- Today we are playing an early demo of SONIC.EXE PROJECT ECLIPSE, a Sonic.EXE Fan game that features multiple mods like Arcade Mode and EXE Mode (which we will check out if the video performs well) as well as an amazing Story Mode that features a lot of great gameplay, boss fights and nice looking cutscenes! Really looking forward to see where this project is going to next!

This is Poyomakepe and I'm glad you played our game! I'll be waiting for you to play the rest of the modes.
I should mention that you're the first to have such serious lags and bugs that almost completely break the game. All this should not happen and the sudden appearance of such phenomena surprised me very much.
Only thing that would come into my mind why it occurred may be from my 240hz monitor.
I remember when I played games such as Sonic.EXE Project X, the game was like running twice as fast. Maybe it was a similar thing here…but slow lol
is the full game out now?

If you get around to playing Arcade Mode, just be ready for a challenge. The available levels are quite difficult, but still doable if you manage to form a good strategy. EXE Mode is simply something you can do for fun if you wish, but you can get a small Easter Egg if you don't kill a single soul in EXE Mode with any of the available EXEs.

@@petarradojicic8073 I'm afraid I can't tell you when the game is going to release. In fact, there is no scheduled release date planned out. We'll just gradually release updates and such as development continues, but at the same time, consider that we, as developers, have our own lives we have to tend to.

I absolutely love the concept of making Tails's death to Sonic.EXE, as well as the others, just an endless dream. I have NEVER thought of it that way up until now!
I'm glad to finally see Shadow in a .exe game. For some reason it's been an unspoken rule to not let modern Sonic characters (minus Rouge, Sally, and Cream) into .exe games and I don't know why. Shadow being involved finally is decades overdue.
i love this because its not just about cruel death to the characters, but they have a chance to fight back and there's a really nice story

I really loved how Green Hill looked in this one. It almost seems like it took inspiration from Sonic Prime where we get a glimpse at how New Yoke City was built over Green Hill (or as the Rebels claim it, "their forest"). I kind of feel like this is the same scenario that is occurring, only this time Eggman's doing this as a one-man job with the support of his Badniks and that there's no Rebellion or Chaos Council with their Eggforcers existing at this time. Personally, I would love to see some more Sonic Prime references in future Sonic.EXE fangames as they are a nice touch to the story!

the fact "Tails" has one tail in this version is sad, guess we should call him tail now
It's a really good game, I didn't expect it to have a very well explained tutorial about the characters' gameplay, good cutscenes with lots of dialogue, it gave the feeling of a normal and well-made game too, and miraculously there weren't any unusual encounters with a hedgehog like dark eyes (apart from the tutorial, of course), there was only a strange dialogue from Sonic at the end that gives you an idea of what is about to happen, this game reminded me of Sonic.exe Blood Screen and Blood Tears due to the game's graphical quality and because it has more history, dialogue, and I have no doubt that this "Project Eclipse" will have elements based on Blood Screen, like what happened to Sonic, in Blood Screen Eggman had a strange red ring on his ship that made Sonic being possessed by an evil entity, after all, most of these games place an object such as the prison of some entity that, coincidentally, possesses Sonic, we have already had: red ring, black emerald, evil Phantom Ruby, an entity only appears and possesses the Sonic just like that and stuff like that, I'm curious to know what happened in this game.

EXE mode sounds interesting
Got really high hopes for this one. All the gameplay mechanics and story lead me to believe that this won't just be another murderfest, but there will be an actual win condition where you can prevent a scenario where everyone just fucking dies. Which is cool imo, Sonic.exe games have for the most part just been two kids on the playground going "well MY exe is a god, and he can warp reality to his whim, and he can't be hurt by anything, and..." which has always been kinda lame to me, so seeing a possibly fallible version here again since like Nightmare Beginning is pretty cool. A villain who, despite his power, has to work to achieve his goals and outsmart everyone is always fun if that's the angle they're going for.
He makes a pretty sudden appearance in this story, too. Makes me wonder if this time around he's not an actual demon but some abomination that Eggman cooked up with the Chaos Emeralds (which is something that has been explored frighteningly little in these games). Some sort of highly advanced, reality-bending ai perhaps? The "reality compromised" screen seems to hint at that, implying that he functions similarly to the Improbability Drives from Madness Combat. Lots of potential here for sure, I hope to see this project fully realized in a few years or so.
