  • At the end of a long season, we head to Borders in search of trout. We discovered a small river, running low and clear, that rewarded us with a magnificent fish. One last trout to end the year.

    That is a great job and you've clearly put a lot of effort into getting the shots, and the sounds. It might be worth trying a version without the music - for anglers the peace and quiet, sound of the water and even the reel and line are one reason to be out there. In the Hebrides all we get is wind noise but on a quiet autumn day like that you might be onto a winner with just the atmos.

      @@SouthsideFlyFishing am getting back into it soon for a change from lure if u fancy it , there a nice quarry in kilsyth that's got plenty of room to cast and parking next to water , or if you fancy a walk find killmannan Res just outside milngavie , rate it better than loch Lomond 👍

      @@SouthsideFlyFishing river endrick good all year to lost a monster chub last time was down ,there some grayling in there to and proper pike where it runs into loch Lomond, but like croftamie bit to is not hard to get to permit from JD bisland fuel place can park in there to

      @@SouthsideFlyFishing no probs mate tight lines , the killmannan is a proper bit of water hopefully get up this week for while, fished loch Lomond for 20years this place blows it away, 120 acres not as big but totally beautiful and rarely see anyone up there , been getting big fat dark fish following lures up at auchinstarry think they are tench but will need to catch one with bait to be sure
