Glad to see you lubing the swivel assembly. Very good call. Pro tip: go ahead and order a spare spray bar, trigger, a couple extra sets of the MEG tips, and a spare swivel assembly to keep on hand. Those bars get bent easily(bent=doesn't clean as well=out of balance=wrecks more expensive swivel assembly if you keep using it), so swapping that out fast saves money and time, those triggers don't give much warning before they go out so having a spare on hand can save you a lot of potential down time, and if a tip gets clogged, you can replace it with a spare and keep hammering and unclog the bad tip offsite after the job is done. And when the swivel assembly shits the bed(It does have a lifetime), having a far cheaper internet ordered one on hand will save you time and a bit of cash as well.
Just ordered this, I've had a few lower end surface cleaners and as you said in the video they always break, the amount of money I've wasted on them it would have just been cheaper to buy this at the start. You live and learn I suppose. Great review, and thats me subbed. Thanks for posting!
Hey man just used your link to order $2k worth of stuff to start my business. I’ve learned so much from you and these videos and I finally decided to pull the trigger. Thanks for everything! Ha hoping you get a nice little kick back on that purchase 😛 Wish me luck!! 💰
I’ve got the same exact one without casters. Done probably 40+ jobs this year alone, all I’ve had to do was put a little extra Teflon tape on the hose fittings. Other than that, it’s been a flawless tool.
If you’re running 4200 psi, I would replace the hose from the handle to the swivel with a 5000 psi hose. I think the standard hose is only “rated” for 4000. Also, if you’re doing residential driveways, 4200 psi is way more than you need. Run oversized tips to cut the pressure down to around 3500 or else you may find yourself actually damaging residential concrete.
thats great to know. mind if i ask what you paid and if u bought online or in store? right now they are being advertised on Amazon canada without casters for close to 700\800CAD not including shipping>
@@Curtis.Carpenter I actually got the dealer I bought my pressure washer from to match the online price (this was 3 years ago) and it was I think $379 at the time, 700-800 seems way steep to me. I think even now with all the inflation they're still under $500 USD.
Hi Justin. Thank you for your videos. very helpful and motivating. Question, would a 2500PSI 5.5 GPM pressure pro provide the needed power for this surface cleaner? Peace Brother.
Just bought a Simpson 3300psi 2.4gpm pressure washer. I can tell going to need a surface cleaner. Got a big patio and lots of concrete with driveway/sidewalks. Question: after you surface clean, do you go back and rinse with just the pressure washer as well?
Hi mate, do you have a video of the machine with audible noise coming from it, I just bought one and the spray bar doesn't seem to spin that fast, or not what I was expecting, I got a 250 bar petrol, 9.3 litre per min.
I purchased the same one and I realized my pressure washer might be too strong for it. I have a Simpson 4400psi and 4gpm will it mess up the surface cleaner?
Hi Justin top vid mate, as a mater of interest could you please enlighten me …I have a 4.1 gpm Honda GX 390 with Comet pump and a 20” BE whirl away that is jetted for 4gpm …I have a pressure gauge installed inline and the maximum I seem to be able to set it to is 2200 psi without it harming concrete ! So naturally I’m not getting to 4gpm it’s optimally rated for and my question is what is the ideal pressure normally ran ? Thanks in advance .
I just took my 16" out of the box and assembled it. is there a height limit on these things? I have to bend over to use this thing. I can't stand straight up with out it angling towards me. not sure why they wouldn't make the handle move from the ground to straight up and down with out it catching.
Do you know what nozzle sizes you are using? Have you had any issues with cleaning newer cement pads? or do you change them when you do new cement pads? Thanks
So I’m purchasing a 4200 psi pressure washer And I bought the same surface cleaner. It’s only rated 4000 psi so should I lower my pressure settings on my pressure washer to run the surface cleaner ?
The gun broke and the pins that hold the handles together in the middle broke on mine. I drilled the pin holes out and put bolts in . The new gun (Hammerhead) is 50 times better than the original. All this after a hard 18 months use. So I can't complain... Oh and the hose burst
Hi Justin, I would like to purchase a 20 inch surface cleaner. Does this model surface cleaner comes without wheels? Just wanted to know which one to get. Again, with or without wheels.
Im going to be taking advantage of your vids and lessons for purchase soon. Will surface cleaners like this with casters be best for uneven surfaces? Like outdoor flagstone paths, outdoor tiles etc ( sealed in between of course) ...just curious casters purpose is to raise it up a bit??? Thanks. youre awesome!
Nice, I'm doing commercial cleaning but I only do the garage on newly built houses, the driveway(which is not that big), and both the front and back porches. So idk if I should get it or not
Maybe you can use bicycle handles to replace them with. I am in texas. I'm gonna start offering this service in my neighborhood. How do base your prices?
Can you use a 4GPM pressure washer with a 20 inch surface cleaner? I thought that 16 would be the max based off the 4 inches per GPM rule? Does someone mind explaining this to me please
Justin if you read this at this day in time i.ve found it s a good idear to mhave a water filter in the tip it wil stop small fragments going in to the tip s blue sky window clng
Hey I bought the whirl a way 20in of your link and I just received the machine today. Unfortunately I'm missing a part to connect my pressure washer to the pressure washer hose

Quick question on the surface cleaner.. are the wheels replaceable? “Hopefully a wheel is no more that 15-20 bucks

Yes. Can run 22 on 5.5. Could get away with a 24.
Would it matter if the surface cleaner has a max 4000 psi and the pressure washer is 4200 psi
Yeah would it
@@floridapressurewashing7217 yeah, I figured. Thanks for the reply 👍
How does the surface cleaner hold up with a 4200psi pressure washer? Since its only rated for 4000psi. I would hate to buy it and break it lol.
