As a student in the usa who has moved to alot of states, you should check if your school has a dress code because some schools and teachers are strict about what you can wear. Most schools don't allow ripped pants/shorts and any shirts that show your stomach or noodle strap shirts. Just some advice 💕 Also be careful with highschool boys in the usa they can be players but not all of them obviously.
Just a bit of a heads up, most public schools in the US have a dress code policy and usually crop tops are not allowed, and you might need to wear a sweater or something over a tank top. Short shorts may also be a issue as well. It really depends on the school and how strictly they enforce their dress code. Some are very strict while others just discuss it in the handbook and loosely if at all enforce it.
hello everyone Some schools in Europe don’t really have dress code restrictions like in the US. It’s a shock to some who come over here and go to public school where they could wear pretty much whatever they want without having issues with dress code. It also varies with schools in the US with what the dress code restricts.
sammy jean I know, I’m from europe and I know about dress codes in the US. I just thought she knows about the dress codes in the US because she made a video talking briefly about it :)
Welcome to the US! 🤗 I hope you have a safe flight. Um it’s 109F/42C right now in Arizona. It’s way too hot for hoodies. And it’s in the 90sF/32C at night. You probably won’t need any hoodies for a while. Can’t wait to see how you feel about the culture change. 😉
*if you reading this, I hope you had a great day... (read more💛)* *And a great week, and a great month, and a great 2019! And If you’re day wasnt going so good remember there are 364 other days so everything will turn out just fine* 💕💖💗*love from a small youtuber* 💓
i honestly recommend not getting too much clothes if ur moving bc you’ll end up going shopping there way too much and u won’t wear most of ur things and then u forget about them and then donate them. that’s what happened to me.
Have fun in the USA! I'm so excited for you because it's my dream to go on an exchange to the us but I can't so watching your exchange year is the next best :))
The average winter temperature in Arizona is between 60-70° Fahrenheit (15-20° Celsius ), so you probably won’t be needing more than one coat for emergencies 😂
she is rly gonna regret what she packed. most of those aren’t ok for Arizona dress code. plus u never need long sleeve shirts because it’s extremely hot . and way more than 2 shoes .
@@Dls10plt Yeah hopefully. I am so happy for you maybe we will be in the same state , that would be really cool. Did you already chat with your host family did you like them ?
venla pekkinen yeah i’m from minnesota but i went to arizona in the spring and i was in shorts and t shirts but everyone from there was in jeans and sweatshirts like freezing
There are a lot of organizations. Mine is called AIFS the one Sofia used was EF if I'm not mistaken. Almost every orga also offers scholarships. But there are different ways to get one. In my country for example u can get one from the state. If u google something will come up
Fruit, meat, that kind of stuff is not allowed. Though one way to get through customs quicker is to take something you know is allowed (like a chocolate bar) and tell them that you weren't sure if you were allowed it. Saves so much time.
OMG...HOW DID SHE SAY IRON!!!!!!! SOOOOO CRINGEYYYYYYYY!!!!! She said iRon not Iron but you don’t hear the R! AND SHE IS MOVING TO THE US WITHOUT KNOWING ENGLISHHH!!!!!!
What??? Are you an english teacher or what? And If u were is rude to say that she doesn’t know english She clearly does and her way of saying “iron” is not a valid reason to judge her

Don't think she wanted to show off her underwear to the Internet lmao
Please stop to pronounce the with a d, so it sounds like “de US”
its called having an accent. the th sound doesnt exist in most other languages.
Ester Schenck she is Swedish. She can’t help it.
She has an accent and actually sounds really cute
You sound like you'd hate an Australian accent, we speak lazily on top of having a weird accent (at least according to my American buddies)
OMG...HOW DID SHE SAY IRON!!!!!!! SOOOOO CRINGEYYYYYYYY!!!!! She said iRon not Iron but you don’t hear the R!
