Hi Mark, Great film with plenty to learn for me, I don’t know too much about the macerators, the more I see you working on them, the more I now know. I’m looking forward to the burst pipe call out job, have a great week and take care, regards, Chris 👍👍👍
My Sololift is giving me trouble with waste backing up the left inlet. Do you think it could be a problem with the non return flap you show at 9:35, or could it be explained by something else? (Can't say I'm looking forward to opening it and finding out though...) In any case, thanks for a good showcase!
Hi mark. Great videos as always. Just wondering when you ever fit a pipe interrupter can you show the process please. Your knowledge is the best I find. Many thanks.
@@MJTiffPlumbing I was literally keep watching and hope can see it till the end of the videos even you did mentioned about sneaky peek on Wednesday. Funny moment

Hi Mark, this video is well timed. I am quoting to replace a Saniplus macerator in an en-suite bathroom. Unit is going to cost around £700. That Grundfos sololift WC3 is half the price but will it do the same job as the saniplus? Only been plumbing for a year and this is the first time changing one of these so any advice on how they compare would be great 👍🏻🚽
Hi Mark, recently did macerator aswell, like for like on a Saniflo, not used a Grundfos before but might check them out, have done a small course on how to service macerators, but just prefer to swap em out, great content as usual mate, I also had the scammers pop up as you mentioned
Great video as usual loving the content pal, as an apprentice it helps me to see what sort of things are out in the jobbing world as I work on site all the time 👍
Another great video showing another tricky job, thanks. Nice bit of skilful bending; I must admit to having to really heave on 22mm copper pipe to bend it, but remember as a teenager being able bend 3/4 using a spring over my knee! Have I become feeble or is copper much harder these days?

Top job mark I like the grundfoss sh*t pumps never had much trouble with them, try and keep away from macerators as they are always full of sh1 and knackered when I go to them. When you flushed the bog I was saying mark switch that spur on 😆😆
Mark you had a problem with your knipex bix cutter I had the same problem you just need too change the blade they are in side the cutter behind the metal cutting bar undo the screw take out the metal block with the cutter in and fit a new blade
5:30 mate you need to get a crimper then 🤣. Do you have the milwaukee pipe cutter also great tool, you don't need but is great to have. Going to get myself another hover as not great swapping over from dry to wet etc.
@@MJTiffPlumbing Yea you said before you didn't think a crimper (press tool) wasn't your cup of tea but when you start press its hard to go back to soldering. Same as a battery hover who really needs one but when you have one it's great tool. Sorry should have been clearer.
The mech coupler is causing zero issues so having it there is not a problem at all and I would of had to buy a length of pushfit as the off cut were not long enough… you wouldn’t do that when there is an easier way to sort it. Each to there own 👍🏼👍🏼
That nrv rubber flap be careful of them as they wear away I have one in my house and it did just what I said it took a month to get one posted from grundfos in Denmark to Ireland an absolute ball ache I bought 2 when I ordered to save the trouble waiting if it happens again but the grundfos sololifts are easy to service and dismantle quality made apart from the rubber flap😅
Nice content as per bud👍🏻 I’ve got to look at a pump in the next couple. Of weeks that is outside the property in some sort of chamber!, didn’t know if they were IP rated, any idea?
