I have been pulled over more than once and it was clearly not justified, however, I always complied since I know the police have guns and I don't, one must use brutal commonsense. Now, I watched the video footage twice in its entirety. I will not project evil and nasty comments as witnessed in this section, that's one thing I do not condone, if you cannot say anything intelligent then keep your mouth closed. This young man acted stupidly and recklessly by exhibiting drunkenness, drug use or both. If he knew he was going to drink, why not use uber to arrive home safely, but this man was dead asleep in the drive thru. The officer on scene knocked on his window 3X, opened the car door and this fool was dead asleep. The officer had to physically nudge him. He gave him the benefit of parking in an adjacent slot to sleep it off, however, this man went right back to sleep, instead of moving his car. What happens next displayed absolute stupidity and his dumb choices. I don't wish or condone death on anyone, but brother brought it on himself, especially, with all that is occurring in the news. Enough said.

He was saying his girlfriend dropped him off at the Wendy's, and he was staying in a hotel. But, there was even more things that came up that he incorrectly told the officer. The officer has to protect himself at the thought of being stunned by a gun would give anyone access to his own gun.

They would have taken him to a designated place to get his BAC after arresting him and he would have been booked and free to go home once somebody picks him up.

I have been pulled over more than once and it was clearly not justified, however, I always complied since I know the police have guns and I don't, one must use brutal commonsense. Now, I watched the video footage twice in its entirety. I will not project evil and nasty comments as witnessed in this section, that's one thing I do not condone, if you cannot say anything intelligent then keep your mouth closed. This young man acted stupidly and recklessly by exhibiting drunkenness, drug use or both. If he knew he was going to drink, why not use uber to arrive home safely, but this man was dead asleep in the drive thru. The officer on scene knocked on his window 3X, opened the car door and this fool was dead asleep. The officer had to physically nudge him. He gave him the benefit of parking in an adjacent slot to sleep it off, however, this man went right back to sleep, instead of moving his car. What happens next displayed absolute stupidity and his dumb choices. I don't wish or condone death on anyone, but brother brought it on himself, especially, with all that is occurring in the news. Enough said.

Sad. Kind of hard to match the words they say here with the words that the young man was saying to the cops before he was killed. He was saying his girlfriend dropped him off at the Wendy's, and he was staying in a hotel. But, there was even more things that came up that he incorrectly told the officer. You shouldn't have been shot, but you shouldn't have taken an officer's weapon and pointed it at him. The officer has to protect himself at the thought of being stunned by a gun would give anyone access to his own gun.
