I saw him at Disney World a couple of years ago. He still looks good, sounds great, and has loads of energy. I loved the music back in the 60's and it's still my favorite. Herman's Hermits will always be in my top 10 favorite bands of all time.

I saw a USO group do this song in 1968 in Vietnam. We had just come in from the field and arrived at base camp and the show was in progress then. It was around 1800 hrs. When we off boarded the slick helicopters we all immediately headed toward the show. I don't know who the group was. But, the lead signer was a beautiful young blond gal. Anyway, "Hush" was the last song that they did. And, of course for we GI's in VN there was no "hush" . Not at all. But, we loved the song. Actually, it was very emotional for all of us. Now, that I am 72 years old whenever I hear this lovely song I think of that evening in VN watching that gorgeous girl sing this song to us. All those years ago.

I'm 24 years old and I love this kind of music! A lot better than the junk they play today. At least here they are using real instruments instead of a beat machine and he's actually singing instead of not putting any effort throughout the song

I just heard Peter sing this song on Mike Huckabee’s show! That sure brought back memories of my teen years!
I saw him on Mike Huckabee too. He looks great. I saw him in concert in 1996 and put on the best show ever.
I checked out the 1965 vids, and this one from 1999... AMAZING!!! THE GUY IS IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE!! I thought, no he's gotta be out of shape by this time and probably over weight. NOPE!! He is one of those who never ages!! BLESSED!!

Growing up in England, roughly the same age as Herman and his Hermits, I loved this song and only later I heard Karen Carpenter sing this, but I prefer this version.
etransform but both are excellent Versions. I am about 10 years younger than you and Peter Noone, So was big into the Carpenters in the 1970s. I was aware of some of the Herman’s Hermits sounds like Henry the VIII. But it wasn’t until I heard the Carpenters version of a kind of hush that I looked into it and found out that Herman’s Hermits originally had done it. Of course I went right out and bought the oldies 45! It’s nice to have it on UA-cam and the music services now. This is a great live version as well. Should mention I grew up and still live in the USA.
My husband and I seen Peter Noone with Bobby Vee , Little Richard at the Oldies Fest in New Richmond , Ohio in 1999. He was GREAT! Love his personality , and he is VERY entertaining! 👍😘🎵🎤

When I play these golden oldies I ask how many artists of today will have their music played over 45 years later. I was 13 when hermin hermits was around - I am now 60 ! A true test of time to such talent.

The flip side of this record also charted, "No Milk Today", it reached #35...
Nine yers later in 1976 The Carpenters released their version and it made it to #12...
Ranked #50 on the Billboard's Year-End Hot 100 Singles of 1967 chart...
It would reach #3 in Australia and #7 on the U.K. Singles chart...

It was much better when he sang it in the 60's, mainly because over the years his accent has "Gone American" and all of the Hermits products sounded much better with the heavy British accent.
