I hate the lack of articulation ! See, the kids won't care as much, but as you show here, us doll collectors like to pose them in different cute poses that actually shows expression & personality. It's art to us. I'm glad I got almost all the dolls I want. But it will be sad if we don't get some adult dolls.

I'm not supporting the RH Rebrand dolls. What made me fall in love with Rainbow High was mainly Shadow High and the Storm Twins. Despite not normally being a completionist, I have 36 SH dolls, including 3 sets of Storm Twins, as well as a custom doll car that I made of the Storm Twins' Jeep. Compared to my SH collection, my RH collection of only 20 dolls is extremely incomplete, and I mainly get the ones that I really like their clothes or like as base dolls. I will definitely be focusing on filling in the gaps in my original RH collection and getting SH duplicates from now on, and this Rebrand has literally made me feel depressed! MGA got rid of what made SH and RH special for me, and this Rebrand literally hurts to watch!🖤💜😞
Imma tell y'all why parents are not buying RH, it's all the hair that becomes a rats nest and the clothes that don't fit well. Adding slime and less articulation will not help! The slime is basically glue, that hardens on clothes when it dries 😑🤷♀️ no clue why MGA thinks it's going to help. Parents buy toys, not kids...Duhh 😂 the Adult Doll collectors should be their target. Not 4 yr olds with no money.

I think I will buy Sunny and Violet from the swim line so I can use their heads for other dolls lol...but other than that, it's looking a bit sad out there...
Yeah, the Violet swim line has a nice head and I was thinking of switching it out with my Costume Ball Violet who came loaded with factory defects. Plus the Swim Line Violet has a hair part and CB doesn't.
I like the new faces more. The old one looks weird now. I do hope it comes new dolls and not all of them comes with slime. I think she is the best skyler ever :) and im not a Skyler fan. HEY! we dont know anything if we will get more dolls that are more like the older ones.. give us new ones pls. I love SUNNY, POPPY and JADE.

I have collected the entire collection of rainbow high and i love them so much..but all good things come to an end..I will go back to collecting disney and monster high and I will be loving my current rainbow high dolls....and I will be following you because I love your review so please. don't go anywhere 😊...merry chrismas
I believe the spirit of what we grew to love from RH will continue with Storywood Tales. MGA aren't morons, they've never backed down from Mattel. Obviously this rebrand won't be able to compete with MH, as such MGA will use Storywood as their fighting force against MH. Also I think the thought of juggling Rainbow High, Shadow High, and Storywood Tales probably became too overwhelming for MGA. They basically rebranded RH for the younger demographic & did away with Shadow High as a brand. However Shadow High isn't over yet, basically it's elements have most likey merged with and will continue with Storywood Tales. Don't forget about Scarlet Rose, this character obviously has some significant ties to Storywood. In the end it's a win win for both sides, I mean I've seen that as time went on the older fans were preferring Shadow High over Rainbow High anyway. If you think about it this leaves room for them to be more experimentational with Storywood Tales as it's demographic will be aimed at older kids to adults, where as with Rainbow High they can play it safe and stick to what kids like. When Storywood Tales comes out however we adult fans cannot let them down. Support the brand in any way you can, buy the dolls at retail if you can to show that you truly like them. Obviously this is assuming that the dolls have the articulation and fashion of OG Rainbow High, of which I have a feeling they will. You just watch and see how things unfold, remember this comment in a few months. Don't say I didn't tell you.😉
Well, I all happy about three things. I like the faces, the molds are still pretty. The beautiful nylon hair and lashes are still present so I’m happy about that. Lastly, I’m very happy about having stands, series 5 tweens had me kinda worried. Overall I’m still just absolutely crushed by this reboot.
I can see new/current adult collectors enjoying them in many ways. They’re very cute. And honestly I may or may not buy 1 or 2 of them. Just depends. I don’t want/need a bunch of core rainbow high dolls

I wish they could just listen to fans and fix it. I've heard people praising good dolls. Why can't RH just... I know it's hard. But if anyone could do it, let your true colours shine could. And I'm gutted they wouldn't bat for us. 😢

I never liked the original series 1 dolls. Or series 2 much.. So, I'm glad if they're gonna take dolls & ruin them, glad it was these. Like they can slime these & push them into Rainbow World....but please give us adults some more dolls too !
Skyler was my first wave 1 RH doll ! I think they sift release her because blue is the most popular color. I’m only gonna get Ruby because red’s my favorite color

If they are following Mattel with Barbie, I’m sure they do not care. Sad. Soon they’ll backtrack the dolls completely and focus on pets.
