Specyfie Lego star wars set. There were only two sticker sheets in the 10 years of the Lego Minecraft theme, and there never were stickers in Lego Mario or sonic (not counting ideas)
I never had any illusions about its size. It’s the same piece category as the Invisible Hand, and the Acclamator was obviously going to be much wider than longer, and based on the parts we have at our disposal, this is basically exactly what I expected
Big attachment to the Acclamator as well, but because of Empire at War. It's the first real capital ship you get access to and does a lot overall Been waiting for this since mid 2000s
Definitely the bread and butter of the early game space options, and if you play the Empire on Hard difficulty they will be spamming Acclimators over and over. Reminded me of when Lego came out with a TIE Mauler.
It technically was AVAILABLE to everyone thanks to the last minute switch to an online sale, but you had to absolutely jump on it. But I understand the frustration. I was on the other side of the world at the time, so I was wide awake when the sale went live.
It is a bit of a tedious solution, but Lego does have the PDF instructions for the Nebulon and then you can use the part list in them to find what pieces you'll need from either pick a brick or other parts selling sites.
That’s how I felt about the Duel on Bespin the year before. Was only available for like 5 mins while I was at work. So I was on top of it for the Nebulon, and it was well worth it. As the State Farm commercial guy said, “You gotta be quicker than that. You almost had it!”
It may not be ideal if you're a collector and want the official set, but Creation Caravan Toys has done a _Nebulon-B_ as an alternate build of the _Invisible Hand_ and IMO it's as good if not slightly better than the official set. It's a little chonkier, but has fewer visible studs. And it's a lot less pricey than paying a gouger on eBay for the original. Every time I post a link into UA-cam comments it seems to get moderated away so I won't try here. Just search for _creative caravan toys nebulon-b_ or stick _Y4CGOhcIaqA_ at the end of a UA-cam URL for a video of the build. The instructions are purchasable on Rebrickable for a fiver.
Out of topic idea: I was opening my advent calendar today and I thought, they would be so much better if instead of having 20 mini irevelent micro build you can’t do anything with it, we would actually get 5-10 pieces everyday to build a larger LEGO, like a star fighter or something , the coolest would be if each micro build were design, that on the last day when you have them all, with the spare parts, you can build a much larger build you will keep in time, could be a cool video to do Solid brick studio ! Love your videos man
My dad made me a version of this as a kid for the geonosian star fighter that came with ki adi mundi. Split the pieces into 24 separate baggies and at the end I had the whole set completed. I absolutely loved that idea and preferred it to the Lego ones
I really can't justify the price. Like I don't think any of the mini-scale ship line of ships are priced right, but this one especially. It feels like the same size of the Jedi Starfighter line which *should* retail around $25 now (obviously don't now), but you don't even get minifigures with this, just some extra detail I guess? Not worth it to me
I have a lot of nostalgia for this ship, but it's from a weird source... I played a LOT of Empire at War (star wars RTS) growing up and the "acclamator" is the first "big" ship you get access to as the empire. Most of your early battles are fought flying around with fleets of these things, and it's a good while before you get Star Destroyers, so I ended up with loads of screen time using this ship. I love it, it's so iconic for me! Just wish it was a little bigger, or cheaper 😂
Same! I think I might get one and part swap the red pieces to add to my Imperial Fleet. Also hope someday we see the Empire on screen using them, it only makes sense.

That reaction at the beginning was the same thing I had for the Home One! Home One has been my favorite ship for almost all of Star Wars history, and to finally get the flagship of the rebel alliance after like 25 years of LEGO Star Wars feels so good (btw I’m also excited for the Acclamator, as an Empire at War player I love capital ships).
The set ain't half bad. I think I like these mini scale ships better than the huge ones. The fact they did FULL PRINTS is awesome (maybe we will start getting more / only prints for expensive / adult oriented sets). The price is a bit pricy to be honest. that's a good non franchise set .

I don’t think the printed pieces suddenly make it worth €50. Printed pieces should be standard. Even taking the width over length argument this ship is just small compared to the rest. I think we are gaslighting ourselves here because its a clone wars ship. Not worth €50 in my eyes
I think this review has sold me on the Acclamator! Was on the fence like everyone else regarding the size/cost ratio, but @5:11 when you are comparing it next to the Invisible Hand, it looks nice! And also comparing it @5:30 it's the smallest to be sure, but still looks pretty in-scale to the other ships in the MIDI-scale line!
As a guy building gunplas, no stickers feels like a dream, though Bandai has released fully color separated kits before, they are still rare. And stickers are really prominent in Lego sets, it feels so good to find a fully color separated Lego set for me.
Ships that LEGO needs to do in this line: - Venator-class star destroyer - Munificent-class star frigate - Imperial I/II-class star destroyer - Lucrehulk-class battleship - The Malevolence
Lego is price gouging like mfers. DO NOT BUY JANUARY SETS AT LAUNCH. WAIT FOR DISCOUNTS. Otherwise we're encouraging their poor behavior towards consumers
I think the size is perfect, they kept it to scale with the invisible hand. The Acclamator is roughly 3/4 the length of the invisibie hand, which is also true with the Lego versions. Would love to see a venator and a lucrehulk class at the same scale
What I really like about this set is that it seeks in proportion with the invisible hand set. This and the printed pieces makes me feel like it’s worth retail price.
Sorry bro, I'm glad you admit you are biased, but this feels the most like an ambassador post vs an honest review. Day one buy, extra points, it's not too short... these sound like yielding to LEGO for what reason? I am really happy they made the set and I'll be glad to grab it on sale.

I was curious how the two scaled with each other, so I dug around Wookiepedia to see how the two ships compare with their in-universe sizes. The Invisible Hand is 1,088 m long, 198 m wide, and 198 m tall. An Acclamator class assault ship (I could only find the old Legends canonical dimensions) is 752 m long, 460 m wide, and 347 m tall (without the landing gear deployed). So, the Lego versions do a great job approximating that and look awesome together!
You are looking at this set with bright rose tinted glasses. Really wish this had been a venator. Very happy to see the printer pieces though. Hope future sets get the same treatment. Maybe when i see this in person i will feel different.
Its not that the set isn't a beautiful set, it's the fact that Lego has been elevating their prices, making it harder for fans to buy. They are isolating to older fans. There no way in this economy, that kids can easily go in and buy cool sets like in my youth. Many others have covered this in better detail. This set should be at most $40. Mainly because of the printed pieces. If it was stickers id say $25.

Would love them to release a UCS or just a larger Acclamator in general around the anniversary of Attack of the Clones. Shame we didnt get a new mtt for the phantom menace’s anniversary though
Finally Lego does it right. I am absolutely willing to pay the price tag for the printed pieces. Although I will say the clone Easter egg being tucked in there makes me wish it was a bit closer to the ramp. But ehh that’s nitpicking it. The only thing I wish is that Lego at the price point would just include one minifig. For the invisible hand I put General Grevious and with the Executor I put Darth Vader right at one of the grill pieces and I have to say for me the minifigure there is just a chef kiss to the entire build. So here I am wish they added a phase one clone
Sorry David, it IS too small. It's 4/5 scale of what it should have been. While I appreciate the printed pieces -- they should have done with the Tantive IV! -- it's Too small. Oh and did I mention it's too small
Prints for a modern day LEGO set sounds unheard of. Especially on flat surfaces. Here hoping it’s a sign for what to come.

You can make a venator out of an executor, with some color swaps to dark red
You can make one out of a super star destroyer, and it will be pretty much in scale with this one

I think fleet symbols should ALWAYS be prints. I hate how it’s not on the ARC-170 or invisible hand.
