You know you've made it when you have a £1m yacht as a tender for your bigger yacht. I'm just glad I can watch Nick's wonderful, free content!
The main cabin glazing makes it feel like - a very well appointed - bus shelter !
I'm sure everything is high quality but it doesn't seem like a lot of boat for 1.1 million.
Doesn’t matter as it is just a tender for super yachts you know. Only plebes concern themselves with a measly million….
Great review as always, but shocking value for money - I'm sure people who buy these don't worry about such trivial details :)
Did you mean shocking lack of value? It's a nice boat, but there's not a lot of it. Not for that price anyway.
I just came to say the same thing, you can get a whole load more boat for that kind of money elsewhere. I was half expecting him to say it did 100 knots at the end to justify that kind of outlay.
Awesome, love that your getting into these smaller yachts. It’s so cool how they design these things compacted into a smaller hull. Love your reviews and I think I’m gonna love this boat!
The open looks amazing and I think has more second cabin space
Thanks'
Nice to see that Fjord is still alive. I had a Fjord 30 Weekender in the early 80s, when they still was making them in Norway.
They were a nice boat!
Good yacht. I love all the windows and the versatility of the cockpit and high/low platform.
1:55 - I laughed when you said it was a "warm day". Where I live in northern Ontario, Canada, this morning it was -35C (felt like -45C with wind chill factor). So for me, at this time of the year, "warm" means -15C! Below -10C is positively balmy. LOL.
We need a Midnight Express centre console review and sea trial. Pop over to Miami and say hello, I’m sure they will be most welcoming.
Hi Nick. Enormous windows for plenty natural light. 2 decent cabins and separate shower. Great walkthrough video tour thanks 😊
That's a beautiful boat, superb finish. That hull shape seems to be all the rage at the moment.
This is the first boat I’ve ever seen on your channel where I’ve thought it’s been disappointing, especially for the price tag. Lots of boats you’ve shown have been less expensive and seemed much better, for some reason this one just seems very underwhelming.
Agreed - nice looking boat but couldn’t justify the price tag (if I had €1.1m, that is)
On the other hand, compare it to the center consoles like Yellowfin. Less amenities for an even higher price.
Boat manufacturing is ripe for innovative manufacturing processes that would reduce the costs to those of motorhomes.
indeed little options for lot of money
Seriously, a Galeon 680 fly is 'only' 400k more and it's like 3 times as much boat.
@@flacjacket I don’t think it’s that new. Second hand maybe. But not for 1.5M and certainly not if spec’d to a decent level.
Another lovely design with a decent engine set up. Lovely
That is so cool, some awesome design features on that, I like that a lot. Great Choice Nick
Love this boat nick so much light and glass etc.And all seems very well put together and thought out
It's a very good-looking boat but it seems to be better used as a tender for super yachts. The whole main deck is a giant green house so in summer it would be steaming hot even you turn on the air-con.
Guess how I knew that? I've driven a Tesla in mid summer once...
I also enjoy the smaller boats. They have their specific design challenges that are met in a myriad of interesting ways...
Very clever use of space in these smaller yachts, it's astonishing how open they feel below deck despite their size
I love this boat even more than one ten times it’s size! The finishes are beautiful. Full bath with separate shower. Keep showing these ingenious smaller yachts.
And thank you Nick for this very intresting boat surrounded with glas like a conservatory I like this idea also the open bedroom and bathroom very nice a great show from Nick again
Glad you enjoyed it
One of the best laid out boats I have seen. High/low-platform, galley "aft", good view around etc. Amazing.
Great concept on the greenhouse look. And they idea of just having one bed great for a weekend for two. Thank you Nick. Stay safe out there.
Great video as always. Regarding the yacht itself, if I had €1.1M to spend this wouldn’t make the shortlist I’m afraid, just didn’t feel good value for money? Maybe I’m wrong as I’m no expert.
exactly what I thought.
This would make a nice tender/runabout for a mega yacht. Great, now not only do I need multi-millions for a large enough mega yacht that has a tender garage that this will fit in but I'm also going to need a spare €1.1 Million+ for this boat. You're driving me into the poor house Nick. 🙂
At First I thought it was an oversized Axopar, but then below decks made it. Lovely use of space and what looked like a decent size heads
Lovely to see this boat and a different design objective ... less a floating caravan, more the beginning of an exciting experience as it could be if this was tendering.
I always love when these boats stand out visually. I can easily tell this one apart from many others. That being said a Lazzara 92 will always be my dream.
Great boat, simple layout all you need. 👍🏻
Wow! I love that anchor locker nick, how ingenious and inspirational its fantastic along with the square fenders and "flush" fitting cleats! Another educational and interesting tour nick, I'm impressed with this fjord 44!
Glad you like it
Yes!😄 ,,Boatability" definitely goes on the Bingo card AND in my vocabulary. Thanks Nick🙌
Great looking boat, the below deck accommodations are fantastic! Really like the open feeling all the widows give this boat. As always Nick another great walk through and thanks for sharing.
Our pleasure!
Great boat! just as you said, they didn't overload the owners cabin. Loved it all!
Really smart little boat 👍
Great looking boat! It certainly has interesting design features but I'm not sure if it would be the right one for a value conscious boater! Great tour as always with some interesting terminology! Boatability! is that a new one? Take care...
Nick, “Boat and Boatability”
should be the name of your spare channel :)
I could definitely see this as a superyacht tender, it seems like it would be a great time out on the water aboard this yacht. Thanks Nick brilliant tour as always!
Un j'aime avec un grand J. Heureusement vos vidéos me soulagent. Bonne continuation
Really liked thoses fenders and the hinded anchor system.
Such a elegant boat. I love all the glass surround. I prefer that to the other one which was all open. I would be happy on board that. thanks for bringing this one to use Nick.
I think half the price of this boat is the glass!
In all seriousness, this is probably one of my most favorite weekenders. The feeling of openness on the main deck and the amazing bedroom area suits me perfect!
love your videos, I wish sometimes you would talk about price, not that I'm in the market for a boat (even worked the industry for a few years) but I seem to lack the ability do determine value for money even now, eg I can appreciate the price differentials with most cars but not boats. This boat to me looks amazing, but not 2 million Euros. (Ferrari class? lol)
Stunning, but wow that must get hot in summer. Tint and aircon for the win obviously.
Love the socks!
Really love the color on the exterior, and I like the name "Baloo", it reminds me of the jungle book, and I started thinking Hey, put a bearskin rug in honor of the character, but then I realized how sad that would be for Mowgli to see his best friend being used as a doormat 😥😏🤣, I'm weird because I'm blonde, that's my excuse, have a great day Aquaholic
Nice tour , Nick. Very luxurious but…it did rather have the feel of the popemobile!
Well nice. More than a weekender for a couple.
I love it and the cockpit steering wheel its in the middly
Ill take it !!
That is an incredibly well thought-out boat. I love how clean it looks on the inside, and how almost futuristic the exterior looks! Had never heard of Fjord, but I'm glad you showed us around! Thanks!
Brilliant as usual, thanks.
I know most boats are choice rather than necessity, but this is very opulent for a couples weekender. But why not, it’s amazing!
The design is really intriguing... The only thing I would leave out is the hatch beeper.
Been looking forward to seeing fjord on here
Boy Nick, this would be a great little boat to zip up and down the Columbia river out here in the pacific northwest of the US.. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching it! 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC Thanks to you my friend for sharing your passion..
Fabulous boat - and needs to be at that price!
Cracking boat for the size, love it 👍
It is absolutely amazing to see how boats of this size have evolved and just how much the builders can get into them and out of their designs. Beautiful boat and another great tour! Cheers and Happy New Year!
That is a lovely boat! I think it would be cool to have infill cushions for the high-low table in the saloon that could convert to a bed to sleep an extra couple.
A very nice smaller boat Nick thanks for showing us around.
Really like the main cabin space perfect for a couple looks like lots of room for two.
Nice size head and shower too
The extra sleeping would be fine for young children but not great as they get older.
Very clever making that little extra sleeping area at back...even though it's for kids I'd probably test myself to see whether a adult sleeps comfortable...very attractive looking boat from outside...another great video Nick 😀👌
Everything looks great and neat 👌
Cracking well thought out boat .
I knew it! these are made for super yaht tendahs! so funny that I cant even afford the dingy for a yaht… thanks Nick! wicked nice one
I really would like to see the new Sargo 45 Explorer.
As ever, Nice Nick.
Lovely Yacht !!!!!
Very interesting boat, quite different look than most yachts. I like it a lot.
As always, thanks for the tour!
(sorry, no jokes this time) :)
Very nice looking boat. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
That is a sweet boat for even just a couple i think your right using the second bedroom as a storage locker would be much better.
You could have more spare Whiskey & gin reserves.
this boat even looks good in winter
'Boatability' I like it and as well as a good description of the boat it wouldn't be a half-bad name for a boat review channel..
That must be a SB3 candidate, looks an awesome boat!
Great video Nick.
A surprisingly elegant and beautiful, but also special boat.
Superb looking Yacht, great ideas, a hell of a lot of money for what is a two person boat. This is form over function dialled up to 11
If I had an extra 1.1 lying around still not sold on this one. Just my thoughts. Thanks Nick for the great tours!
Thanks Nick, as always a great tour. But there'd be a lot of boats I'd prefer as a tender!
Fjord 41xl is the most exciting model in the current range.
This is a gorgeous boat!!!!
Nicely designed but you would need a very slim child to fit in that upper berth! Love the airy feel with all that glass but I doubt it would be practical in the Med. Great tour as always Nick.
Great tour, great looking boat 🛥
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful 😍
Liked this far more than i would have guessed. A bit pretty for my taste but, well laid out just the same.
Minter thanks for the vid 👍
Always love your videos mate cheers!
Much appreciated!
I wish I could A-Fjord one of those! 😂
Great review as always! For €1.1 million I am 1.1 million percent sure this is not the boat for me. Not really sure the target audience for this one? It simply confuses me. Much smarter boats for that price.
Always amazes me what they can do with 'smaller boats' My nephew drives a 42' boat for fishing and air asked if it had an overnight cabin or bathroom or what, or was it just like a center console and he told me that there weren't any boats that size that had cabins or bathrooms. So I sent him a few links to your channel to show him that they do make boats actually smaller than his with cabins and bathrooms and since he only needs to run 2 lines out the back of his boat, it's not like he needs a huge area in the back for fishing equipment. He needs 2 downriggers and an electric winch or davit crane. But if he had a cabin cruiser, he could stay out and fish longer instead of coming back into port every night, or sleeping out on the deck in a sleeping bag.
Nice looking boat
Thanks Nick! I feel they took inspiration from the Pardo 43. I would love to watch you explore their new models! Thanks for the lovely videos!!!
You're very welcome! :)
I like the layout of this boat
All that glass makes a lot of sense for a year-round boat on the Baltic Sea.
Another lovely boat and a brilliant video 🛳🛥⛵️🚤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
A few new 'party tricks' on this one. The design is 'clean' and contemporary. I've never felt the three-across helm seating was practical and the table seating is unlovely on the ends, even if it does serve a purpose. The front cabin is very fine! Used as a tender for a crewed ship, it would be a 'recruiting tool'! The 'second' cabin might suit one: again, as a tender, its best use might be as auxiliary storage or for stowing supplies on trips back to the Mother Ship.
I had a sea trial on that boat with my mate it drives very smoothly
Very smart but if I had this money I would spend it on a princess F45.
Always nice to see different boats though 👍🇬🇧❤️
Hi @AQUAHOLIC, great video as always. Hoping there could be some more sailing yacht focused clips coming too :)
Stay tuned! :)
Brilliant
perfect !!!
So if you need to drop your anchor for safety maneuvers… you’re screwed…
Beautiful boat and great tour, as per usual with Nick
It's snazzy, but this was my also my first thought.. what about when you NEED to drop anchor immediately?
An awesome 'caravan' that can pull skiers, and tubes, yet set for a fine dinner, and a sleep versus a'mobile home't hat can keep you for a week and haul the other toys.Hmmm,decisions...?
Nick - I would love to see you review, if you managed to get your hands on them, a Mulder or a Zeelander. Those just seem perfect gentleman cruisers, with classic, elegant lines and amazing craftsmanship. If I ever come into possession of a large sum of money and manage to convince my wife into acting as a deckhand (am absolutely useless with knots, can barely tie my own shoes, so really nervous at the prospect of docking a boat), I would get myself one of those Dutch beauties.
Actually, a very nice boat. If you have the bucks, why not? Great tour, as usual.
Just commenting to help the channel... keep up the good work!
Much appreciated!
