Came across this channel a few weeks back. I had no interest in boats at all, but man, I love these videos. I have learnt a lot about a topic I had no previous interest in. I'm hooked Cheers!
Love when you get to show a Marex, one of, if not my favorite boat/manufacturers. You are correct in saying they are very practical, a great looking boat and their use of space is second to none, all at a fair price. Thanks as always Nick for sharing.
Such a nice size and practical boat for a smaller family, and a bit more achievable for the average person. As a Swede it’s always fun to see the Scandinavian boats. Even though a Princess might be more posh, a Marex or Targa just has a certain charm to it with the practical and usable design. Always so fun to see how positive and relaxed you and your community is! Everyone is just coming together over a common interest, you’ve got to love it.
I believe you have found my ideal boat Nick 10/10. Now for your next challenge, please find me the money to buy one 😉. Awesome video as always, I never had an interest in boats until I found your channel. Thank you.
I honest prefer the cheap boat reviews, because the expensive ones can get predictable, but with the smaller space the designers really have to work to make the most of the space
I really enjoy these smaller boats, I have no clue why I figure it’s the creativity some companies have with smaller boat trying to fit stuff in like they would on the bigger boats. It also could be that I seem to find that they try out new designs on the smaller boats before they do it on the bigger ones so you see the leading edge of new tech.Great review as always Nick!
What a great boat from Marex! The canopy system is such a great idea and it looks so nice when the canopy is up and the way it just slides away so you don't have to attach/detach all the time. Such a practical boat and proves that the Norwegians know how to build a practical boat! Great job Nick! Also that Bentley that went past was cracking haha. Cheers
Just found this channel! Absolutely informative and calming, no annoying music over stupid flashy edits and voiceovers. The real deal. Greetings from Holland!
I just love when a manufacturer understand usability. Just tiny little details like the gap for the fender rope at the back on the lid for the tender storage tells me everything I need to know about the rest of the boat. I'm thoroughly impressed and this is something else to dream about. Brilliant review as always.
That Marex 330 is a lovely coastal boat, but I have taken one of these to the Channel Islands and back and they're a lovely craft to drive and the owner was pleased that he was competent enough to pilot it himself after a couple of days with someone who had his day skippers/advanced skippers licence! Great tour as usual nick very in-depth and useful 👍
Stunning interior layouts. Super efficient yet luxurious design. For its size, having two spacious cabins and a well-equipped heads area are so amazing. This yacht is so much better than any other ones of the same size.
As an armchair sailor and lover of every boat highlighted, I have to say that this is my favorite! For the bang for the buck this is amazing. I'd love to put an order in but I went out this evening and put 50 litres of petrol in the car and did the food shopping for the next few days and I'm the thick of £150 out of pocket. With modern life getting eye wateringly expensive, I think I'll forever be an armchair sailor
So very clever - I love it! You can just see the designer go "wait, there's a foot of space there, how can we use that?" Fantastic! Thanks for the tour!
Many "modern" boats have some unique feature that is designed to set it apart - a One Trick Pony. That being the standard, THIS boat is a Full Featured Circus Horse. It begins with the simple Self Storing Canopy. Then, not just an aft deck sliding roof panel but the Cabin Roof also slides open. Having seen the video, we are all aware of this boat's place in the boating World - the FUN section. Thanks Marex for this fine, fun craft and to Nick for the guided tour. Peanuts? Popcorn? Flotation Device?
Absolutely marvelous boat for a 33 footer great spacing lovely cockpit nice engine room space love the canopy arrangements. and lovely presentation. Keep them coming take care
Hi Nick. Although I’ve watched this one before, I’ve just realised the boat opposite that you walk past (Marex 310) is the boat I’vee recently bought. It’s my first boat and basically bought it on the back of your review of the 310. Your videos were what inspired me to get into boating and I’m sure it’s the same for many others. Still just a few weeks in and loving it but spending too much time looking at weather forecasts - why has it been so windy lately. Thanks for all your content and inspiring me to give boating a try.
I love your super yacht videos but I’ve fallen in love with these type of vessels. It’s something achievable in my lifetime. Great video!! Thank you once again Sir Lower Upington AKA Nick
A superb boat. I like how the canopy's all fold away like that, so much easier. Very well thought out design and very practical, giving plenty of space to move around. When you first went down to the lower deck. I thought in front looked like a curtain, which I expected you to pull back to reveal the master cabin. Great video and thanks for sharing this fine vessel with us Nick
Lovely boat, great weekender with the huge beds, and those canopies are a really great idea - I can see that being an industry standard within a few years, saves so much faff and storage issues. Even has a shower at 6'4" I can use, better than a lot of houses!
Absolute stunner. The amount of boat you get for that price point is amazing! The elegant design, features, and brilliant use of space makes this a perfect weekend getaway or a live in option.
Add in a small water maker and small generator with a lithium-ion battery bank and this boat would be great for 4 people or less. I really like this one. Great video Nick. Thanks.
It appeared to have five batteries, though I couldn't tell what their chemistry was. Might already have the Li-ion bank you're wanting. And with gas cooking, if you charge them in the marina, that's probably plenty for a weekend, with no generator required. Replacing gensets with Li-Ion banks seems to be trend in new boats, from what I've read.
Nicest and most practical small boat I've seen for a while, though a flip-down tv above the kitchen would be a nice addition, esp with a swivel option, so you could watch it at the rear table too.
Always liked the canopy system on the Marex, rest of the boat design isn't too shabby either. Pretty much an idea boat for where and how I do my boating. Great tours as always Nick, thanks for sharing.
I really like those under 40’s boats you’ve shown us, they’re actually smartly designed and personal. Aside from all the “power pretties” you’ve delighted us with, i am really curious about the cruising quietly “green” boats that seem to be quickly approaching our way.
Pleasantly surprised! I loved the tour and the boat. For the price, I was ready to go find one! Thank you for not editing out the removal of the back deck enclosure. It was authentic and easy! It would have been easy to skip it but you got into the details! Well done! Thank you Nick! Love you!
What a super boat, nothing to dislike here, an absolute winner. Thanks for the tour Nick 👍 Note to self: “ if I don’t stand in that hatch I’ll be able to open it” 😆🤣
Hi Nick. Yes i remember the last Marex. Canopy is much easier single handed. Plenty of clever design features, funky lighting too. Great walkthrough tour thanks 😊
loved the way you slipped in right at the end of the engine room tour "even has diesel fired central heating", that would be a clincher for me if I was buying one to run in the UK.
This yacht is beautiful. I know nothing on the subject and thanks to your videos I am starting to learn something and developing my own taste. Thank you sir.
I do love the Marex boats. The practicality and class blend together so well and make them arguably the best option available for their size. Simply brilliant. Really enjoyable tour as always, and high scoring on BurnhamBingo too 😁 Thanks!
Not sure if it's the calmness of his voice.. his overall knowledge of boating.. but.. I can watch these videos for hours and just dream.. thank you sir.. keep up the great work.. you are appreciated 👏🏽
Think this would make a great winter weekender in the Balearics, go nice with an Axopar 37 day boat for the summer, all those beautiful deserted Cala’s in the winter all to yourself
What a well thought out design that maximizes the space! My favourite is the inside table that flips to a forward facing seat - Perfect! The only downside is that fridge - way too small even for a day excursion with family or friends.
I love all the clever features of this boat! And unlike many of the Scandinavian boats, it doesn't look like a workboat. I think I recall reading in MBY that James May got one of these (or was it a 310?). I only have two gripes: 1) If you need quick, safe access to the side decks, you're going to have to step on the cockpit seats, since the only "clear" access is via the swim platform (although at least there's that teak rail to grab on top of the cockpit coaming); 2) As someone noted, it would be nice if the bow thruster control was on the starboard side of the wheel so you could reach it while standing on the side deck, as in your example. Excellent work as usual, Nick!
Rather nice Nick… I was surprised to see a ‘step in’ engine room for this size boat! Some interesting design & layout touches & the lighting is super nice. Fab tour as always, well done! 👍🏻👋🏻
I’ve started watching your videos and watched some of the more expensive ones in the millions but the quality and elegance of this boat everything is so well thought out this is definitely my favourite boat you’ve done a video on
How did you know that Bob was my mother's brother? Mystic Nick of Alcoholic is, and forever will be, the Great One of All Boat and Yacht tours!! Well Done, my Mystic Mate, Well Done 👏
Really a nice set up. Liked theHelm and engine room. Looked like a great week ended. Ready for off shore boating and river or lakes. A nice size for a one man band operation and Maintance. Best of all it looks like a FUN boat to even fish from. Needs a life raft is all I could see.
Thank you this is a nice Yacht, you have improved since the last time I watched one of your videos 18 mins is perfect and you covered everything and opened, nice job. Now I have to look at this Galeon 500
What a breath of fresh air.. I haven't watched one of your videos for sometime, what with work and other humdrum fluff! Love the continued enthusiasm you upload Nick. Keep up the great work 🙂
Wow Nick, what a lovely boat. There is a lot going on with this boat. I’ve never heard of Marex. Thanks for a great tour. Enlightening! I would like to see dual engines though. But all in all a very nice boat. Cheers
And a Hugh thanks to Nick for this great show of this Marex 330 a Beautiful boat in my opinion with the nice solution with the canopy on rails I still remember your first show of the Marex 360 on Aquaholic how you like this system Nick maybe a Smugglers 3 in the making? Thanks again Nick a good show
By far the most enjoyable person to watch doing a boat tour
You're very kind 🙂
For just 33 feet , they have packed so much into this boat including a decent heads area with separate shower. Simply stunning .
Came across this channel a few weeks back. I had no interest in boats at all, but man, I love these videos. I have learnt a lot about a topic I had no previous interest in. I'm hooked Cheers!
Me too, late last year. I've been on Ferries. Never been on a boat. I like the crew cabin hidey-holes on mid range boats.
Welcome aboard :D
Join the club, buddy!
Same here lol
Welcome aboard! 🙂

Marex puts other "canopy boat" builders to shame.
Just found this channel! Absolutely informative and calming, no annoying music over stupid flashy edits and voiceovers. The real deal. Greetings from Holland!

I like the practical nature of the Marex boats. Such a good use of space, and the place to store the canvas easily is brilliant

Really nice boat that Nick. £10,000 per foot, about the same price as 3x2 timber, a bargain! Thanks for the video.
So very clever - I love it! You can just see the designer go "wait, there's a foot of space there, how can we use that?" Fantastic! Thanks for the tour!
Exactly!
@@AQUAHOLIC Except for the fridge. Too small I guess
I think this is the nicest craft I have seen for clever design, it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL. IF I WIN THE LOTTERY IM GETTING ONE.
Wow! Fender storage, canvas storage, fold out rear seat, sliding roof and hidden anchor - so much thought!
That’s a bloody steal for something like that, would be great in Kefalinia in Greece 🇬🇷 around the island. Great Video.
Is that where you are?

That's fantastic! I hope you're enjoying it.
how much do you bought it ?
I love these, such a great boat, I would have one in a heartbeat, the quality and design practically jumps out at you. Brilliant! Nice choice Nick
And “Bob is ya mothers brother” 😂 brilliant!!
Best boat man around!! Im a true aquaholic!!
Hi, there is one on the river , moored up from us and YES it would make a great holiday away boat , The canopy is one of the best . Thanks Nick .
I appreciate you contorting yourself into some of these engine spaces and compartment corners to give us a great view! Thank you!
I love your super yacht videos but I’ve fallen in love with these type of vessels. It’s something achievable in my lifetime. Great video!!
Thank you once again Sir Lower Upington AKA Nick
Blimey Nick. Those legs can move when they want to. Great intro. Missed this one. What a great little boat. Thank you. 👍
A superb boat. I like how the canopy's all fold away like that, so much easier. Very well thought out design and very practical, giving plenty of space to move around. When you first went down to the lower deck. I thought in front looked like a curtain, which I expected you to pull back to reveal the master cabin. I love versatile yachts that can be configured the way the owners wants depending on their activities and weather outside.
Lovely boat, great weekender with the huge beds, and those canopies are a really great idea - I can see that being an industry standard within a few years, saves so much faff and storage issues. Even has a shower at 6'4" I can use, better than a lot of houses!

What a beauty this is. Also noticed Nick’s wandering eye for cool cars at 11:44
Aaahh to have bushels of money.
Add in a small water maker and small generator with a lithium-ion battery bank and this boat would be great for 4 people or less. I really like this one. Great video Nick. Thanks.

That fold-down seat on the back would be great for fishing too.
Lovely, practical boat. You can live with this boat for years with no regrets.
Absolutely stunning. This is the retirement boat I need to convince my wife about 🤣
Love the storage compartment swallowing the canopy!! Brilliant!
Nicest and most practical small boat I've seen for a while, though a flip-down tv above the kitchen would be a nice addition, esp with a swivel option, so you could watch it at the rear table too.
I love this boat. I've looked at a lot of boats and I think this is my favorite design in the 30-40 range.
flyer 10 ?
Always liked the canopy system on the Marex, rest of the boat design isn't too shabby either. Pretty much an idea boat for where and how I do my boating. Great tours as always Nick, thanks for sharing.
Best looking boat I've seen in a long time. Cheers Nick 🍻
One of my favorite, you had me at the intro picture, and then all +++++'s. Great work, thanks!
Well done Nick, putting them canopies away one handed, while holding the camera 😀
What an amazing boat. There’s some fantastic design features on there. I’d love that
Very nice and practical.
This is the little package that good things come in
That is a lot of brand new boat for the money. Love the layout on this one.
522 in a hour. Not to shabby. Thank you Nick.
I really like those under 40’s boats you’ve shown us, they’re actually smartly designed and personal. Aside from all the “power pretties” you’ve delighted us with, i am really curious about the cruising quietly “green” boats that seem to be quickly approaching our way.
Loving it! I live where it rains alot so having an easy way to open and close the covers is awesome 👌 👏 👍 Thank you again Nick!
Pleasantly surprised! I loved the tour and the boat. For the price, I was ready to go find one! Thank you for not editing out the removal of the back deck enclosure. It was authentic and easy! It would have been easy to skip it but you got into the details! Well done! Thank you Nick! Love you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is the best Marex to date IMHO. Great vid, as always. If I had money I would buy a boat, because of Your vids :-)
I've always liked the build quality and creative design features. Good tour, thanks
What a super boat, nothing to dislike here, an absolute winner. Thanks for the tour Nick 👍
Note to self: “ if I don’t stand in that hatch I’ll be able to open it” 😆🤣
Some really clever ideas on this boat and great quality, great tour Nick and you never broke anything haha 😂
What lovely boat nick 🛥🚤⛵️👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi, What a lovely 33 footer, amazing fit out and clever is that canopy storage, having no bits of canopy to remove. Thanks for sharing it.
Hi Nick. Yes i remember the last Marex. Canopy is much easier single handed. Plenty of clever design features, funky lighting too. Great walkthrough tour thanks 😊
Very very impressed with this little boat. Cosy and functional. Beautiful in design and detail. Thanks Nick 👍
My pleasure!
loved the way you slipped in right at the end of the engine room tour "even has diesel fired central heating", that would be a clincher for me if I was buying one to run in the UK.
This yacht is beautiful.
I know nothing on the subject and thanks to your videos I am starting to learn something and developing my own taste. Thank you sir.
Glad you like them!
What a cracking small boat the best use of space I have seen. Thanks Nick
Now that is the nicest 33footer I have ever seen! What a smart boat... Perfect for a small family or newly retired couple to go out with some friends!
I do love the Marex boats. The practicality and class blend together so well and make them arguably the best option available for their size. Simply brilliant.
Really enjoyable tour as always, and high scoring on BurnhamBingo too 😁

Once again a great presentation. Well done
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nothing beats a toilet with a view , thanks for sharing this great boat Nick.👍
Think this would make a great winter weekender in the Balearics, go nice with an Axopar 37 day boat for the summer, all those beautiful deserted Cala’s in the winter all to yourself
Hi Nick, yes your right. The bentley continental is awesome. That's why I bought the continental gtc 😊❤
For a 33 man you get so much. Packaging in this boat is stunning. This would be a perfect boat to do the loop in.
What a well thought out design that maximizes the space! My favourite is the inside table that flips to a forward facing seat - Perfect!
The only downside is that fridge - way too small even for a day excursion with family or friends.
On reflection, the low-glare material is really good. Comedy genius, nick.
A very practical, high spec boat. Another one to add to my fave list, Aquaholic !
That does look like a well designed, well finished boat.
I love all the clever features of this boat! And unlike many of the Scandinavian boats, it doesn't look like a workboat. I think I recall reading in MBY that James May got one of these (or was it a 310?).

Excellent work as usual, Nick!
I think James May has a 310. You can move the seat cushion out of the way.
Few features excite me more than an enclosed deck saloon with sizable cockpit. Well done Marex and Nick!
If i'll ever be able to buy a boat, this one is on top of list... just perfect👍
That's a really nice boat. Not too flash and very practical. Nice job!
Lovely boat. Excellent design and quality of build and finish looks really good too.
What a great design boat! Prices are fabulously affordable!
Rather nice Nick… I was surprised to see a ‘step in’ engine room for this size boat! Some interesting design & layout touches & the lighting is super nice. Fab tour as always, well done! 👍🏻👋🏻

Mystic Nick of Alcoholic is, and forever will be, the Great One of All Boat and Yacht tours!!
Well Done, my Mystic Mate, Well Done 👏
A fantastic boat. Thanks for the tour Nick.
That's a very nice ship.Everything you need and a few surprisingly wanted items, you didn't know about until now.
Lots of features look similar to my Jeaneau 1095 - canopy system is very neat.
Really a nice set up. Liked theHelm and engine room. Looked like a great week ended. Ready for off shore boating and river or lakes. A nice size for a one man band operation and Maintance. Best of all it looks like a FUN boat to even fish from. Needs a life raft is all I could see.

Welcome back! 🙂
This is a nice boat. The canopy idea is brilliant. Thank you for the complete tour. 🌺
My pleasure!
J adore ta manière de présenter ! Un grand bonjour de Belgique !!don t worry,il understand english! Thanks à lot and continue !!!!!
Your boat tours, sets the bar so high. I sometime can't watch others tours, no matter how nice the boat is lol
You're very kind 🙂
Wow Nick, what a lovely boat. There is a lot going on with this boat. I’ve never heard of Marex. Thanks for a great tour. Enlightening!
I would like to see dual engines though. But all in all a very nice boat.
Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
And a Hugh thanks to Nick for this great show of this Marex 330 a Beautiful boat in my opinion with the nice solution with the canopy on rails I still remember your first show of the Marex 360 on Aquaholic how you like this system Nick maybe a Smugglers 3 in the making? Thanks again Nick a good show
I'm not sure if this boat is expensive... But I know price you pay...
Value you get! You are getting a lot of value with this Marex.
Cute boat. I’m so delighted to see you able to work again! We missed you!
Thank you! 😊
At last - I have been waiting for this one for AGES!! It's perfect!
The rear deck on this boat makes it - great videos by the way
loving the Ken Masters blouson. suits you Nick
