I hate the new movement. It looks like they tried to de-gamify the jumping. A lot of games allow you to control the character horizontally while midair, which is completely unrealistic. In Stormworks, the change has entirely removed that. However, this is something that consistently feels terrible across games, because not only do players have less control than they're used to, and less control than is needed for basic movements, they have less control than they would have in real life. Humans can jump at precise angles and powers and run into a jump at precise speeds, but with current technology it's not possible for games to capture that.

Love it! Please do make a video on the new walking system, whenever you in the air you cant control you charecter and its made so many of my vehicles very dificult to use as I dont use real stairs sometimes so when you cant get momentum on one block you end up just jumping up not going forwards!
This game kept crashing on me. I'd be playing along and then I'd get a weird error message and all the missions would glitch. turn up for the mission and it wouldn't activate. Have they fixed it? I loved the game but it was ruined by this.
I went back to play the game but it is still bad for me. I got a boat witha 3x3 modular engine with a radiator with 2 pumps per cylinder and still overheats, it suck so much I wish they fix that

Irl you cant somehow change your momentum, or direction without any gear when airborne after the jump

What is your RPS at? Heat in modular engines is based on fuel throttle position
