You can actually modify each individual characters/words/line etc in TMPro, apply shaders and other stuff to it but yeah that comes at the cost of researching a lot and writing your own code if you're into it. Otherwise simply get the asset and save time :D
Yes! TMP already has a great toolset out of the box :D I've made about 18 tutorials on TMP by now and still feel like I haven't covered everything. I still feel like Text Animator is an amazing asset since it streamlines a lot of possibilities and makes them a bit more accessable :)
Version 2.1.0, does not wait in as rich text code. I dont TypeWritter at all. I just want to wait 3 sec after bounce animation played. Can't find any apis to do that from code. What to do?
Thanks for the tutorial! One question, can you skip the appearance animation so the full text shows instantly if you click a second time while the animation plays out? Haven't figured out how. It always just starts the next string for me instantly if I click before the first string has finished appearing.
Nice video! Is there a way to skip the animation with the push of a button though, for those readers who just want to read a string of text on their own time?
@@ChristinaCreatesGames I'm afraid, it isn't that simple - I'm also using the Dialogue System from PixelCrushers and I can figure out how to skip the typewriter effect from that Dialogue System, but not the one from the TextAnimator asset

Thank you =D Sure, it can! Have a look at 02:09 , you can toggle on "Can be skipped" for the Typewriter Effect :)
