    "MAKE EVERY MOMENT COUNT" - What does it mean??? - For us it is about taking each day, each moment and enjoying it for what it is, the present. We try to not live in the past, or worry about the future, when you do that you lose the moment that you are in and then its gone, never to return. If we stay caught in that trap then the magic of life and love will pass us by. No matter where you are, make a conscious decision, a conscious effort to enjoy every second for what it is...in the present.

    1. Provide customer service (eg, deliver RV in excellent condition) to get 5 Star Reviews. 2. Clean RV, fully stocked it (eg, coffee maker, towels). 3. Educate your renters on all operations/features. 4. Have correct insurance (rental insurance). 5. Be willing to put the work in. This is not passive income.

    There is definitely a difference of opinion on providing bedding. Some will only do it as an add on charge, and others said that they wouldn't do it because they found a lot of people wnat to bring their own bedding.

    Found your video and it’s good information. I’m a nurse as well and I’ve been considering the RV rental business after getting a 5th wheel for travel nursing

    Can you make a video on any wear/tear or random things you've had to fix/replace just due to renting out the RV?

    Great video. Are you still in the game? I’ve been camping for 30 years I’ve been wanting to do this. Do you think it’s still a good thing? And do you think it’s best to just go out and buy a nice used camper first or is it beneficial to buy something brand new?

      Hey there and thanks for watching. We are still RVing but not renting anymore. The only reason we aren’t is that it became very busy and almost like a 3rd full time job. But if you do it right, you can make money. As far as new or used. Usually I would tell you to buy new, don’t ever pay msrp because dealers have a lot of wiggle room and you have warranties and such. But currently it is a weird market due to recent events and the used market is beginning to get flooded with very slightly used models. So I definitely would look used first right now.

    Anyone rent their toy hauler.....and included, or have an option to include, the toy? (Motorcycle, side by side, quad's)

    • @HomeOnTheHitch
      @HomeOnTheHitch  Рік тому

      Haven’t ever seen anyone rent the “toys”. I suppose there would be some insurance and liability issues with that. But plenty of people rent the toy haulers

    Did you ever rent it outside of RVShare? I just listed my RV on RVShare and I dont want to rent it outside of it, but I was wondering how bad it would be. Or if it isnt really that bad.

      Hey there and thank you for watching please consider subscribing!! So we never did, we had numerous return customers who wanted to but we just never did because if something happens and they destroy it you have no leg to stand on. My advice is to do all of your communication and rentals through RV Share. That way you are covered. They have the contracts in place, they require certain things from the renters before they can rent. It just covers your six. So in short I would advise you to not rent outside of RV Share.

    What percentage of the time is your RV rented out?

    • @HomeOnTheHitch
      @HomeOnTheHitch  Рік тому +1

      Hello , we don’t rent anymore because of different jobs and life changes but when we did it was very busy. Once we got started with it our RV was rented out ever week. Pretty much anytime we were not using it
