You must've posted this right after I did this job last month. So glad I found your video when I went to do it again, this is way better than the one or two I'd used the first time!
This is a key part to remember to make sure that that's in nice and tight after you get it in there otherwise you push your key in it after you're done and push it right out.

I cant seem to get the lock cylinder back into place I've tried pushing as hard as I could and used grease on the "ramps but it just wont go in and lock into place
Getting that pin around the cylinder is absolutely the worst I’ve been at it all day got nowhere

Hunh I'm in junkyard on a 03 Civic and this area is NOT what the door or lock placement is. Doesn't look like any of this door. Can't get cylinder or door handle out!.
You forgot to replace the retaining clip for the lock.
Let me tell you something you can NOT remove lock cylinder with your fucking finger been at it for hours
What's the time and cost of having this replaced? The door lock and handle. I have the parts.
The door handle release rod fell off and idk how or where to put it back
