I think the way to handle the Retaliator's turrets is to 1) make the three aft ones remote, 2) allow all three to be controlled at the same time from a single remote station with no switching (like you guys said), but also 3) create an additional two remote stations that can "steal" control of a single remote turret each. This will keep the Retaliator with a reasonable "mission capable" crew requirement of 4 (1 pilot/bombardier, 2 manned gunners, 1 remote gunner), effectively limiting the amount of targets the Retaliator can defend against while enabling it to defend against more targets with a 6-man crew. I'm pretty sure that's a reasonable and practical compromise, especially considering you'd be taking away the remote gunners' radars are thus impacting their situational awareness.

anything you can do to boost the volume guys? the last few days your videos are a bit quieter than anything else I listen to, and all my volume settings are cranked.
Following the typical notion of "do not buy fighters", if I was to mostly play alone and in short bursts, I am trying to figure if it would be better to focus on 3 person ships (and lower) rather than buying the big ones and "earning down".
It probably depends on how much money you have put into the game but if you are concierge there is no reason NOT to have a solo friendly fleet. Earning down with giant multicrew ships doesn’t work if you play solo.

I would say get the biggest ship of a profession you like, that you could handle and earn down.. I dont thik crewing will necessarily be as difficult as people think. There will be times when players are happy to team up and you'll also have NPC crew and AI blades available to help. Though getting a 30 crew ship if you like small group play is probably overkill.
