    Stevie Ray Vaughan's soul, came out in his music. He wasn't like any other performer! Stevie is greatly missed, and will continue to be missed by akl that loved him. Thank God for the time we all had, watching him do what he did best. Huge talent, and a humble man.💖

    I've stood on the spot on stage at Alpine Valley where Stevie stood, and I've seen the spot where he died. To this day it breaks my heart that he was taken from us. I can't even begin to imagine what else he would have done. He is the greatest guitar player I have ever heard, bar none. The good Lord blessed this man with incredible talent. I really miss him.

    He did his sound check for around 200 people and we cheered so loud he did the blown away bit with his hand waving his hair back , He wound up playing for about a half hour and it was amazing

    His entire countenance is so different without the influence of alcohol. He looks so much better, and sounds so much happier!! It is so sad that he could not have lived out a long life in this condition. I hope he is happy wherever he is now.

    Near the end of the interview Stevie was asked to look ahead a year or 18 months, he replied that he was living in the minute. Great reply and it lets us know he was getting the most out of his life at the time. Little did we know that he would be gone a bit less than a year later. I'm rarely moved by the death of famous people, but Stevie's death hit me hard, like it hit many.

      I Think It Was Amaze Him Too - The Man DEFINED Humility!! Stevie Had A LOT More Special About Him Than His Music - And Even If They Can't Define What It Exactly WAS About Him That Was SO Special - It Came Thru To EVERYBODY! 😘SRV🎸

      LIVING IN THE MOMENT - THIS ONE RIGHT NOW Is What Finding Freedom From Substance Abuse & CHOOSING NOT To Hand Over Control Of Your BODY Or Your LIFE To Them IS ALL ABOUT!! Stevie Was SO READY For What The 12-Step Way Of Life Taught Him & Offered Him - What It STILL Offers To ANYONE ELSE Who Wants To Get Free Of Drugs, Alcohol, Or Other Addictions That Have Us ALL Running From Life & From Ourselves At One Time Or Another! He Must Have Known Bill W. In Another Life (Right, Stevie?☺)....Stevie Was An A+++ Student In His Recovery & Desire To Be The Man He Was BORN To Be - Which Drugs & Alcohol Covered Up & Tried SO Hard To Kill! Then He Took It To The Even HIGHER Level & SHARED His Experience, Strength & Hope With Others....When He Said He Cared About Those STILL SUFFERING In The Grips Of Addiction Or In Any Way - HE REALLY MEANT THAT!! It's A Prayer - A Spiritual Thing....Stevie Was A Very Caring Man Who Used His Celebrity In A Very Special Way & I Love Him For That Even More Than For His Music! He Is So VERY Missed In This Earth Plane But I FEEL Him Every Time I Hear His Music Or Hear Him Speak On Tape...He Is Still With Us Because We Carry On The Love He Shared With Us! His Message Was Not Wasted!! GO Play Those Angels Some Badass Blues, Stevie! It's Time For A JAM!!!❤🎸😘💞😉🙏

    I'm Still Workin' My Program & The Steps, Stevie - Coming Up On Year 19 On April 8th - One Day @ A Time - & I Always Think Of You On May 13! Like I Told You, I Never Knew Anyone Else Who Got 12Step Stuff Quite Like You Did - & Then Payed It Forward! You Helped SO Many Other People Struggling To Even Recognize Their Addictions...They Remember Your Compassion, Your Genuine Caring & Your Kind Heart....I Still Really Miss You All These Years Later - Especially @ Red Rocks! It Was Time For Your Soul To Move On😢.... But You Are With Us In Your Music! Soul💞Soul, Stevie💗😘

    I hope there is an afterlife just so I can see SRV & Hendrix play together.
    No 2 other musicians,or human beings, are more skilled at their craft, are more humble & genuine & give more honest interviews. To see a virtuoso play like they’re tapped into the cosmos then see their other side, their personal side only to discover that they’re just as great a person as a player is something extremely special & rare.

      The choice on afterlife is yours, there is only 2. Heaven or hell, if you want to know Jesus. Just ask Him , walking the tightrope is dangerous. SRV found him when his back was against the wall as I myself did.

    Seen Srv and double trouble in the early 80’s before they were well known. Only about 1,500 people were there. If srv was still here today, they would play before millions if the stadium was big enough. Never has been or will be another like him.

    • @3SeveredHeads
      @3SeveredHeads 3 роки тому +2

      Never a truer word said!
      Id even say he cudve been on a par with Elvis (if Elvis had been tragically killed in a plane or anytype of accident just after his first few hits...no one wouldve known the king & all that came after!!) Same with Stevie...we only are left wondering what if ☹ Both were very similar: unique sound, could sing/play anything...took it to the max, very humble & giving - not divas like many....all live raw heart & soul touching on another level...transcending to another realm whilst giving their all for their audience & staying true to themselves....these are the only 2 i never ever tire of watching (another similarity...great mesmerising stage presence) and listening to.
      RIP ELVIS & SRV....in another league. 💞🥰🙏

      I Was Blessed To Have Seen Stevie @ Red Rocks 3 Different Times Over His Short Touring Career - The Venue Itself Is AMAZING & The Acoustics INDESCRIBABLE!! Stevie Ray & Double Trouble Made Red Rocks Even MORE Special! When I Listen To Him Now - Especially Certain Songs - It Takes Me Right Back There On A Clear Summer Night In The Thin Colorado Air....I Can Still See Stevie Getttin' His Blues On With Bonnie Raitt, BB King & Robert Cray - Wearing His Native Headress! He Just GLOWED In That!! And I STILL Remember Hearing Reese On Keyboards When He First Joined Double Trouble - INCREDIBLE!! Stevie Knew Where To Take His Music & His Band - He Had The Best Ear For Talent - Horns Were Going To Be Next, & His Tour With Brother Jimmie...😢.....Thank God They Finished Recording "Family Style" Just Before......I Can't Be Thankful Enough For These Memories, Stevie Ray!! I Miss You SO Much!❤
