OIIII OIIIII FELLOW SQUELCHERS! ❤🎉We have missed you two!
Doesn't matter if you guys find anything or not. Just seeing the awesome father daughter relationship you two share is great in itself. Can't wait to see what 2023 brings to the Mudpies!
❤️
Love the chisel and the fact that you found belters back when you were 10. Foreshadowing of the great finds to come.
Thanks, its funny I (Andy) have always been good at finding things, not really sure why. I do feel luck to be able to share this wonderful hobby with my daughter 😀 x
I just found this channel and I must say the finds are incredible and yall are very entertaining I'm from Texas and all can say is keep the great content coming and thanks again for the entertainment 😀 👍
Heyaaa Jerry! Welcome to the channel you legend ☺️ thanks for the lovely comment !
If you watch Sarah on Manchester Mudlarks she repairs ink bottles with resin. She puts something in the neck of it and then pours resin to rebuild the neck and since it’s shear topped the jagged edges looks right on it. Just try to mix the colors as close as you can to the original color of the bottle. So glad your back from the holidays I hope you had the best of Christmas’s and New Years. Loved the video and finds.
That's a great tip Kristi, thanks we'll have a look at Sarah doing this on her channel 👍😃x
Always enjoy your digs or squelching in the mud! My favorite is the mini poison! Beautiful color! Have a great week or two! Hugs❤
Great dig love the tiny bottles the chisel is amazing find
There is something so cute about tiny bottles 😍
Oh my, when Josie said ‘taco’, that was my favorite part. 🌮 😄
That little poison was my favorite bit of glass. I really like that sort of teal color.
I really hope you can do more stream walking again. Not sure of your water temps over there, so…. Anyway, enjoyed this video lots.
I hope y’all have a Wonderful New Year! Be Well!
Tacos are the BEST 🌮 love em.
We actually went on a stream lark today so expect a video really soon!! 😍 happy new year legend
I was disappointed that we didn't get background on the 'taco holder'.
@@clockworkconservative2190 - We did learn a few things though; it probably sat on someone’s desk or table, it probably held mail and it would not hold a taco with decent amount of filling.
Happy New Year!🎉 Ive been making cutout cookies with too much frosting. But I gave quite a few away. These bottles are not your standard colors, lovely. I love the letter holder too!
Love the Bronze Age chisel, I found back in September 2000 a haord of Bronze Age axes 78 in total. A day that will be with me for all time 😊
Canadian snow bunny here. 🥶 I would love to find any of those displayed items. 😍 Favourite has to be the white porcelain letter holder, followed by the mint jar. 😁 I will now slip on over to your new channel, Josie, to see the hijinks and mayhem. 🤣🤣 See you both here next time. 😊🥰🤗💛👍
the chisel and poison bottle are my favorites, thanks for sharing the adventure! N.C. USA
Lovely video! The tiny green poison is fab and I love the stoneware of course. The chisel is amazing, it seems larking has always been in your blood! 😀💗 x
Happy New Year! I bought the mint bottle to add to my ever growing collection from you two. Love all of your videos! You guys are rad. See you soon! Thanks again
Fun finds today! Wonder if the "taco holder" could have been for calling cards. Bet you were both quite tired after all that digging!! Glad your family is out of hibernation 🥰🥰🥰
I'm loving the letter holder. Just a really interesting little find - and I haven't seen one before. Will defo subscribe to Josie's new channel. I always enjoy your mud squelching adventures, but the digs are great too guys :)
That chisel is a stunner! And who wouldn't like that little green (teal) poison bottle! Beautiful...
Great to see you both back. Amazing video and beautiful finds. Love the tiny bottle and the doll and all other.👍🎉
Love the chisel and glad it’s now recorded well done. Great finds all round. Any video of yours is great 👍🙏❤️
That chisel is a find of a lifetime. 5hat old English magic.l! It is in good hands. I am sure you and your family will keep this safe and loved for ages and ages.
Thanks Therese, it will be passed on down the line 😍
The arms with the whole like a button is used in this body of doll and you use the lactic cord to tie them together and after you tie a knot in the second arm they will retract together and be movable. Then the legs you use milliput to rebuild them.
Happy New Year dad and little grott Stuart Palmer Adelaide Sth Australia
I love the chisel. The letter holder is beautiful. I do love the stoneware as always. 😊 The doll is my favorite this time around. It was some child’s favorite. So good to see you.
Hello Barbara, I can't believe how such delicate things like dolls survive in the dump sites! Thanks for your support 🙂 x
Happy New Year Mudpies!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Love the tiny TACO stand and the tiny greenie poison bottle. Lots of hard work today you two. Get some rest! Love the new channel Josie. Can’t wait for more. 🌟

Oi, oi guys! Great to see you back! What an amazing find the chisel is! I'm glad you were able to keep it! I love the pouring ink and gorgeous letter holder! Happy week from Australia! ❤️😍
Hello there, Dad made a frame for the chisel to sit and proudly display it. Pretty sure we'll never find anything quite as epic ....but you never know and the adventures are the priceless memories ❤️
Yes the first one of the new year. Hope to see a collap with si-finds. Or fossil hunting on the island of Wight. Something different. Love to see you again.
❤️ sounds epic! We’d love to make that happen!
Good morning from NZ. You will be forever legends to us. We adore your happy disposition. So dedicated in the cold weather. We look for your video's everyday. Josie, you and your dad rock. Thank you for highlighting our day.🙏🙏❤❤👍😀😀

Taco ittttt! 🌮🌮
I loved the small poison bottle. I go to a lot of antique malls here in Pennsylvania looking for one. The poison bottles are scarce and very high priced. I will keep on hunting for one. Hopefully I will find one this year. Love you all......❤️
Good luck Carol 🤞
Love the little poison and the little doll, very cool! That chisel is amazing! I have to tell you, Andy, I love the scrapper/ spatula you made! I use it often! It was great seeing you both! I think I like seeing you squelching best with a few digs thrown in for good measure!
Thanks so much Terri ! Sadly I don't have so much time at the moment for wood working, I do love it and find it a relaxing and absorbing hobby. Thanks for your support and feedback 😀x
Congratulations Papa Mud Pie, your chisel is fantastic, just blows my mind that you are able to find such historic items 🎉🥳🎊 great find Josie, I liked the bluish bottle.
Thank you, it is a very special find, I enjoy day dreaming about who it originally belonged to and how it ended up being there! And then smiling and thinking about how often I've lost a tool 😂 take care 😍
I hope to be continue these intreseting serial of Mudpies via You Tube! Thanks! Beanswer my kindly question! Kind regards Pieter Smit from the Netherlands!😀👍
Amazing wee green poison. That Bronze Age chisel is unreal! Just needs a handle and it could go back to use!
Thanks guys! I know it's one of the reasons we love this bronze age treasure, you can see every chisel in it! Stay warm in those lochs 😃❤️
Welcome back y'all! Just wondering if what you call a letter holder could be a serviette holder? Take care.
Hello Julie, maybe, 🤔. You've got us thinking, need to do a bit more research on this. It certainly isn't a taco holder!!! Take care 😀 x
Oh I have missed you two. Lol I am newer to your channel. Been watching foe a few months and watched all of your videos. You two are first mudlarks I ever watched so I'm a bit partial to your channel. I was super happy to see a new video. Glad all are well. From Oregon, USA ❤️
Your dad is losing weight. I hope he is okay❤️
Love your enthusiasm 😩can’t imagine it being different.
Nice belters! I love the poison, but the two Glasgow bots are champion. I'm also glad you're staying healthy, fit, and digging great finds.
Yaaaay Mudpies are on. Fun adventure. What about that chisel! Crazy! Your future was calling to you!
Loved seeing that chisel annnnnd that lovely “parrot green” (IMO) poison bottle!!!❤
Josie's fave is what they call an Emerald Green color, Stunning. That said, why not a Gem hunting trip ? Any fossil sites or public allowed digging areas for crystals or ? .Ty for taking us along
The letter holder us interesting. I'm surprised it wasn't flattened by the dirt! Great fun as usual! Thank you! ❤🇺🇸
You should try cutting those knuckle inks and other inks down like you do the cod bottles. They would make great Tea light holders!! Good Luck for the New Year!!!
That chisel is AMAZING. Beautiful patina as well!
It really is remarkable!
Happy new year guys have a great 2023
Your little taco 🌮 holder remind me that I haven't had taco's for some time,so I made then And they were delicious.bottle finds and meal ideas .Thank guys

I love the gorgeous doll and gorgeous green poison ❤️❤️ thank you for taking us with you Josie and Andy 👌😊
Thank you Deb for your continued support 💞
That was great I love the tiny poison and the little tiny marking ink bottle. Only one stonware but a great one. Thanks for sharing your find when you were 10 years old of the chisel. I found a george the third penny in my friends garden and never told her. I was about the same age of 10 years. Great finds and keep on squelching.
Amazing chisel find,my favourite is the letter holder, thanks for the video.
Let me tell you how my New Year started, 3 broken ribs and a bruised left lung!😑😑😑 I fell in the shower! It hurts to breathe and laugh!
That little green poison... definitely my favourite 😍
Great video. I’d love to see a best finds of 2022 video. Mind you I know you had some outstanding finds last year.
I always love watching your videos! I like the mud but the digging is great too! Please be careful and stay safe,
Love the poison. Thank you both for this wonderful video. Cheers.
Happy New Year, Mudpies!
curious that your jacket says "something french" written in dutch. Like to see the perfume bottle and learn a bit about the history of this bottle.
That chisel is awesome! Such a great find! I like the poison and the blue sauce bottle! The coffee bottles are cool! Thanks for sharing
I don't see the little tea pot that was found whole. I was hoping that you had the lid that fit. I think that was a wonderful find.
Hello there, we left the teapot as the lid didn't fit properly. It was lovely but someone else can enjoy it 🙂 x
Hello squelch squad leaders! Good idea for a episode is to invite me to come along 😂. Just need time to arrange getting there. Lol! a girl can dream.

That was fun, love the stoneware and the small poison bottle!
Thanks Debbie, the little poison bottle is proudly sitting on Moma mudpies book shelf now 🙂
The dad must not be so vain. Wear your glasses, at our age we start to get bad eye sights. And nothing to be vain about.
Hi, great to see you out and about again bringing joy and fun while seeking more treasures. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to in 2023. Take care, xx
Thanks so much Cate , lots of adventures planned 😻
Love that creepy baby, and those teeny tiny botts! Especially that tiny poison. That chisel! I cannot even imagine living somewhere that I might just stumble upon such amazing artifacts.
Hello Tara! It never ceases to amaze us how much stuff humans leave behind over the years. It probably also helps (in the discovery) that we live on a small island! Take care 😻
@Mudpies a small island with such a rich history. Someday! Someday I will do a whirlwind museum/Jane Austen/mudlarking tour of the UK.
Not to mention give or take a half dozen or more fine individuals, total legends, stars, mud badgers, absolute belt lords and ladies 🥰😍
The taco holder has a beautiful shell-shaped impressed form.
I think your "taco holder" is really a paper napkin holder
Pretty sure your taco holder is a napkin holder?!
Thanks for bringing us along!
Our pleasure Anthony ☺️ x
Aww, I’ve missed both of your smiling faces! ❤❤
❤️❤️🕺🕺
Let’s go!!!
🥰
Didn't see the tea pot in the round up?? Did I miss it?? Thanks.
I’ve missed you 2!
