- Corsair's K63 Wireless Gaming Keyboard with cherry red MX key switches and customizable blue backlight was released in 2018. At the time, it was the first keyboard to be both mechanical and wireless. Is it still worth buying in 2021? In my view, yes! But with some important caveats... This review breaks down all the reasons why I would or wouldn't consider buying now.

Great video! I was thinking of getting this K63. It has a very cool and aggressive look. It still going good after all this time?
I've owned this keyboard for about 2 years now. At first it took some getting used to the height of the keys, but I've used the included wrist rest and it definitely helped. I think the best thing about it is that it has the full size feel, but the tkl design allows for desk real estate. Overall I'm happy with it, but like you mentioned there are more options now so it might not be on everybody's list.

Still using it after 2 years of ownership. Keyboard still functions fine aside from horrid battery degradation. I'm lucky if I can get more than 13 hours of use out of it!
Replace the battery. It's simple and they aren't expensive.

@@thomblank2915 I just purchased a k63 6 months ago so I haven't actually replaced my battery. Maybe I was wrong, but this article let's u know some info about the battery type.

my keybord freezes after turning on and i dont know how to fix it makes playing anything or typing at all ive had to reset it 6 times to type this.

Difficult to say! For the design and feel the Logitech G915 is great (imo), but pricey… I reckon the Corsair K63 is a better deal!
Does it work with xbox series x/s consoles wirelessly?
Yes it works
Bought to use with lap board… this thing is heaviest keyboard ever owned. Weighs a ton. Buttons high as fudge, loud and feel cheap to press. 2 out of 5 stars
Microsoft All-in-One Media Keyboard is what u want.
This is for office/gaming. Get the wired k63 for no battery issues, amazing keyboard, very durable and great price. Would recommend blue switches over red for straight up typing/data entry but if mixed use the cherry reds are oh so sweet.

One of the worst purchases I've made. Pingy sounds, both control keys broke off because they're made from incredibly cheap plastic. The wireless is close to useless, very unstable and unreliable. Firmware updates freezing. Very pronounced pinging sounds when typing. After this keyboard, Corsair joins Razer on my list of peripheral companies I'll most likely never buy another product from.
Keys are too high, impossible to not hit wrong keys at the buttom...thanks for not mentioning that. worst keyboard and most expensive one i ever had... brilliant.
