Awesome vid I'm currently restoration on a 1998 jeep grand cherokee 5.9 limited edition currently looking for some interior and other parts. Keep up the good work looking forward for more zj. Vid
Helpful hint, when you're unsure about how something comes apart and you have the new 1 in front of you. Check out the new 1 to see how it looks like it mounts so you have an idea where to look to take apart the old 1. Make sense? Also you can look it up on UA-cam..lol.
Have had 3 96 zj,1 with the 5.2 and 2 with the 4.0, all still ran and operated great till rust killed them currently have a 98zj thats in great shape and only 278k miles on it, the first 3 all had about 500k when the rust took them out
HI, I just about have the same problems with my 93' Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the I6 4.0. And I mean the same problems. It seems like the bulbs get so hot and makes the housing brittle and falls out. But my drivers side pass window keeps falling down all the time! Headliner is just like yours also. Would be great to keep in touch about our work on our jeeps as they basically are the same. UA-cam ppl mainly have 95 and up. Always nice for our tips on our ZJ's.
Hey! Love ur vids, wanted to know if ur xj 4x4 conversion video also applies to zj’s, I have a 2wd 97 grand Cherokee and have been thinking about converting it, thanks so much!
Yes and no, the axle information will apply and the transmission information is similar but there are some differences in the ZJ. Overall its the same process though.
@@junkyardrestoration4069 main difference in only in the driveshaft lengths, just a matter of determining which factory ones were used with the engine, transmission, transfer case, & axle combination you've used in your creation

Rust or abuse is just about the only things that can truly kill one.
@@junkyardrestoration4069 rust is the number 1 killer of jeeps, even breakages suffered from my abuse were just minor repairs
