I’d use an impact for this type of screw. Saves the wrenching of the arm. Great for drilling through joists though.

I have the same model. It is a different tool with procore batteries. But for the most of my jobs i don't use the procore batteries on this drill, it doesn't need it. I just tried it to see how does it handle.

How is the SDS setting on this drill ? I'm thinking of getting this drill and won't have to carry a Combi & a SDS

This drill does not have sds head atachment.
If you are doing light jobs in brick and marter, then it is ok on smaller size drill bit, it is even ok for drilling ceramic tiles. Anything bigger, you need to have sds drilling machine, especially if you are drilling multiple holes in hard concrete.

@@ToolTest i drill a lot 5-6-8 mm holes for Fischer DuoPower. Cameras, conduits, etc from ladder. Can the 18V-110 handle it? I am tired of the corded bigboy hammer drill , i need something cordless and compact. I know it doesnt have the Joules but how does it handle it.

with 5 and 6 that still can drill but up to 8 and 10 drill into concrete that not a good things vibration from drill very large and the drill job won't comfortable cause you have to push so hard so it can drill into concrete
If you need drill on concrete you can think about some cordless compact Rotary hammer drill
      There are some option from
      Bosch GBH 180 Li Brushed/Brusless
      Makita DHR171 And 182
      Dewalt Dch172
Hilti Nuron Also Have but i don't know much

@@QuockhanhPham20 I think I am going to choose the 18V-60 FC with the SDS attachment (1Joule hammer). Compact and versatile lighter/smaller than then 18V-110

Use pro-core batteries (not slim one’s) for maximum power.

@@ToolTest I have owned 4Ah CORE batteries for a couple years, they are not new. The 8Ah CORE batteries have also been available for a while.
It's just the 12Ah batteries the ones that are only 1-2 years old at this point.

@@engineer_alv It probably depends on the country, I repeat, when I filmed this video (not when I posted it, but when I filmed it), I don't even think that ProCore batteries had appeared, at least not in my country. Beyond that, I don't understand why people make such a fuss about the batteries I used, it's not like GBA batteries disappeared from the market.

      @@ToolTest absolutely 😂🤣😂

    • @ToolTest
      @ToolTest  Рік тому +1

@@HnrPram It depends on many factors. What type of battery is it, GBA or ProCore, what is its capacity, how is the battery maintained and charged, with what type of charger, in what load is it used, etc., etc. It can last a whole day when screwed with 2mm screws, or it can be discharged after two holes in wood with a 30x400mm drill. So I have no way to answer exactly to such a question.
