In the early 70s I walked across this bridge many times. The views were Fantastic! Especially down to the water as this is a deep channel with very fast rip-currents.
Sunrise and sunset from the same spot on the Bridge. 2 of my friends worked to remove the sections of bridge out. Huge crane that tipped once. What Fun!!!!!
I drove to the Keys on some of the old roads like the old 7 Mile Bridge with a camper. Serious white=knuckle driving. Some very narrow roads.

It’s a disgrace I tell ‘ya.
