Headstone, was my Dad and Uncles band. The guitar player Bruce Flynn is my Dad. Uncle Barry played bass and sang lead vocals. My uncle David played drums. Tom, no relation, was the B3 player. And, I'm glad you were able to get a sealed copy! That's really awesome. I don't know how many are left, but, there are not many copies out there. About 10-11 years ago now, a company out of Germany called world in sound, repressed those and added the 4, 45 tracks that they recorded in 75. & If the record is a 100% sealed, you might keep it that way. No biggie if you don't, ya know. But, the original LP seems to hold good value. Just wanted to give you a little info on it. Thank you for reading. Trent
Ummm, any record collector who owns a shop is obviously going to keep their favorite finds for as long as they want to. Who are these people who criticize that?! If you want to have the best record collection, become a hedge fund manager or open a record shop.
Greetings from Tokyo. Some really interesting finds that I mostly have never heard of. Thanks for always offering your insights. Love the new camera too. Diggin' the hoodie and cap too!
I like the new wide angle, it works well for an interesting room like yours. It looks like the camera is focused behind you, maybe you can tweak it and get the focus closer to your face. Yes, a complete Zamrock collection video sounds awesome!
18:45 Quick note: I think La Logia Sarabanda is actually a band from Uruguay that released the record Guayaba only in Peru. Beautiful and absolutely killer album de la raza! 5:03 Quick note, I just don’t know what was brewing in those British teapots, but for some reason a lot of the 60s/70s killer rock British releases (even if the band isn’t originally from the U.K.) are WAY more “rare” and expensive than the same release but in another European country. It’s weird but there’s got to be a reason behind it. Awesome exclusives as always. I am on the edge of my seat for the Dryewater and Sound Company exclusives releasing in the next couple of months!
Your Steel Mill record from 1973 is a second press. The first one came 1 year earlier on a slightly brighter colour on the labels. Cheers from Germany.
Nice Finds Dillon!! Loved The Story On " Plastic Cloud".. Glad You Found A Good Copy!! It Is Certainly High On My Want List.. All Is Well In Beaufort!!..
That Bob Trimble album is amazing! I don't know how anyone who appreciates good singer/song writers could listen to it one time & not like it. It's beautiful, but we all have our own opinions.
Did you find these yet dillan? St Tropez " Icarus", euphoria " in trance", pole star" flying universe", flying teacup Japan band, rainbow generator Australia band, grobschnitt s/t, buccaneer private press from fla! Crystal haze from Decatur Illinois!! Exc rush type private press! Nice stuff !! Good luck on your quest for cool jams..🎉🎉🎉
Loving the South American/Latin America psych and hard Rock albums,i do have some that you've shown on cd, and as you say, many of those albums from the likes of Peru, Mexico,Argentina etc have their own local sound mixed With psychedelia, garage and indeed hard Rock which makes much of Latin American pop and rock music pretty unique sounding, and though much of it can be Primitive or raw sounding much of it is mindblowimg with Fuzz galore well into the 70s .... Fab to see another admireemr of this stuff,as it makes a pleasant change from UK & US psychedelia, garage,& hard Rock...... Thank You 👍
Baiano e os Novos Caetanos, Gal Costa, and Rita Lee are great places to start for Brazilian psych. Near impossible to get original prints in the US but there are a lot of good repressings for many Brazilian artists
When you think you know things about music, you drop a video! Now your face is screenprinted like twenty times into my phone 😅 Thanks for all the music tips.
Am in the UK and have seen a Capt Marryat in the wild but am a proud owner of the reissue from 10 years or so back. My recents and am sure people will say 'they aint rare'.... but I havent found a decent copy of either in 40 years looking...are the 2 post Savoy Brown solo albums of singer Chris Youlden (Nowhere Road and City Child) and as these things go, I found a copy of each within 2 weeks of each other. On the fabulous Deram label!
Lots of interesting titles. That Marconi Notaro definitely a Brazilian grail although there are so many. I have lots of videos about Brazilian records if you are ever interested about going down that rabbit hole. Cheers!
I love when you do recent grail video finds. I just got ca quintet and an upgraded Josephus OG. I'll give you five bucks for your Peruvian contact. Those are some tough ones to find in those conditions!!! Well done.
great channel! thanks a lot for introducing to so many great albums. Would you please elaborate on NB exclusive lps in one of your new videos - how do you search the masters, how decide which one to issue, how you restore/remaster and how make lps. I'm sure all copyright requirements are met and it's not just grabbed vinyl pcm files processed through some plugins.
You been raiding my collection? I counted 6 of those titles that I have and you're absolutely right, these lps are all awesome and extremely enjoyable. Great video!
Lots of beautiful stuff, Kestrel caught my attention for sure. I recently managed to pick up a couple of Los Jaivas albums I was looking for, not cheap but in top condition.
Captain Marryat is so rare. I know several Scottish pals who've never had a sniff after decades of looking. Love the Kestrel lp. My sleeve annoyingly has a big tear repair on the front but it was very cheap so what can you do. I'm currently in the process of paying installments on a UK Steel Mill with a local shop but I'm getting it for a very fair price so couldn't resist. I'd certainly be more than happy with the German press though, prefer the black laminated sleeve. Amazing set of records Dillon. Cheers Nige
The band is not Guayaba but La Logia Sarabanda, they were from Uruguay , but the album was only released in Peru and Mexico, your copy is the Peruvian release, that has in my opinion a waaaaay nicer cover art than the Mexican cover art (that sadly has also been used for all the reissues)
@24:22 "Skinnydipping in the Flowers"... don't get me wrong. This record is great. Some really cool parts. I remember a folky popsike song about water standing out. But I don't really understand the cult-like status it seems to have. Does Alicia May have some sort of back story or something? That is an incredibly expensive piece of wax. Thanks for showing.
I think you need to put out a video defining the definition "rare". Does that mean the least number of copies produced or does desirability play into that definition?
Great picks, have reissues of all the lps that have em. The Kestrel was finally reissued on vinyl with some really great unreleased songs on Merry Go Round. Love all three of the Liberman lps.
Cool vid great finds My last grail finds were new favourite alison krauss for short money London conversation john martyn pink eyeball island Tubby hayes fontana boxset
Hi, thank you for Kestrel, never heard about this band. Original first press starting from 1000 pounds it's unaffordable, impossible, I'll try some japanese one.
Suck on my want list, cliche within a cliche outside of a cliche, but 15$ would be my limit, it's not that amusing. The South Africa origin adds to its appeal. So many of the members of these types of bands only ever seemed to perform on one Lp, suggesting musical lives were short lived.
Can't call Havenstreet "acid folk". It's mega rare but unfortunately very lo fi with bland vocals. The only thing that saves this record from being very boring are the arrangements but after one listen you don't need to hear it again?
@@mark.walkin3416There ALWAYS one sad, disagreable troll, and you're it..... deary me, you get picked on as a kid that you have to spread your misery guts around, can you not be miserable in Silence? As for concerning the music on the records shown, you're showing you have NO clue what you're commenting on ....id stick to your jive bunny collectables from now on , and maybe Max Bygraves if you feel like pushing the boat out... preferably with you on it.......😂

@noblerecords You're welcome brother!
I’ve said it before : when a fellow collector bags a grail or more , we’re all feeling the joy. Congrats , good for you. Play them loud. /R

I keep a few but not many from the shop! I do my best to keep the regulars happy!
So fantastic to see your grails. Always learn so much about artists from your videos. Thank you.

Really? Where? Germany? I know the Italian one may have come out a little earlier but still 1973
Raer grails is why I am here. I love that yiu show off your collection! Amazing video.
Thanks Dillon
Just received my order from you
super excited to listen to 3 new bands to me
Keep the good work up

You're absolutely killing the merch game lately! Love the creativity.
Bud. Did you get a new camera? The video quality looks awesome!
Thanks! Yeah, I got a new camera! Trying some new stuff!!!
Nice Finds Dillon!! Loved The Story On " Plastic Cloud".. Glad You Found A Good Copy!! It Is Certainly High On My Want List.. All Is Well In Beaufort!!..
Good to hear Dan!
Wow Dillon, best grail video I’ve seen. Crazy finds. Just shows if you dig deep they are still obtainable. Love your videos here in Auckland NZ.
Captain Marryat 🤯 Amazing! If there is one person in the world who would find that record it would be you. Congratulations! 🤩
Thank you man! Your collection rules as well 🫡
Lucky you..... I've been searching for a 1974 original vinyl LP of CAPTAIN MARRYAT on Thor records label from Scotland for decades!!!!
Haha hey Mark! I knew you’d been looking for it! 🤣
Our shop bought a partial liquidation of a radio station library. There were 2 copies of Kestral in there.
The fact you got the Bob Trimble… those two are insanely rare!! And wonderful stuff. The Trip to Hell is also great! Congratulations!
Thanks so much!!
That Bob Trimble album is amazing! I don't know how anyone who appreciates good singer/song writers could listen to it one time & not like it. It's beautiful, but we all have our own opinions.
Looking forward to seeing your video about your Zam Rock collection !
Start your Brazilian journey with Os Mutantes. It's relatively easy to find, and it's pretty terrific (especially the first three albums).
Amazing Dillon!! So cool to see!

I have that c. A quintet on vinyl Too. Love it
Just started steaming Plastic Cloud and love it. Thanks for letting me know about that band.
Really like this new camera pov, cool records too ofc🤙🏼
Dude that’s so awesome you got an original copperfield, in time to celebrate the exclusive you’re doing, that makes it even more special
Thanks, it really is!

Nice!!
Apocallypsis is also not the name of the band, but from the album, the band is Gerardo Manuel & Humo (they have a second also pretty tasty album)
OMG! What a crazy and amazing haul!!! I want all of those! Cheers
Lots of interesting titles. That Marconi Notaro definitely a Brazilian grail although there are so many. I have lots of videos about Brazilian records if you are ever interested about going down that rabbit hole. Cheers!
Wow lots of gŕeat gets there bro! Thanks for sharing... from a fellow prog head. 😊Adelaide, south Australia

It really is!

Please do a video on your Zamrock collection soon!!!
I wish I knew the music. Congrats on the finds.
Killer finds! And it must be reiterated and commended, that the pick guard on a sunburst Les Paul should always be removed!
A mind melting lot of obscure gems. Kudos. ✌ ☮ 🕊
That splatter vinyl looks amazing Duder..
Thanks man!
One word... DAMN!
Peace on earth.

Boomtime. Some stellar pick ups. First out the box stole the show for me. Well jealous....respectfully of course 😁
Just listened to Jeff Liberman album. Wow! Thanks for finding this for me. Enjoying the videos here in Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks man!!!!

I found that c a quintet record for cheap in Fargo just last week. Didn’t even know what it was, it’s amazing.
No way!
I need that Down Jones and the Industrials 7"
Im all in for rarities. But a rare record doesn't actually mean it is listenable after the first spin
Hey Dylan! What’s your favorite song released in 2024? Making a bracket with some friends, trying to get some celeb slots
I live in the GSP area. I NEED to get up to your shop!
Monster jump in video quality 👍
I’m tryin! 🤣
From a room full of gold like Smog 😂
2 minutes in. Holy moly Batman!
Would love to see an Australian rarities episode
Legend has it, some say 200, others say 250 copies of captain marryat LP.
People say a lot of things but a member of the band said 99 so that’s what I believe.
Kestrel! Wow. I just came to say that.
Thanks! It’s a great one!
Love your channel! Any news on the Boris release? Been looking for that one for years!
Hoping for first of the year 2025
Have you been to the barber? Looking well groomed with your new grails 😍
Haha no, I do my own trimming! 🤣 but thank you!
Grailzzz😻 Also, i need better buddies 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Hi, thank you for Kestrel, never heard about this band. Original first press starting from 1000 pounds it's unaffordable, impossible, I'll try some japanese one.
There are reissues! And also, I didn’t pay that much!
Stick with this shot/frame.
Holy.. but please do a ZamRock video 🙏
I plan to eventually!
Marconi Notaro🔥

I have some vinyl records Beatles Bob Dillon Elvis Jager and more are you interested on buying them 😀
Hey man can you make a video on some good speakers to get that are on the cheaper side
I would but I know almost nothing about speakers man, sorry!
@ lol Alr man thanks 🙏
What’s your budget?
Love that suck record, that season or the witch cover is too good.
You and your grails. I have a lot of catching up to do
🤣🤣🤣
Captain Marryat noble reissue plzzzz 😭😭
Can't call Havenstreet "acid folk". It's mega rare but unfortunately very lo fi with bland vocals. The only thing that saves this record from being very boring are the arrangements but after one listen you don't need to hear it again?
what did you mean by disagreeable lyrics on the s3x lp? like racist or just gross?
Do have any R&B?
Yes, tons!
When are you going to post actual rare grails? Lol. Jk. Unbelievable man . good for you.
U only need like 10 let AI n Disney do the rest o buddy
Buying the records it probably cheaper 🤣
I collect Clutch vinyl, cds, tapes. etc. Not too much left that I need, but if anyone has anything rare (test pressings, promos, etc) let me know!
Captain. Merryat. Album. Sucks. Bad. Glad. It's. Not. In. My. Collection!😵

Sorry. You. Feel. That. Way. Maybe. You. Can. Make. A. Video. To. Show. What. Albums. You. Love. I. Would. Love. To. See. It.
