Great info 🎉 regarding pcb’s …it always the bloody capacitors that fail 🤦🏼♂️ we should teach engineers to be able to rectify these small components. Save sending the boards to land fill 😅
Nothing cleans a plate to plate like spirit of salts, but its a mild Hydrochloric acid and burns your skin if you splash it, still its great. They should put it at the front like on Viessman boilers.
I'm starting to think they've Banned it! It's listed as a chemical potentially used for (making things that go Bang) in new legislation from last year😢 Hexamine Blocks(camping fuel) are also the list. A mate of mine has the same problem trying to buy it.
Great content👌 I'm having drama with a Betacom 3. Changed Diverter cartridge, but heating circuit is still half open on HW demand..I'm now thinking faulty Harness🤔(i.e. is it not fully moving to HW) or Dirt in the hydrobloc...I'm stumped😮
@@warriorsofwarmth all good there, recognises demand, fires up, heat goes around Plate and down the Flow....HW is warm at best, isolate the Flow= Instantly Hot.

Yes there is companies that repair pcbs, I've never used them tjough

Viessmann plates do block but mainly cause they use inhibitors

Hi mate, I have hot water but heating doesn't come on when set temp on thermostat. Any ideas thanks
