Just stumbled upon this video, and I’ve been thinking of getting the oneplus pad and not the oneplus pad go for school, since it seems to have an amazing performance for a low budget.. But will I be able to run this tablet for a long time without any concern? An honest answer would be much appreciated.

Hi! Hard to say. Performance wise I´d say you´ll be able to use them for quite a few years for normal tasks (both the Pad and Pad Go). The somewhat low years of promised Android upgrades and security fixes (2 years and two years) on the Pad Go is however a bit of a warning sign when it comes to longevity. There might be more updates, but those are what´s been "promised". The normal bad has a year longer promised updates on both instances but was also released almost a year ago. My guess though is that both tablets will be perfectly fine to use for the next 4-5 years without much issues. Android apps are also a little more forgiving to older OS-versions compared to iPads where they literally won't install at all if the OS version is too low. // Chris

Thanks alot for the reply:) I’m going to most likely buy it cause I’ll only be using it for school, and the issue with no security updates after a while is fine for me I guess.. I do ALOT not so allowed stuff on my phone too and I’m very cautious, so I think it will be fine :P The main priority for me was the smooth usage even after a long time.

Hi and thank you! Hm, I would say it depends on your OS-preferences. The 10:th gen iPads A14 chip is probably a bit snappier and if you´re already in the Apple eco system I´d say go for that. However, if you prefer Android then the Pad Go is nice. Specially also if you do want the LTE capabilities that does come _a lot_ cheaper than what it does on the iPad. // Chris

@@harshitmalhotra11 If you are not downloading a huge amount of apps (mainly games that can be really large in size) and use mostly streaming services I´d say that 64 GB is enough. However Apple should definitely start their products at 128 GB regardless, but that is a whole other story :-) // Chris

It is indeed a really neat tablet :-) However the iPad isn't bad either, a little depending on version though. The older ones are definitely starting to become a little slower. // Chris
