Hey Chis. Love the vids. Watched them all!! I’m also using Gong kit so really helpful to see what you use and see how well you ride it. Have you used the Rear Fuse Extender? Thought it might give some different feels that would be interesting to explore?!?!

Just practising s turns and gybes now - still a way to go with gybes but getting there (on a curve xxl ok - the sirus wings are tricky lol) - but i remember when i couldnt even stand on the board when i started so just taking my time , ive come a long way already and still love it - amazing sport 😁

You went off the rails for a bit . I'm glad you're now back pushing the limits again. You did well today. Was verry challenging. I look forward to the next session with you buddy 👍

Nice session Chris. I pretty much have my gybes dialed in but still working on the Tacks. Only made a couple of toeside to healside ones. Found Speed is the key.
Got a couple of quick questions. I did purchase the HM 79 from Gong. Price point for their gear is just too much savings to pass it up. I have a Armstrong 85 that I got on a big sale but to go to one of their High Modulus Masts would litterally cost twice as much as the GONG. I did not get the silcone mast protector that goes on the top of the mast; supposedly to protect the board. Do you use that? Also, in this video what front wing were you using? thanks
    S

Hi Stephen thanks for watching Tacks have taken me a year to get to 90% success on flatish water and 60% in shoulder high swell .haha always learning.
I have never used a silicone protector however I use clear tape gorilla and I use clear tape on rails it's about 10 quid and has worked on all my boards still like new. Video of setting a board up with the tape use a hairdrye😊 .ua-cam.com/video/b51GsmMJOjw/v-deo.htmlsi=IvtNCFU3Y1E1M7N-
