definitely do.

As Poles, we are dissatisfied because Jann i Gladiator was the favorite of the audience. It was felt everywhere, especially during his performance. This is not the first time that the jury and the TVP government station manipulate the results. For us, the worst thing is that Blanka is friends with the son of the jury president. In addition, Augustin Egurola, the second member of the jury, is Blanka's choreographer. It's obvious these two wanted the girl to win. So it is not an impartial and fair vote. In addition, the music label Blanka works with is associated with the government tvp station responsible for Eurovision in our country. It should also be added that our current government is very conservative, even homophobic. Jann, with his performance, style and charisma, could resemble the lgbt community and that's why they didn't want to choose him. How does this relate to the slogan "United by music?". Hypocrisy. the jury changed the rules of voting a few days before the preselection. Jann was definitely the best choice today, but the juries decided to be more timid and radio fiendly.
I don't think he would be the best option. Sometimes he was out of tune as well and his performance was too chaotic. In my opinion, Dominik Dudek should represent Poland. His vocal skills and performance was much better.

Well, I dont know anybody who said to me "Yeah, Blanka has great song for Eurovision!", I know lots of people who said to me "We lost our chance to be TOP in Eurovision or even won it". Sadly... My heart just broke into pieces. Jann should won the preselections. And he did! People chose him! But JURY took him chance to win it by picking Blanka as their WINNER. And yes, for such songs as Blanka made we say "CO TO ZA GÓWNO".

It's not people's choice! We like this song, but only on the radio! Poles went crazy about Jann and his Gladiator and voted for him! The jury of several people brazenly disregarded the people and chose themselves! How can that be?! Jann won the people's vote and the jury didn't care! The bookies predicted Jann in 6th place, and now we have no chance. Shame TVP1 Eurowizja TVP !

Of course I voted for Jann. Like half of Poland. Literally, because he alone won more than half of the votes in the voting - almost 19,000 out of 35,000 text messages belonged to him. I think TVP wanted to show their tolerance and let someone like Jann into the competition, but they didn't expect people to love him so much. So they got scared and 4 days before the concert they changed the rules of voting so that the jurors had the deciding vote. And you gave him 7 points, while 12 went to Blanka. And so Jann couldn't win the whole thing, although his lead with the viewers was overwhelming. There are other flavors as well. Reportedly, one of the jurors warned the manager that Jann's outfit was "disgusting" and it was not proper for a man to reveal his belly button. The president of the jury described him as "demonic". The jury also included the choreographer Blanka, who reportedly placed Janna in the last place on his card. In addition, the president of the jury said after the competition that the jurors' cards were collected only after the results were given to her on the handset. Overall - one big scam. Oh, and one more thing. We listen to songs like "Solo" - at parties, in the car and over a beer on vacation (we have the sea and beaches in Poland). But on ESC we didn't want it and we don't listen to it at home. So, Europe - we apologize for TVP.

It´s obviously the same problem in Poland as here in Germany... Most important fact is "playable in radio chanels", so in Germany also mostly win the most boring song... but this Song is not only boring and 1000000 times heard before, she can´t sing live , only studio with 100 background voices. What a pity for rally good Jann, he was special and predestinated for Top 10 ,at least, I think Blanka will leave Liverpool after semi🤷♀

Honestly I'm pleased to have discovered Blanka and Jann . I enjoyed blanka on Eurovision night and it's going on my summer bbq party playlist because it's catchy and fun - but I'm so confused it's like a spanishy beachy song - it's not polands eurovision entry to win. Eurovision does need some dance numbers they make the night better and her performance on the night was better than this . But omg Jann is cool, I'm actually excited about Jann - I checked his other songs and I hope he evolves more and more as an artist and makes it over to the UK. I think if they'd chosen Jann then poland may have placed in the top 3-5 but good for Poland both of the songs are good for diffrerent reasons.

My w Polsce nie chcemy tej piosenki, chcemy pioseke Janna Gladiator. Wyniki zostały oszukane. Po za tym Blanka śpiewa nieczysto, fałszuje momentami mimo iż ma bardzo prostą piosenke do zaśpiewania. Proszę zróbcie coś aby Blanka nie pojechała :-(
Jann też miał problem z czystością w części dźwięków. Tak naprawdę żadna z piosenek nie była zaśpiewana czysto, co jest smutne. Najlepiej pokazała się Sara James, która niestety nie może reprezentować Polski na Eurowizji.

Po 2, Blanka falszuje na zywo, autotune w wersji studyjnej ratowal utwor, dzis na zywo wypadla wokalnie FATALNIE. Dla przykladu Dominik Dudek wypadl na zywo wokalnie swietnie, nie bylo falszow.
Po 3- 4 dni przed preselekcjami tvp celowo zmienilo zasady glosowania, bo wiedzieli ze u telewidzow Jann ma absolutne zwyciestwo. W internecie w rankingach w reakcjach wszedzie mial najwiecej wsparcia. Musieli to zmienic, wiec Jury celowo dalo mu nizsze noty, Blanka dostala max. Ta zmiana tvp spowodowala, ze mogli zrobic z wynikami telewidzow wszystko.
U telewidzow w sms wygral Jann; dostal 12 pkt. Oznacza to gdyby nie celowa zmiana tvp, dzis wygralby Jann. Specjalnie to zrobili i sie z tym nie ukrywaja, przed samymi preselekcjami gdy wiedzieli kto jest faworytem.
Podsumowujac, za granica piosenka uwazana jest za nudna, radiowke, z plaskim glosem, nic ani ciekawego. Zadnych szans nawet na top10.

Love is apparently deaf also XD. Sure the song is catchy, but how can he not mention how bad her vocals are, they are not existant btw. She looks pretty and that is all she has going for her. Dude, ur whipped, don't try to excuse her. You have to train to perform, nobody said it's easy, people work hard to prove their talent and if you miss notes because you dance while singing, that's on you. There are plenty of artists there who put their blood and tears so their performance would be spottless.
The choreography for Blanka was prepared by one of the judge's dance school so I'm not sure that it was a very fair voting. Also this song is "inspired" (copied) from solo by Clean Bandit. That's just my opinion but Jann with Gladiator is a whole another level

Awful! There is not even point in sending her.
We had a similar problem in Germany last year, just without the anti lgbtq bullshit going on. Electric Callboy (a well known German band) wanted to compete in the National Final and made it public. The NDR send them a rejection stating they weren't "radio friendly" enough. People got mad and many wanted NDR to hand away the right to our Eurovision participation to someone else, among many other ideas. We got last place last year (like we always do), so this year, they changed so any genre could compete and now we have a public voted Dark Rock song which we can finally be proud of instead of samey radio music.
I just think it is much harder to get your way across when it isn't only a station that is involved but also politics. Which is very sad.

Polacy życzą tej piosence zdobycie 1 miejsca, ale od końca. Blanka nie potrafi śpiewać i wygrała nieuczciwie. Polska publiczność jej nie popiera. Naszym prawdziwym zwycięzcą jest Jann. Skorumpowane TVPiS i jury, a zwłaszcza Edyta Górniak nie mają wstydu!!!!
Jak juror (Egurrola) może układać choreografię dla Blanki, a jednocześnie być bezstronny i tę Blankę oceniać jako juror? Polska za takie bezprawne i nieuczciwe praktyki, powinna być z Eurowizji wykluczona. Dlaczego tak się nie dzieje?

The vote was rigged. Facts:
1) Blanka is friends with the son of Edyta Górniak who was head of the jury.
2) Her dancers are from the dance studio of yet another juror (Agustin Egurolla).
3) She’s been heavily promoted and already performed in TVP, e.g. at the New Year’s Eve broadcast with the same song.
4) Although Jann and Alicja were clearly the favourites, the jury strategically put them in 4th and 5th places to make sure that who the jury picked won.
5) The rules on how the winner is picked were changed a couple of days before the broadcast. In past years, the winner was picked based solely on the televote but this year they decided to do it 50/50 jury’s vote and televote. And they even added a disclaimer that in case of a tie, the jury’s vote breaks it.
6) Probably most damning piece of info: at 3pm TVP posted that Blanka won and proceeded to quickly delete the post. The winner was officially announced around 6:30pm. There are screenshots.
It’s the homophobic nepotistic TVPiS that has spoken yet again, not Poland.

Śmieszy też wizja że Edzia specjalnie nie przepuściła Janna bo się bała że przestanie być tą która była najbliższa zwycięstwa w Polsce xD z Blanką to zajmiemy w najlepszym wypadku 40 miejsce, jak na 37 miejsc to i tak dobry wynik na tego gniota 🔥

Well... let me just say this: Germany is also a country of great musicians of the past. We had Johann Sebastian Bach (the elder and the younger), we had Mozart and Beethoven. We had Mendelson and Richard Strauss. Heck, we even had THE ONE AND ONLY Hans Zimmer (except he moved to the US to get famous with Hollywood, not surprisingly).
And yet, we were THIS CLOSE to sending someone like Ikke Hüftgold to the ESC! Because there is a certain type of people who LIKE that music and they are dang loud (the type of music that you hear at Octoberfest, Ballermann at Mallorca and at every Carnival Party once the parents have successfully gotten rid of their kids at grandparents etc). So believe me, the greater music and musicians a country can produce, the harder it can fail in the same area.

idk bro if you actually hear her sing in that chorus bc her voice is covered by more voices but even in that nice looking chorus she cant hit all the notes clean like that is not how singing should look like. Also she cant hit any low notes and she goes like in some sort of whisper to cover it up painfully. Last time i watched eurovision was 6y ago and Michał Szpak actually was a great singer there as a Polish artist. In conclusion tho song is nice but the singer is just autotune trash.
P.S. if you get tired after like what 1 min performance you just dont perform or dont dance. Ppl train this she just didnt put enough effort into practice. Also tho her dance is designed to be minimalistic she really doesnt do that much of a dance.
I will add tho that after hearing this and Gladiator and german performance i come in to conclusion that eurovision is no longer about the vocal performace and its more about the show.
