So sorry, I completely messed up and forgot Borough Market is closed Mondays! I still recommend going, but just in a different day if you can fit it in!
This itinerary is so well done. I watched a lot of videos on the topic and this one has to be among the best! Thank you so much! I would consider making other itineraries for different durations. I think people going for 3 days might not click on a 7 day one, even tough of course it would still be useful to them. But you know, people are lazy :)
I like to go later in the day when all the bus trippers have gone. My family likes to go through sights at speed so it’s not a problem. Go up to the Royal Observatory, in Greenwich, in the evening so that you can see the Meridien light.
Giiiilr I’ve been looking for London recommendations, as I am going in a couple weeks, but out of all the videos that I saw not a single one motivated me to start a schedule. Then I stumbled upon your video and now I am really excited to do my schedule, so thank yooouuu
best itinerary that I've seen so far! thanks for the time to put up this list! London is so big that planning this trip is overwhelming and I was already feeling lazy lol thank you!!!
Glad you found it helpful! Please note that Borough market is actually closed on Monday, so I’d recommend moving that to another day. So sorry for the oversight, but I hope you enjoy!
If you pay an extra £5 you can go into the roof of Westminster Abbey where’s there’s an exhibition of clothes worth seeing. You’re in the roof so the view is amazing, both into the floor of the abbey and outside. You’ll probably only go into the abbey once so pay the extra and you won’t be disappointed.
Hey! Been living in London 2008 - 2014 and now will be going for the first time with my family for 12 days (with 2 children - God help me :D) . Even though I know London very well, thank you so much for this video - I got some really good spots to put in my plan ;) !!
Going to London 15 June for a week with friends; thank you so much, your guide is just the best - very informative, friendly and super useful for us first timers :) Happy I have found your video; other similar videos on youtube just don't do the trick.
1 Remember to pack shoes that are comfortable to walk in! 2 A good place to see a view of Saint Paul's Cathedral is on Ludgate - one of the roads leading down from St Paul's towards the West. Walk down it and turn left into Pilgrim Street, walk along this and look West to see Saint Bride's church (another Wren church), which has a tiered spire.
Great video. London sounds really, really cute. Actually, I appreciate this young lady's take, helps me guess what my daughters will enjoy. Will watch the videos about transportation, etc. BTW it's called a portico - the long covered hallway with the poles.😉
Great video thanks so much! however, writing the names of the recommandations on the screen would have been great, i couldnt understand some of them :(
Wife and I are doing London last week of September. Many thanks for suggestions and the visuals, it helps. we hadn't planned on Greenwich, but now it's on the list. Liberty for sure, Portobello road on Saturday plus any antique stores, I think maybe on New Bond St. Wife is a big junker. What about Spitalfields Market? Worth it?
I do like Spitalfields, but you’ll find a lot of the same stuff there as the other markets. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way.
Hello! Thank you for your video, I will travel to London for the third time in April so I've been looking for new stuff to visit and your video helped a lot. Both times I went there was only for 3 days so I didn't eat at restaurants or anywhere really mainly because I never know if we have to tip or not in England. I've been searching quite a few times on the internet but some people say you have to and some people say you don't so I hope you can answer my question
Fantastic video - so helpful. My question is we'll be staying in the Covent Garden area.....would we still be able to take the boat to Greenwich from there?
Yes! You can take the Uber boat from Embankment Pier. You’ll miss seeing Big Ben from the river, but you’ll still get to see Tower Bridge and St. Paul’s among other things. Just be sure to check the Thameslink app for the routes and timetables.
Thanks for the helpful video, but if I want to see the Royal Naval College from the outside do I also have to pay for the ticket or is the ticket only for the opportunity to see the interiors and the exhibition?
Hi Emily-going in July. Is this a good time to visit? If we follow this 7 day itinerary, where do you recommend staying? What area? We’re a family of 5, two teenagers & 1 elementary school child. We are not a fan of Airb&b’s…4 star accommodation at least.
July is a great time to visit. Some areas I really like that are quite central are Mayfair, Marylebone, Notting Hill, and Chelsea. But honestly as long as you stay within a 10 minute walk of a tube station you can get anywhere in London very quickly.
@@ty-and-britt Greenwich is a bit outside of central London, so I wouldn’t recommend staying there for a short trip since it’s not close to many of the main tourist sites. I would still recommend visiting Greenwich for a day though.
I wanna visit London so bad the hotels and accommodations are so expensive in UK, I wanna stay a week or two at least explore Bath,Costwolds, York, Oxford and other areas in England outside of London.
Thnx for a wonderful itinerary. My small suggestion.....you speak too fast n your pronounciation is very difficult to understand. If possible add a subtitle.

I can't agree more! It is helpful for tourists ~ By the way, I found that I can get a discount on tickets with code on trainpal ~❤
The Tower of London is amazing. I went during Covid, ( I’d been in 2001) when there were hardly any people, so the experience was unique…deserted.
Having followed part of this plan - I give it two thumbs up!!
My beloved Emily, THANK YOU for this amazing video, the best I found on UA-cam. Wish you all the best, greetings from São Paulo/Brazil

good job. very well done from a Londoner👍
The George pub, was used by Charles Dickens, it’s the only gallery pub in London,
Thank you! :)
You’re living my dream❤

Thank you for planning my trip to the UK lol
Great video! Chalcot Crescent is on my wish list, you literally saved me as I thought it was in Notting hill.
Thanks for sharing! I'm planning a trip to England, and this is really helpful. I'm a new subscriber and off to look at your other videos.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for subscribing:)

I live in London. Welcome! Have a great time
My goodness! After all this, you would need a month's holiday!😂
Great video thanks so much! however, writing the names of the recommandations on the screen would have been great, i couldnt understand some of them :(
Do you do Tours?? such great ideas! we are doing them...

Most of the time a service charge is already included in the bill. If it isn’t you can ask to add a tip, but there’s no obligation.
This is fantastic. What time each day did you begin touring?
I’d recommend 9 or 10 AM to fit everything in, but you could always shift things around depending on your schedule!
Thank you!

Oh no! I completely forgot that!!
Where would your recommend to go for souvenirs?
Hi Emily! I'm wondering if you'd give some safety tips around central London. What can and cannot wear etc
Yes, I’m filming a tips video and I’ll include some safety tips for sure!
@@emily_meadows Thank you so much! I'm going this year alone and not gonna lie I'm scared ha!
Thanks for the helpful video, but if I want to see the Royal Naval College from the outside do I also have to pay for the ticket or is the ticket only for the opportunity to see the interiors and the exhibition?
Glad you found it helpful! You can see the outside for free, you only need a ticket to go inside the Painted Hall.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰
I'm from Miami, so my standards are pretty low, and Camden is a bit too stabby for me. I'll pass on that part.

Airbnb is not that expensive

most of the sights you mention are tourist traps.
Even if my flight and hotel in London are covered I’ll turn it down.
you speak so much every little thing you should learn speaking shorter I think
Terrible video showing stolen pictures from online ! 🙄
