She's soooo mother, I'm always impressed with how they've managed to make the S1 face mould so fresh n beautiful, as compared to their initial releases in 2020.
They really perfected that mug on them og sculpt girls
I bought the house because I love having them in a posted in a scene so this was meant for me!! So cute I’m already planning on making space in the house for her stuff.
Now what business did you have planting THAT particular image in my head. Now I want to do the same thing but I prefer my dolls on shelves lmao
i actually really like this set. As a creative/sewist, it really speaks to me. It also helps that I've been a Skyler stan since day one. Really pretty doll. I lover her. I agree that she's the prettiest Skyler released so far. I do certainly agree that this set was designed with kids in mind...sort of. Lots of pieces, lots of play value...but i can already see half of the small accessories getting lost after day one of play. And the accessories are so detailed! I think they're great for people who do doll photography or like to set up dioramas with their dolls. Idk. I'll definitely be getting this set, but i do understand why this set wouldn't appeal to everyone. I do think the price is fair in terms of everything you're getting...but did anyone besides me ask for a set like this?

Maybe the extra fabric will show up on eBay. Some of it is gorgeous
Imagine if it had included the fabric, real pins and one of those little sewing kits with a needle and selection of threads? But oh no, too dangerous!
It's a great set, no doubt those pens will easily get lost. So far this Skyler is my favourite and the darker lip colour is perfect on her. The cup opens. It is quite tight but the lid will come off.
Prettiest Skyler yet! I love how her bodysuit and shoes have her name on them, it’s so cute.
I wish her sewing machine was blue to match Skylers aesthetics. There are already so many of them, not another white one.
I'm not sure about the mannequin play feature, but I like the furniture and accessories. I wish it had also included a simple wearable dress, preferably not a blue one, so kids could pretend like she made something and it'd be an extra outfit.
I love these as background props!
This is such a cool set. There are so many props I could use in my doll photos.

Btw, I have Scarlet and her cup does open, I assume it’s the same sculpt so Skyler’s probably opens too!!

I sew and craft so this play set us for me! I love all her little accessories.
I really hope this doesn't mean Skyler is the winner of Project Runway. I really hope it is a newer character because otherwise it would feel like new characters are only ever side characters.
She's pretty, but def waiting for a sale! Her FF doll however I will be picking up ASAP
This playset is for me! It reminds me of fashion school! Def want, though I'll probably wait for a sale. I was already freaking out over the fact this playset comes with 2 pairs of scissors (presumably one for paper, and for fabric), but to find out they actually open and close. This is the kind of detail that makes me love Rainbow High. Also dig all the extra art supplies. Skyler herself is ok. Her face is pretty, but her hair and outfit are ok. Runway Skyler is probably my fave doll of hers. All in all very excited for this to come out!
They should have at least came with some sorth of trunk or container for the accessories because of how many and how small they are , people will probably loos some peices by just opening the box😅
And also just a little nitpick they gave her a cutting mat but not a rotary cutter 😅
That part. The amount of times I dropped something while filming and couldn't find it for ages.

I thought the rotary cutter was that gold thing, the circle with the spikes on a stick.
@@linphillips8331it think that the tool that you use to push the fabric thru the mannequin, that's why the mannequin has holes
It's a crime that you don't have more subs Ms. Boudolly, the way you're just so effortlessly funny (iconic honestly). This Skyler's face & make-up is FLAWLESS but that price is a NO, not to mention that the outfit is a bit simple. Btw did MGA spoil the Project Rainbow winner? I find it suspicious that she's wearing SB (Skyler Bradshaw) branded clothes. That's usually the prize on Project Runway, $100,000 to start your own design line. I guess it makes sense to release a playset featuring the winner now rather than later, especially if the rumors of RH soft rebooting are true. Anyhow props to them for doing such detailed accessories but besides handbags & cellphones, I really don't care for most accessories. Also the gimmick with making a dress on the mannequin is quite silly, as I assume that kids would want the dolls to wear their creations. Can't wait to see what you make with those fabrics though. I got this kit at walmart for 50 dollars today and it is worth it with all the stuff and little details. I don't like the shirt bodysuit thing she comes with though. other than that I recommend it.

I mean is it technically a spoiler if you don’t find out till the finale episode even if this is a hint it isn’t comforted and you’re still left guessing lol
Thank you for the detailed review! I've ordered her and I am looking forward to her arrival even more eagerly now. She is definitely right up my alley. I love sewing for dolls and I think all of the little extras are amazing. But I am getting her for $50 US dollars, I don't know if i would have bought her at the price you had to pay

If it’s $75 that would not be good! Noooo! Lol but I don’t think the currency exchange sounds right. All the dolls lately have about a five dollar difference. So if you paid roughly $55, they should probably be about $50USD. Hopefully 🤞🏽

I'm conflicted about this set. The idea for this set is to get kids to design their own doll clothes for their dolls. So the appeal is the fabric. Everything else is just cute accessories. The fabric looks like 7 by 7 inches squares, which would make nice doll dresses. And the patterns are to doll scale. However fat squares are 99 cents at Walmart and this set is 60 dollars. I'm pretty sure the sticker shock associated with that price tag would make parents aware of the cheaper alternative.
I know my mom never would have bought me this when I was a kid. She would have told me that if I want to make doll clothes we can just go to the craft store and pick out fabric for a fraction of the price.
99 cents a fabric square? Where? Here in Canada it's 4$ for one fabric square.
@@saragreenfire4515 Unless they went up in price, Walmart. they don't have a lot of patterns but if you aren't picky, they have them for pretty cheap. I live in the US though.

Is this possibly the down fall of RH. Dont get me wrong Skylar is gorgeous but for the price, no thank you. I feel like this might be the beginning of the end of RH
