I was born and grew up in BKK. I have been living in Wellington for 6 years now (married with New Zealander). I totally agreed with you about negative sides of NZ 😂. I miss Thailand !!

New Zealand has always been on the top of my list since I learned that The Lord of the Rings was filmed there. The only downside is that it's sooo far away from the USA and it's a long plane ride.

The cold in NZ really seeps into your bones, so it feels even colder than you think -5 would feel.

I agree with the expense of living in NZ. Im a NZ born citizen 48 y/o, I live in a caravan on a property with a main house in Auckland rent is $180 which includes power, water and internet, I earn $850 p/w after tax. You reach a point where you cant afford a house but also cant tolerate living with others after years of bad experiences. To be able to save $$, live comfortably and without financial stress I had to reduce my over-heads, mainly rent, food and petrol.
To avoid the fate of living in a caravan the rest of my life, I may have to move cities (probably Christchurch) rents can be a little cheaper in the South Island.
Be careful of the ozone layer. The suns rays are harsh, do take & wear sun screen with you
I always want to go to the New Zealand 🇳🇿 because my cousin went there to study. Far cheaper than going to the USA 🇺🇸.I always want to see the movies set The Lord of the Rings and The Last Samurai (Tom Cruise). Thank you for the VDO.
