この動画に出会って1年が経ちましたが、未だ病みつきになる動画ですそして自分自身も仕事用の革靴をしっかり磨く習慣が身につき、靴のヘビロテはしなくなり、さらにブラシ毛別、コバインキ、紙やすり番別でそろえだして、ワックス、シューズキーパー、革靴も高級なのをヤフオクで吟味し綺麗に磨き上げる様になった始末です。結果、靴磨きが趣味になるという中毒性ある動画です。仕事も何故か捗る様になりました

昔見た長谷川さんの別の動画を探してここへたどり着きました。当時と同じ、この動画でもポイントやノートで一つ一つの作業の意味が説明されているのが印象的です。できればブラッシングの効果・効用も教えて欲しいです。うろ覚えですが「クリーム塗布後のブラッシングは革に刺激を与え繊維の間にクリームを浸透させる」という説明が記憶に残っています。

明確な答えではありませんが、例えばホテルのスタッフさんだとして、大理石の床やカーペットの上でしか履かなければ、ソールの磨耗は少ないかと。

馬毛で掃除して、クリーナーして、コバインクの工程じゃ駄目なんですか？
コバのインクは乾きは早そうですが、馬毛の掃除で毛の傷が付くだろうし、クリーナーで拭き取っているときもウエスでコバに当たってるし、素人の疑問でした
