- This is a re-upload in much better quality of a video I shot on mini-DV in 2010 at the Rocky Horror Picture Show 35th anniversary convention in Hollywood of Jesse Merlin (Criminologist - Rocky Horror Blu-Ray Cast) interviewing Jessica Harper & Cliff De Young about Shock Treatment. Phantom of the Paradise, Suspiria, etc are also discussed.
As I have gotten older, I have embraced the fact that I actually love Shock Treatment a bit more than Rocky Horror.
POTP is a about a million times better that RHPC in my opinion.
I always say that Rocky Horror is a gay production for straight people. Shock Treatment is the true gay film.

Shock Treatment in my opinion would have been fine as a standalone film. Keep the Denton part but don't bother with Brad and Jannete or try and make it connected any other way.
The whole point is that it takes place in the Rocky Horror universe. It's literally another story about Brad and Janet.

Actually this was around the time that Richard O'Brien was seen to be transphobic in their viewpoints, saying trans women can't be women. I remember a lot of people being upset with them around that time as well.
