There are 2 things you haven't found yet: 1. When Alexios defeats the NPCs outsite the barracks. The surviving NPC will carry the dead NPCs inside. 2. When Alexios defeats Mercenary, if They have a pet (bear, wof, puma...), that animals will be sad, sit next to Mer body.
Male NPCs also do their business on bushes. I found this out the hard way. I was going through town and jumping from roof to roof. Then, I jumped down only to realize that I had landed on a guy pissing on the bushes. Needless to say, we both freaked out.

Hearing of all that useless talk of comparison between AC Odyssey and RDR2 makes me sick. "Misthios" bahah. Animal behaviours are some of my favourite details, they really make the game seem more 'real'. The chickens are the true Bosses lol... one of my favourite *moments* in this game is when I first noticed the random ship battles in the distance. I also love the lightning and waves during a storm. I also love that Ikaros will distract enemies for you in battle :D
Seeing your own breath when you go to colder reigons... when You're covered in blood, a quick dive in the water will rinse it off... Say what you want about this one, I only recently got it and I'm horribly addicted to it. The last game that did that to me was Skyrim way back in 2011. I think the story and side quests are pretty good. And the actor playing Kassandra does an awesome job conveying emotion. Not the best AC, but definitely a step in the right direction. Just redo the inventory because half the loot I can't dismantle or sell. I'm sick of looting things I don't need.

What I really love since Origins is that you can auto pilot when riding horse or just auto walk/or climb without need to push the button, save great deal of my keyboard and finger stress. I broke my W button of my old keyboard when I played AC III.

Does anyone else think kassandras voice actor is way better than alexios. Kass sounds like a protagonist. Who can sound nice or nasty dependingon dialog choices. Were as alexios's sounds like he thought he was playing a evil villan guy no matter your choices.

Amazing. I'm loving the game. Yesterday I was sailing near the coast and a sperm-whale jumped out of the water next to my ship. It was a fantastic moment! :)
Also enemies will comment on abilities like they will say "impossible" "my eyes must playing tricks on me" "how are you doing that" "you really are a demigod"
On my 1700 is uses up to 75% of the cpu at times. That's insane. Luckily I have a 360 radiator when playing Origins or this one. My 1080 Ti doesn't work hard at all in this game it's all cpu bound mostly. My 1080 Ti will stay around 1500mhz and jump to 1900mhz at times but never stay at its full potential. Usually away from a city it stays around 70%. What most people don't realize is how this game works. It's not DRM killing it. The way the game is developed. There is a ton of stuff going in in this game all at once. The witcher 3 didn't look this good and didn't run at a constant 60fps either in 4k. This game has some really good lighting and textures which is what kills the performance but damn it looks too good in 4k. I didn't know what I was missing when I went from my crappy 1080p panel to my Samsung 4k 28in panel.
gestucv olonor I never see Gerald holding his nose when he's submerged and i never see a Wolf or a Drowner attacking villager out in the open in The Witcher 3. I never see a villagers fight for their life if you trying to kill them, oh wait, you can't kill innocence people in The Witcher 3. I never see a town guards switch their shift and take a break, resting his weapons in weapon rack and sparring each other in The Witcher 3. So much for "Most of this is expected in an open world game nowadays" EDIT: No hard feeling tho, i'm just saying, that's all.

I also found a little detail,when I was walking through a field of corns,Kassandra reached her hand out to touch the corns,it happens when you walk slowly,thought it was a cool little detail
90% of this was EXACTLY the same in origins. They used the same animations and everything. As a game designer I don't fault them because using previous assets allowed them to concentrate on making the game grander instead of starting from scratch, but all those details credit should be given to the origins group not Odyssey. I want to see 20 NEW details Odyssey has that origins didn't.

Another thing you missed, if you shoot arrows through fire they become fire arrows. This inculudes your own torch if throw it and shoot an arrow through it. Pretty useless but nice attention to detail
Unity is one of my favs behind brotherhood and AC3. I liked Arno though, i thought he had a cool transformation through the story. Connor is still my fav since Ezio though.
I'm super late to this but Icarus isn't doing a barrel roll a barrel roll involves circling around in the air in a loop just an FYI if you don't believe me go look it up I didn't believe it either until I actually read about it and looked it up quite fascinating honestly
This game is badly optimized, Anyone suffering with fps turn down vol cloud to med/low same with shadows, medium seems to be the sweet spot for both settings. you can pretty much ramp everything else up high/max and be ok at 1080p 60fps with 4.0 ghz+ and a 1060 gtx 6gb equivalent. You might be able to turn on resolution super sample up to 15% via ini. the in game 25% options and above is too taxing atm for mid grade gamer setups. go to C:\Users\user\Documents\Assassin's Creed Odyssey, open ACOodyssey.ini and change PixelDensity=1.00000 to 1.10 or 1.15 giving you a sharper image with not much of a fps drop. if it does shit on you you can always reset it back to the normal 100% via game display tab. Also turning Bloom=1 to 0 also helped me a lot in areas with fire/cities. Hope I helped someone out! P.s always save a copy of your ini files before you fuck with them!
Edwin D after reading cancerous comments after cancerous comments about "RDR2 being better" or "same as Origins" I find a pleasantly surprising comment that has helped me IMMENSELY. Seems the volumetric clouds to low along with the pixel density change did the trick. I'm currently hitting a constant 60fps now thanks to you and I wouldn't have ever guessed this was the solution because I thought the environmental details was the only main culprit. Also through more tweaking i found Ambient occlusion to be taxing above high and aa at low is best option too, this left me more room to slap on some lumasharpening\clarity reshades with no fps loss. My current settings on a i7 3770 4ghz low oc gtx 1060(@2150mhz boosted) 6gb, 16 gb ram ddr3 at 1800mhz: Aa low, shadows v high, environment v high, text det high, terrain high, clutter v high, fog low, water high, reflect high, clouds high, char text detail high, character v high, Ambient occl high, dof off. Only times i struggle is cities where my lowest are at 52 fps but everywhere else is a butter smooth 60. Ohhh and you might as well turn bloom back on since iv found the ambient occlusion set to very high was the culprit for the low fps around fires\torch moment...phew....sorry lmao wall of text i know but worth it!

Most of these are just copy pasted from origins. Also, mounting while running and horse collapsing were both done better by the first red dead redemption, a game that came out 8 years ago. I'm not as impressed with this game as I was with origins, feels like ubisoft just wanted another assassin's creed title for this year for some reason.
F*ck no mounting and horse collapsing succes in RDR 1, the horse ridding in RDR 1 sucks even if you compare it with AC brotherhood. RDR 1 is a good game but many People exaggerate RDR 1

On my 1700 is uses up to 75% of the cpu at times. That's insane. Luckily I have a 360 radiator when playing Origins or this one. My 1080 Ti doesn't work hard at all in this game it's all cpu bound mostly. My 1080 Ti will stay around 1500mhz and jump to 1900mhz at times but never stay at its full potential. Usually away from a city it stays around 70%. What most people don't realize is how this game works. It's not DRM killing it. The way the game is developed. There is a ton of stuff going in in this game all at once. The witcher 3 didn't look this good and didn't run at a constant 60fps either in 4k. This game has some really good lighting and textures which is what kills the performance but damn it looks too good in 4k. I didn't know what I was missing when I went from my crappy 1080p panel to my Samsung 4k 28in panel.

I also found a little detail,when I was walking through a field of corns,Kassandra reached her hand out to touch the corns,it happens when you walk slowly,thought it was a cool little detail
90% of this was EXACTLY the same in origins. They used the same animations and everything. As a game designer I don't fault them because using previous assets allowed them to concentrate on making the game grander instead of starting from scratch, but all those details credit should be given to the origins group not Odyssey. I want to see 20 NEW details Odyssey has that origins didn't.

Another thing you missed, if you shoot arrows through fire they become fire arrows. This inculudes your own torch if throw it and shoot an arrow through it. Pretty useless but nice attention to detail

I'm super late to this but Icarus isn't doing a barrel roll a barrel roll involves circling around in the air in a loop just an FYI if you don't believe me go look it up I didn't believe it either until I actually read about it and looked it up quite fascinating honestly

This game is badly optimized, Anyone suffering with fps turn down vol cloud to med/low same with shadows, medium seems to be the sweet spot for both settings. you can pretty much ramp everything else up high/max and be ok at 1080p 60fps with 4.0 ghz+ and a 1060 gtx 6gb equivalent. You might be able to turn on resolution super sample up to 15% via ini. the in game 25% options and above is too taxing atm for mid grade gamer setups. go to C:\Users\user\Documents\Assassin's Creed Odyssey, open ACOodyssey.ini and change PixelDensity=1.00000 to 1.10 or 1.15 giving you a sharper image with not much of a fps drop. if it does shit on you you can always reset it back to the normal 100% via game display tab. Also turning Bloom=1 to 0 also helped me a lot in areas with fire/cities. Hope I helped someone out! P.s always save a copy of your ini files before you fuck with them!
Edwin D after reading cancerous comments after cancerous comments about "RDR2 being better" or "same as Origins" I find a pleasantly surprising comment that has helped me IMMENSELY. Seems the volumetric clouds to low along with the pixel density change did the trick. I'm currently hitting a constant 60fps now thanks to you and I wouldn't have ever guessed this was the solution because I thought the environmental details was the only main culprit. Also through more tweaking i found Ambient occlusion to be taxing above high and aa at low is best option too, this left me more room to slap on some lumasharpening\clarity reshades with no fps loss. My current settings on a i7 3770 4ghz low oc gtx 1060(@2150mhz boosted) 6gb, 16 gb ram ddr3 at 1800mhz: Aa low, shadows v high, environment v high, text det high, terrain high, clutter v high, fog low, water high, reflect high, clouds high, char text detail high, character v high, Ambient occl high, dof off. Only times i struggle is cities where my lowest are at 52 fps but everywhere else is a butter smooth 60. Ohhh and you might as well turn bloom back on since iv found the ambient occlusion set to very high was the culprit for the low fps around fires\torch moment...phew....sorry lmao wall of text i know but worth it!
