Low quality riders and trainers rely on these sorts of tactics to get by quite often. Purposely riding horses into 4th over inadequate trips. One of his horses once had 00060 as its form numbers, beat on average about 7l, mark back down to 50 having been up as high 59... down to 50 in a 0-55 with a 3lb claimer on board, back at Southwell on the AW, 1m4f,, 25/1,, winning marks of 51 and 54 round there... so laying it is a no no.. it absolutely pissed in by 10l eased down at the line.. people went ballistic about it on the forums... not realising Bowring is a mucky cunt.
The only race that I thought stunk was when triple dip got beat at 1/20 remember one thing people the season before a certain mr mark Johnstone had about 130 losers on the spin hard to believe but true check it out so there was fortunes traded on this race people love a short skinny for lumps what a way to be a layer if u knew next time out the horse won at bath hard held please check it out incredible but true
Irish is more honest?? Lol what a joke. Aiden O’Brien the worst of them all. Only have to look at the amount of times his supposed 1st string loses to his own 2nd, 3rd, 4th string. And that includes group races as well. It doesn’t just happen in minor races. I’ve seen enough racing to know when a jockey is genuinely trying and when he isn’t. Same can apply to Jim Bolger and Dermot Weld as well. Maybe more so in minor races with those two because they don’t have the fire power.
Good ole Betfair Eddie. The best judge of all when it came to laying horses to lose on Betfair. In fact I think if memory seves correctly he also rode them as well. Was hugely successful at it for years until it became an obvious embarrassment to the industry.

Just watched this race not sure what he done wrong ?? the winner went off just as fast as Judgethemoment and was in 2nd place all the way round, about 3 to 6 l behind for most of the race. he took it up stayed on best and won. Are they saying Aherne did not ride his mount out ??

Spencer cost me 1850 one Friday night the year he shared the jockeys title, 200 double with a Dermot Weld horse at Dundalk, Welds horse won at 9/4 going on Spencer at 2/1, 5 runner race, horse won his previous 2 from the front, dropped him second, 5 furlong sprint, tracked the leader off the home bend, let the 2nd fav, come from two lengths down, go passed, let him go two lengths clear, then chased him down, result beaten short head, in another great example of the great Spencer and his cheating, never forgave him,
the only good thing apparently is about horse racing its apparent BIAST there seems to be too many tricks to with jockeys being banned or disqualified the only good outcome is about horse racing is simply do not bet on it
Watch the claimer race, 2.30 Dundalk, Friday 20 March 2020 for, in my and many others opinion, an obvious fix. Trainer had two in the race for the same owner. Yuftan was 2/5 fav in early betting and 17lb clear on the formbook of his next highest rated rival, stable companion and early 2nd favourite, Tony The Gent, who in turn was 10lb clear of the rest of the field. Both had form/run well over the distance. The latter had been unlucky in his previous race. So a two horse race on paper where the Yuftan should beat his stable companion into 2nd by at least 8 lengths, who in turn should be 5 lengths ahead of the 3rd. It's not like there were a lot of runners to cause problems in running... By the start of this race, one could see what was going to happen as it had now become obvious. Yuftan had drifted out to 6/4 2nd fav whilst Tony The Gent had been backed to odds-on, 10/11 Fav. The race itself also attracted the attention of many, including the stewards whom have referred the matter to the IHRB. Yuftan was slowly away and held up at the back of the field. On the turn for home, where the cut away is, a wide gap appeared but jockey did not take that route but tried to go through the pack and got hampered several times. In the final filing a gap appeared and Yuftan went through but was not hard ridden into 2nd place. I observe many times where trainers and runners, and/or owners second string beat their more fancied, usually higher rated, runners. And these are in non- handicaps. But the issue has got worse, especially in Ireland where, in my opinion, it happens frequently with interconnected famiy connections now. When racing resumes I may just ignore races where there are connections. Because of my work, under normal circumstances, I place my bets the night before so am usually unaware of any unusual activity. I'd rather miss a winner than be turned over by a fixed race. The stewards have to be more aware and not afraid to issue justice. Just because it happens with some high profile names does not mean they should ignore the circumstances. Though I agree they need strong evidence. I remember back in the 1970s and 1980s certain trainers and jockeys were often interviewed. I am looking forward to the IHRB findings into the Yuftan race.

Barney curley`s Horses runnning like this all the time after a long layoff .you never know what the order was from the trainer ! like go out blaze the trail and don`t be hard on him if he is tired . This horse hadn't run well for 2 years, getting beat by a mile in most races. Its wins had been when making the running so it was the only way to ride the horse. It only ran once again and was well beat. If anyone backed it then more fool them!

sorry mate but didnt go off that mad set a good pace ,if it was such a serious pace how come the rest finished so strong and weren't out on there legs because unless i watched diffrent race they werent that strung out .and have we heard what trainers orders were dont think so ,all to often the jockeys are riding to there orders

I have seen many rides like this horse goes from the front until tired that`s it. Barney curley`s Horses runnning like this all the time after a long layoff .you never know what the order was from the trainer ! like go out blaze the trail and don`t be hard on him if he is tired . I thing ruin somebody career for this not really agree with it .Kieron Fallon`s ride on Bollinger ridge was much more a disgrace I thing and he did not get 10 years !!

Many tipsters must work for the layers. In the daily star Saturday pull out they use a certain 'tipster'. He seems to be a larger then life character. What he really is, is the worst tipster in the world, that is unless you're laying the odds.

This horse hadn't run well for 2 years, getting beat by a mile in most races. Its wins had been when making the running so it was the only way to ride the horse. It only ran once again and was well beat. If anyone backed it then more fool them!
