Imo the most obscure tip for Mercy is that you can keep your 60heals/sec after valk. You can do this by keeping your beam attached on heals on someone before valk ends. Though it goes away after you either flick to dmg boost or switch beam targets, it can be very beneficial in a very close fight.
Yup. Super annoying if someobe does this to you but a sleeping enemy wont wake up to damage until they hit the ground BUT Ana does damage iver time so if you shoot someone in midair as theyre falling they might still wake up
The Mercy tech is actually quite simple. The reverse Ga is a mechanic that’s caused off of Mercy “stuttering” her Ga. Many Mercy players accidentally perform a stutter when someone interrupts or walks in front of her as she attempts Ga. This is because the stutter is essentially a Guardian Angel performed at the minimum GA distance. In order to perform the Reverse GA and add the distance to it you have to time your jump binding to as the stutter starts. This is much easier and more consistent to pull off if Mercy is jumping as well. Basically: Jump, and before you touch the ground; GA (at minimum distance), then finally press your jump binding again as the stutter starts. It requires a lot of practice to use consistently, and personally is not something I use too often (it’s rare that there’s situations in which it’ll actually be more beneficial than a slingshot, superjump, or bunny hop) but it is fun to use and can help when getting dove by certain heroes. Hope this helps ya. If you’d like can try to make clips of it.
Texel Gutierrez No, the one EeveeA showed in the Mercy video was slingshotting. Except he was showing how you can vertical slingshot as well (which is just slingshotting while someone is above you). This and the other form of Superjump can be performed from any angle even if someone is below you.
Nick von Imhof Bunny hopping is a Cancelation mechanic with GA. For me personally it’s the mechanic I use most often. Essentially all you do is cancel GA, and as you cancel (or touch the ground) jump and hold your jump binding, (hold to use Angelic Descent) this causes a little Hop that can be used to round corners quicker or keep momentum. This is a super good mechanic since it cancels Ga (which starts the Cooldown earlier) but retains momentum. Rather than keeping your momentum during a GA, which is what a slingshot does. This means you can increase your agility and use Ga more often.

SubOptimal Sage i mean, if they have to ask for heals then she deserves the shittalk. I know most mercys would “not heal when flamed” but thats fkin dumb
@@aris7115 Most Mercy's wouldn't 'not heal when flamed', and calling for heals makes it even easier to see that somebody's low. There's a lot of shit going on, and when you're a 200 health pigeon you're probably busy doing a little more than just sitting all relaxed. People miss things.
Most characters reload time is actually longer than it looks so keep an eye on your ammo and cancel your animation with a melee This is extremely true for reaper.
Another tip for Mccree is that you can animation cancel the reload at the right time, which doesn't slow the process of reloading, but makes your apm higher and surprises a lot of players
A cool mechanic for Hammond on Busan Mecha Base: You can grapple on one of the sliding walls and wait for them to go down. then you can spin for the win.

fun fact, hanzo and genji are tied for the smallest hit-reg projectiles in the game. In fact this is old news and was implemented well before storm arrow was even an idea in the communities mind. tl:dr rag tagg is a bitch and mercy's/dva's bullets are nearly 3x the size as hanzo's arrows.
@@Granolie I don't think he was criticising Hanzo, just pointing out how Widow has a watermelon-sized head. It's massive coz it includes her Visor and her body is very slim, making her entire hitbox kinda like a lamp post or lolipop lmao, she's easy to HS. Edit: but it's true, even Mercy apparently has like 3x the projectile size as Hanzo's arrow, overall all projectiles are pretty big though.
I’m a die hard Reddit Lucio, I’d even almost call myself a one trick. It took me way too long to learn that aiming higher makes you jump higher. So many people don’t know that. Along that same line, aiming at the ground makes you jump a lot lower, which is useful for navigating through rooms and tight spaces. And some pro tips for aspiring Lucio mains: enable backwards wall ride, disable auto jump off of wall, and have two binds for jump. One on any button of your preference, and the other on scroll wheel. Jumping with scroll wheel allows you to jump multiple times off of one wall, giving you more speed. This is mainly useful for performing rollouts, or just moving around the map quickly. The other bind however, is better at getting you more distance and height from each jump, which is useful for climbing terrain and is especially useful in fights for dodging damage.
I am just gonna share this info with you for mercy, since the mercy tip here is extremely hard to pull off. If you are standing on ground and fly to a teammate, but instead press CROUCH and Guardian Angel at the same time, you can get insane amounts of upward momentum by cancelling it at the end of the guardian angel animation, where you get pushed up in the air slightly. This can be super useful to jump off a teammate and fly upwards into the air, so you can reach a Widowmaker you couldn't usually fly to and heal said widow.
i wanted to note, with the winston tech you can't actually jump off the high ground, otherwise, your landing will be loud regardless. you need to walk off the high ground and hold crouch/jump key while falling to avoid the sound. still works if you're already crouching prior to walking off, but no pressing jump key til you've started falling.
I was like "where is that arrow going?" has it got a hot date or something, decided to go see it's partner for some sweet lovin'? oh no wait.....it just to decided to right turn suddenly and hit widow in the head haha.
17:03 Nope, that's exactly correct. *_To the best of my knowledge_* it happens because GA has a _minimum_ distance before it basically becomes a self stun; if you try to GA _inside_ that minimum space, it will slow to a crawl for the full duration of the animation because it has to do the full thing in significantly less space than it needs (it's trying to take _approximately_ the same time to "complete" the animation from far away as it does close). That sweet spot is the edge of that space, where you start to slow but can escape it by moving backwards still. It's almost like super jump in reverse. Super Jump you want to start outside the space (for the most height ending GA inside the space) and lower and once you slow in the end of the animation you jump to get insane vertical momentum. To go backwards, you need to _start_ in the inside of that space but move outside before you slow to a crawl, but you don't want the upward momentum to translate because it will sling shot you forward instead of backwards so you also need to come in with momentum towards the ground. Jumping in both cases is what triggers the huge change in momentum and the position from where that jump _starts_ is the key to where Mercy will be shot off to.
Ever since around the time Moira came out, I've been using this exploit I discovered, where you can animation cancel your reload. Here's how. First, reload. Then, when the ammo counter reaches max, melee, and you can have a fully-loaded weapon, before you're supposed to. This works really well for characters with long reload times, like Orisa and Bastion, and even for characters with really short reloads, like Reaper and Ana.
dis vid was on my recommended for so longgg~ always thought the thumbnail looked like a wolf in the dst. and I only realized it was rein like 5 min ago
About McCree, if i'm not mistaken there is an animation cancel with the ult. If you activate the ult an then shoot/cancel it (i don't exactly remember), and instantly throw your stun, your character won't use his arm, and the stun will come directly from your body. It can be useful to surprise-stun people.
Don't forget that Zarya's shield can "clean" your teammate from an enemy's debuff like ana's grenade. 2nd point is ana can heal the Baptiste's "imortallity shield" with normal shot. It could be usefull to know that :)
A really big thing you missed is that widows tip applies to other characters too, namely junkrat and Symettra. With junkrat traps/mines you can place them on stairs so when you are shooting upwards your head hit box is essentially completely hidden. With Symettra, her turrets (teleporter too, in a similar way to junkrat) can block several things. If someone like widow, Ashe, Hanzo or really any small hard hitting projectile/hitscan hero is attacking you you can throw ur turret in front of your face in their exact direction and the shot will hit the turret and not you. This can even block Deadeye. If you are caught in deadeye with nowhere to hide throw the turret directly at him and he will NOT be able to kill you. This also works if you place a turret on a wall and hide behind that turret, projectiles hitscan and Deadeye can’t hurt you. It sounds crazy but it’s actually pretty helpful and has saved my life a couple times.
I've gotta try the Hammond one, I'm looking to play him more in ranked and I believe I'm good with him, not to mention, that looked absolutely hilarious to do
the mercy bounce works similarly to a df bounce. in jumping forwards and pressing backward, you're inputting two different momentum vector groups: backward and jumping forwards. But whe u GA, u cancel the forwards momentum and replace it with GA momentum. In canceling the GA and sort of bouncing off the friendly hitbox, you add backward motion with GA backward bounce, moving you back.

7:58 that arrow was a meter above her head!
her head hitbox is a hippo lol
You can block a dva’s defense Matrix with mei wall. do your ult and it doesn’t get eaten
8 9 ive eaten gravs and dragons through the wall before though
Till it bugs out and lets you do it through walls, which is a thing since launch.
I doubt this, DVa's DM goes through walls and obstacles afaik.
@@tubester358 Normally, no. Glitchy exceptions notwithstanding.
@@maiy8786 lol no, that's Doomfist. That character is a walking bug.
Most characters reload time is actually longer than it looks so keep an eye on your ammo and cancel your animation with a melee
This is extremely true for reaper.
7:15 P E E N A L I Z E D
7:48 maaamentum
bruh munmentum
I wondered if anyone else noticed that
He better say P E E N A L T Y to make it consistent or I'm gonna call him out for it every time
I’m pretty sure that is actually how u say it
2:18 He missed the charge Pepelaugh
Obscure tip for Bastion Mains: if you go to spawn and press the H button on your keyboard, you can change to a different hero
Another tip for Mccree is that you can animation cancel the reload at the right time, which doesn't slow the process of reloading, but makes your apm higher and surprises a lot of players
Damn! I could use that rein tip if I’m trapped in a grav. Thanks as always, KarQ
I'd like to see if you can still do a 180 in that short timeframe. Thinking of Counter Grav that landed basically inside yours.
@@benhauenstein8249 if your bronze, then go for it, I'm bronze
@@Hexmeta Was that an invite to test it? I can't figure what your reply means.
I'll never use it because there is never a zarya on the enemy team or my own team!
I always thought people knew about it and figured Blizzard patched it out because I never saw people use it.
15:55 if only this applied to my sr ;-;
wait so ur bronze?
A cool mechanic for Hammond on Busan Mecha Base: You can grapple on one of the sliding walls and wait for them to go down. then you can spin for the win.
Shhhh don't be giving our secrets
I bought overwatch today and suddenly it is in my recommended
They are always watching
17:46 Weebs run around school like
Oh? Your approaching me?
9:02 mccree their tech idea was a bit of a niche thing to show never the less good advice, however while in deadeye if you instantly cancel it you can throw flashbang and almost immediately shoot.
7:59 that HS hitbox though wow. . .
esports ready
so thats why rag tagg hates hanzo
fun fact, hanzo and genji are tied for the smallest hit-reg projectiles in the game.
@@Granolie interesting.
The other bind however, is better at getting you more distance and height from each jump, which is useful for climbing terrain and is especially useful in fights for dodging damage.
confirmed: Hammond's mines has baby hamsters inside that triggers inspire
Can we appreciate the hit box on the Hanzo tip in the slow mo from the widows perspective
At this point you might as well just make a 1 tip for every hero part 2 series
I am just gonna share this info with you for mercy, since the mercy tip here is extremely hard to pull off. If you are standing on ground and fly to a teammate, but instead press CROUCH and Guardian Angel at the same time, you can get insane amounts of upward momentum by cancelling it at the end of the guardian angel animation, where you get pushed up in the air slightly. This can be super useful to jump off a teammate and fly upwards into the air, so you can reach a Widowmaker you couldn't usually fly to and heal said widow.
Yip and there a lot of workshops specifically to practice the dash
Sombra's translocater was not able to remove the anti-nade effect though, so it's able to cancel ALL effects now? Great!
Bastion be like: Remember kids, switching to your secondary is faster then reloading
Do hero tips for every map next please
Another tech for Symmetra is to use launch your turrets at a Roadhog to prevent getting hooked. Same thing with other projectiles.
the sym tip was actually faunded by Hoshizora
Ya.
@C U Next Tuesday yes very
i wanted to note, with the winston tech you can't actually jump off the high ground, otherwise, your landing will be loud regardless. you need to walk off the high ground and hold crouch/jump key while falling to avoid the sound. still works if you're already crouching prior to walking off, but no pressing jump key til you've started falling.
Good ol Hanzo arrows flying a metre above hitbox and getting headshots
I was like "where is that arrow going?" has it got a hot date or something, decided to go see it's partner for some sweet lovin'? oh no wait.....it just to decided to right turn suddenly and hit widow in the head haha.
Hanzo's arrows have a slight dropoff, the first time i saw that I was like "what the hell is that arrow" but then I realized
Man I was really hoping they would talk about mercy’s super jump
Sourhersheys it's already very common by now, I think it'll be *yawn* to put here.
11:14 I swear it doesn't clear Ana's anti nade when I play sombra
yeah I always place mine on a healthpack and I have to wait for antiheal to wear off before I roll out again
They recently made it more consistent across abilities. It used to clear some but not others, now it does
It always did for me when I anti'd, feels very bad
You make more damage with D.va when you shoot while using your missles. Noticed this a few days ago.

EVERY ONE
THE ORISA TIP HAS BEEN PATCHED
This tip has been patched....
For the mercy tip you can do mercy’s super jump but when you are going up you push your backwards movement binding.
This was extremely fun to do and I hope to be a part of the filming process in future tip videos!
I thought everybody knew the bastion trick. Yelp, there goes my edge.
Ok now I want a compilation of zens dodging one shots this way
Some of these were actually useful, such as the one with torb. Thank you!
I use Wrecking Ball's Blender by grappling the side of the hole in the middle of the Oasis University Point.
that's smart
obscure indeed. I’m glad I know some of these tips before.
The soldier one broke my mind
17:09 THANK YOU. YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MAD I GET WHEN I SEE OTHER MOIRAS WASTE THEIR HEALING WHEN THEY HOLD IT FOR SO LONG
What about 1 trick for each hero on each map.
(It will be a long and interesting serie)
yes
dis vid was on my recommended for so longgg~ always thought the thumbnail looked like a wolf in the dst. and I only realized it was rein like 5 min ago
Tfw you've played since launch and only knew maybe half these tips xD Great video! You and Jayne should do more content together
About McCree, if i'm not mistaken there is an animation cancel with the ult. If you activate the ult an then shoot/cancel it (i don't exactly remember), and instantly throw your stun, your character won't use his arm, and the stun will come directly from your body. It can be useful to surprise-stun people.
7:12 “peenalized”
Don't forget that Zarya's shield can "clean" your teammate from an enemy's debuff like ana's grenade.
2nd point is ana can heal the Baptiste's "imortallity shield" with normal shot.
It could be usefull to know that :)
Ana can't heal the immortality field. It count's as a solid object and will absorb the shot but the lamp does not get healed.
@@Ayakinim she can. just try with friends ;)
this is gonna be a fantastic video, 2 of my favourite people from the overwatch community.
Other heros: How to dodge Widow.
Widow: How to beat other Widows.
I used the widowmaker tip a few times today and it actually saved me from a few deaths in a sniper duel, really useful tip!
I found out about the zarya jumping on accident and do it every time lol
I'm a ana main and i was so hyped for the tip and this is what i got
The bastion tip is like the old fps tip, "switching to your secondary is often times faster than reloading"
I've gotta try the Hammond one, I'm looking to play him more in ranked and I believe I'm good with him, not to mention, that looked absolutely hilarious to do
spin for the win.
Zenyatta can melee during his secondary fire and still shoot all of the orbs he charged up
Noice
Dude I'm pretty bad at overwatch but I managed to turn punch and 180 towards a full team then seismic slam to get like 2 kills and I felt like a god
24 shot mc cree.... Why did you open this pandora box?
OMG the venom mine trick....
the mercy bounce works similarly to a df bounce. in jumping forwards and pressing backward, you're inputting two different momentum vector groups: backward and jumping forwards. But whe u GA, u cancel the forwards momentum and replace it with GA momentum. In canceling the GA and sort of bouncing off the friendly hitbox, you add backward motion with GA backward bounce, moving you back.
