Have A Great Shave, Have A Great Day!
Geo.
I love these videos. Geo just has such a damn happy and positive vibe. Just puts me in a good mood watching these.
You hit the nail on the head!! In my line of work I have a lot of stress filled aggravating days at work and when I do I come home watch his videos and just feel better!!
MMarlow
Thanks much!

It's just me being me!
Glad you enjoy it!
I never even thought of buying single blade razors before watching your videos. It certainly makes the lining up much easier...!
Matt Cafaro
Single blade, much easier than multi-blades for lining up.
The silver in your beard is making you look wise Geo! A little like the Obiwan Kenobi of the shaving world....Or maybe Yoda if your ears were bigger.
bigblueaquarium
Lolz... I am your Father Luke!
Love the Star Wars references!
I'll pin the ears down if they grow too much!
OMG! I was looking for something else and found this video! you are extremely good looking! you made my day! Thank you!! I never like to watch guys shaving themselves.. but you!? I can watch you all day! Thx!
Another great video. Thanks Geo for all your time and effort. these videos really do make a difference. Happy to finally see the Merkur mustache trimmer in action. I was curious about that one.
THE GMAN
You GMan! Wassup...
Looks like I neglected this video.
Geo you are the man. Thanks for all the videos. Straight and Safety Razor's are nice, but the beard actually looks cool bro.
mayito8581
Thanks, It's fun to mix it up!
Amazing video!
I had no idea about that tiny Merkur blade, I'll have to get one of those.
Thanks for putting this info out for all to absorb!
Ah man just get an open comb gillette and clean that thing up! Just kidding! Looks great trimmed up. Thanks for covering so many tools in the video! Your shave vids are great quality!
Deadbuck73
Lolz! Thanks.
Welcome back Geo. great video. I've been waiting for the beard grooming video for a long time. How about a grooming video for a handlebar mustache? That would be cool. Nice haircut btw. Is like to sport that style.
Antonio Armijo
That's one thing I've never had, a handle bar stache.. I wonder how long it would take to grow one? Maybe next winter...
Well, another great video. Nice and informative, but I was waiting for you to whip out the grinder, since you showed one in one of your FB posts
Bill James
I think that grinder wound up on the cutting room floor...
Sorry.
Might try this next time. I was growing out my beard this November and since my growth is light on my cheeks, I had a hard time determining where my DE razor was cutting, and I screwed up my line so I just hacked the entire thing off. Luckily, I don't miss it. No beard, no itch. Plus, shaping a beard is a real pain. The growth on my cheeks basically fuses into my eyebrows if I don't trim it off.
Keep makin' them vids ! Cheers Geo !

You got it Bro!
hi there. after watching a number of your excellent videos I've decided to give straight razor shaving a go. any tips for someone who has not wet shaved for over 10 years and only trims his beard with whal clippers?
Watch some more of my videos on whichever type of razor you choose to use. Then give it a go! Best way to learn is by jumping right in.
Done deal 👍 actually picked up a few items from Taylors of Old Bond Street in London on Friday. Not used them yet. Ploughing through your content to make sure I know all I can. Love the videos, keep 'em coming 👊
The mecca of wet shaving... I want to go to there! (Tina Fey) Thanks for watching the vids and I hope they help!
Love the vids Geo. Get my EJ DE89 Saturday, can't wait to start DE shaving - all thanks to your great instructional videos! One question, do you recommend any pre-shave facewashes? I have fairly sensitive skin which tends to dry out with the harsher soaps/facewashes.
TheDanzilla7
See below.
I like the beard trimmer you used.
Allah Shita
Thanks!
Would you consider demonstrating trimming a mustache just above the upper lip using a straight razor please.
Balrog304
Check out my other UA-cam videos. I demonstrate what you are asking.
Thank you Geo, appreciate all the tips.
love the videos, I am going to be ordering a safety razor very soon.
One queston, can you describe how to create the line from the sideburns between the burn and the ear? I have seen many variations of angled or straight, and need some tips as I only have a single mirror.
Adam Kozlowski
Find some pics on the net that you like. Just form yours the same way.
Hey Geo your thoughts on getting a line through deep beard by bringing the straight down @ 90 degrees to your skin, like u did under your nose, and then scooping out. Better line thru all the depth of hair. I do it with the shavette al la 'coup de maitre' under my nose and my top lip. HOVEVER!!! Just got my first HHT passing straight so eager to learn before slicing myself bad. But why didn't you do this for your top lip with your straights? Too dangerous?
Whatever!
Not sure I'm understanding your question...
Hi Geo, what Razor do you prefer, the Feather Nape?? or the Shavette Dreadnought?? the shavette uses those thin, Flimsy, double edge blades, are the feather nape blades thicker??? are they wire free?? would the feather be a good compromise to the Artist Club Feather??
Karl Buttler
The Feather Artist Club shavettes are the Cream of the Crop!
Hi Geo, I would like the Feather Artist Club to be my next razor purchase..:-)
Loving the videos Geo!
+Max Troy
Thanks Max!
Gillette series shave gel is fine
Hi Geo,
Just a quick question...
It looks like at some points you are holding your DE razor almost perpendicular to your face. How is it that you don't get irritation that way? If my razor angle is just slightly too deep I'll get instant razor burn!
Rob Ninedot
maybe it's just the angle of the camera...
I have a question or two. Do you have a video that demonstrates how to shave your head bald? If not, would you mind doing that?
T Dean
Sorry, I don't Check out Thomas from Denmark's videos. He will show you how.
The god of shaving.
Nice beard I wish I could have a beard like that
Great video Geo!! Thanks
Vann Thanks Vann... late reply, I know.
What are the names of the straight razors and where can I purchase? Thanks in advance for your response.

@geofatboy I've been a user of a Merkur safety razor for over a year now and I'm thinking about switching to eventually using a straight razor. I'd like to start by using a shavette first and would like to know what you recommend the best type is for someone with sensitive skin. my skin gets cut very easy and it took me a while to get a perfect shave with a safety razor without cutting myself. I would hate to go through that experience with a shavette and would like to know what your recommendation was for me. Thanks in advance
Semir Bajrektarevic
Feather shavettes are the best, but if you're on a budget, try the Parker, Dreadnought, or Dovo. All will get the job done for you. Then switch to a traditional straight when you feel comfortable with it. www.shavenation.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=303_10
Interesting Rob Zombie thing you got going there! But the clean shaven Geo looks ten years younger. New video needed - Bandana Man casts off Grizzly Adams to the swirly abyss.
Bob Burrell
Sounds like a plan Bob. Thanks!
I do it with a safety razer
Miss your beard
Looks like a Riker beard. Nice.
shavefan12
Ok, it's a year later, too late to ask... Who's Riker?
William Riker, first officer on the Enterprise in Star Trek the Next Generation!
Thanks Geo

+Abdalrzak Abd
OK...
Neckline is wayyyy too high.
rainbow20112011
Really? I'm gonna yell at my barber!
rainbow20112011 it's not an exact science man, different looks suit different faces. The high neck line looks bad if u have a fat face because it accentuates the division between your jaw and the fat.
+Juanito Alimaña
Thanks Juanito.

Okay...You don't have to agree with me.
I can't force you to be right.
