    Cons for me: plastic frame and rubber dome.
    Hopefully the K70 m.3 will come out with much of the features this has like the capellix rgb. Love the multiple connection points. That's pretty cool.

    I really like all these features and was gonna go with corsair cause I already use icue for my fans, strips, ram, and mb. I game on my couch or recliner though with a lapboard, does this keyboard feel too big for a couch tv set up? This is the only full rgb wireless keyboard corsair makes that I know about. There is the smaller k63 but only has blue leds.

    Nice review, just purchased this keyboard. Was happy to hear about the built in RGB settings using the FN key, thanks for that additional info.

    I don't have the "Lighting Link" option for the K57 and the Dark Core RGB mouse. Just the predefined effects. Other Corsair hardware works fine with Lighting Link, i150 cooler, ll120 fans and Dominator Platinum RAM, but not the wireless ones. Brand new system, fresh install, iCue and all drivers up to date. What could be the issue?

    the rgb of the "F6" key came defective, it cannot illuminate some colors.
    When I put the keyboard in static mode with a single color, the "F6" key will most often be a different color from the others, due to this defect in its RGB led.
    (SOME COLORS THAT THE "F6" KEY CANNOT ACHIEVE: WHITE, YELLOW, PINK, ETC ..)
    There is a way to reset the keyboard settings. Can this problem be corrected?

    Corsair... NOBODY wants rubberdomes, especially when the mechanical non wireless varients are on sale a lot of the time. Why exactly didn't you take this time to make say... at least a K63 RGB wireless.

  • @Donbros
    @Donbros 4 роки тому +3

    It is not mechanical so its total bullshit. People just run away from this keyboard - it is just simply fake. And are you kidding me about praising how wonderful the layout is? Corsairs layout is mainly hated because of bottom row and especially control keys... of course because this one is non mechanical than actually whatever. But no one should praise their bottom layout, because you promote them to make them further. If it would be 2012 than maybe maybe this keyboard would be OK, but now when there are so much choice - buuuuuu. It is for power users ? What ??? If it would be for power user it would be definitely mechanical or at least scissor switch one ... They should make k97 or k 67 which would be mechanical . Than it would be another talk. However despite even if they do create these they was creating wireless mechs so long that I just found other competitors which suits the same things I want. Of course I love wireless keyboard and mice, so more competition, more approaches to the same thing. But all these "extras" are already like for a year what competitors offer. I am using that 3 devices thing already :) and do you check mech market ? This function is like 2 years used by competitors ! Anne pro 2, drevo and so onnnn. And no these features doesn't outweight it being not mechanical .

      You got total issues kid
      I have had the Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire since 2016 and have been perfectly fine with it and I have had no issues with the usage. I have even spilled stuff on it so many times and my keyboard still works (brightness button stopped working the first time I spilled something on it but it was on max brightness when it happened and everytime I do spill something on it some of the keys keep auto pressing for like half an hour straight until the water is drained) I would perfectly recommend a Corsair keyboard as I keep hearing bad things about mechanical keyboards when it comes to people spilling stuff on them but I have gone almost 3 years on the K70 RGB Rapidfire and still have a functional keyboard.

    • @Donbros
      @Donbros 4 роки тому

      @@zahidshabir4038 You probably didn't understood me correctly. I am not critiquing all corsair lineup and specifically talk about k57 slipstream keyboard and also this guy who is too positive with this release and its features.
      I have rapidfire, which is OVERALL solid keyboard despite its bottom row (as I said), which is not ansi standart (simply said: you don't have many option if you want to change that enormous corsair's spacebar), a bit rattly spacebar and cheapo keycaps (laser etched dark paint), which one of thise just broke without valid reason. But as I said overall construction is good.
      Just saying that this keyboard (57 slipstream) is really strange and fake: it is packet with features which are interesting but on this keyboard a waste because this keyboard longevity is questionable due to it being cheap rubber dome instead of being MECHANICAL. Don't you see that it is totally different keyboard: k70 vs k57 which is:
      * aluminium body vs plastic body,
      * scroll wheel media control vs rubber dome media buttons,
      * genuine germans made cherry mx switches vs cheap membrame rubber domes.
      So there is no reason not to ramble about this keyboard release and really strange corsair choices. They created amazing slipstream technology and waste it on useless products. Better make the same k70 slipstream option not this scam

    • @yogaexe
      @yogaexe 4 роки тому

      Some people like to use membrane for gaming. As long as it has NKRO + low latency , it works as gaming keyboard

    • @Donbros
      @Donbros 4 роки тому

      @@yogaexe I know why they like RUBBER DOMES (you probably mean those because technically speaking MEMBRANE is PCB alternative) - because they just used to it. Membranes doesn't like anyone because it don't have any actual benifits despite being cheap. Changing from rubber dome to mechanical is drastic choice because it actually takes time to get used to mechanical keyboard but more you use more benifits you feel . Also there is no guarantee that the first key oard with switch you bought you will like at all. I bought k70 rapidfire and I didn't really super like mx speed switches. Despite that I used it for two years got used to it then bough keyboard with gateron reds and men that was a switch which I wanted to get first probably. If you really love RUBBER DOMES you can buy topre which is both same durable as mechanical and feels premium .
