This past Tuesday I had a racer stop into my garage. Seeing the bands, caught it and called in the band. Two hours later the owner was here to pick it up. As an avid chicken breeder this was a unique look into a different bird hobby. Now I have two racer/breeder contacts. Absorbing as much as I can.
@@thesquirrelyprepperlifesty5523 i’m glad you got the bird back to its owner safely and you will enjoy Pigeons my friend. They are absolutely fascinating. Have fun but be careful once you get into Pigeons it’s a lifelong hobby.🤩
Nice update Mike! Good luck with the new sistem, it will be nice to see how it works for you. I can't backup my truck like you but I'm going to do something similar except it will be into a large cage I can transport to the back of the truck. It will be something new for me, let's see if it will be successful.
Good luck with the cage. I’m sure it will work fine for you. I got pigeon and dove feed from the pet store and it’s all very small seeds so that’s what I throw in back of the truck It takes them a long time to pick up the seeds while the others are learning to get in there and they don’t get full. They seem to really like it also so now when I whistle they come storming into the truck. 👍
I get Grizzles that pop out once in a while and there is one that’s almost pure white and that is a New Zealand white that I thought I would try it out and it’s doing very very well so far
Hello MIke my name jim from California i have been watching your videos for a while and enjoy every one ...i was wondering if you have for sale a black pair how much and how much to ship to California 9:05
When pigeons molt, they start from the first interior flight and work their way outward to the 10th flight so the idea is to have all the flights grown back before the first race. By pulling the outer flights. You help them to get finish growing flights sooner. This helps them tremendously come race day.
Appreciate the update and the pigeons look exceptional 🧬🪽🪽🏆 I really enjoy your videos they teach me a lot as a beginner in this sport your videos really help me more then you know and gotta say it one more time you pigeons look really healthy and vigorous & strong
Very good

Great job brother

Do the high Flyers ever fly with the homers? It seems like they have a completely different flying style.
for food that falls through the floor, what cleans it up?
@@equatorialcat4569 good question, there’s an army of squirrels around here that keeps it nice and clean under all the lofts
Sliver Homer baby look beautiful Chino Les
👍
I love those Pakistani High flyers. Gorgeous birds 🕊
What are those white birds that you are using for racing? Are they crossed on your line?
I get Grizzles that pop out once in a while and there is one that’s almost pure white and that is a New Zealand white that I thought I would try it out and it’s doing very very well so far
How the roller doing?
They are doing well I just taking a break from flying them this year, but I’ll get back to it next year. I miss flying them a lot.
do you ever send young racing pigeons to fly high with pakistanis?
I let them all out at the same time, but they stay far away from each other. The Pakistani’s don’t fly directly. They just kind of hover.

Why do you pull the last flight ( I never understand this?)
When pigeons molt, they start from the first interior flight and work their way outward to the 10th flight so the idea is to have all the flights grown back before the first race. By pulling the outer flights. You help them to get finish growing flights sooner. This helps them tremendously come race day.
Normally 1oz ❤❤❤❤
Thanks my friend
I have a pair a blue bar cock and white hen and they always give me white birds I love it man
It’s half of the fun of having Pigeons to see what colors you will get and how they fly. Keep having fun, my friend.
Hi mate, thanks for the vid. I'm wondering if race birds will fly with highfliers? Something I've been thinking about for a while.
In my limited experience they stay far away from each other. My roller pigeons sometimes join them for a short time but have trouble keeping up.
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons awesome, thanks for that.
