So many legends in one place! I love those cylinders and those stoneware cream pots! Such lovely shapes. I also love that white pot with blue sponge ware style plant shapes around it! I'd be buzzing with a dump like that 😂

Why are so many items in that dump burned? Did Britain burn their garbage at some point, or was it from burned rubble from something devastating? Just curious. Enjoyed another episode of the two of you getting grimy and scoring some belters! ✌🏼from Oregon 🌲
Hello there, that's an interesting question. Some rubbish was burnt in a furnace some simply ended up melted due to the large number of domestic fires heating everyone's homes. A lot of the dump sites are filled with ash and cinders from these home fires. Take care 😃

Hello there, we found a few deeper pits in the first section we visited with some stunning broken items nearby. Just need to get muscled up and go for it !😃

That was an interesting dig! The music and the twisted trees as you went to find Kit and Fleur reminded me of a Chinese Kung Fu movie. Can I suggest a slow pan of the short finds at the end? There were some interesting short pots in front of the big green bottle I would have liked to see. I’m looking forward to next week already. Great day.

Wonderful wonky Wednesday in the wild wooded and weedy dump from way back when. Did miss the squelch though and those fantastic mudflat views.
Never underestimate the value in melted bottles. I remember buying a deliberatly melted bottle in a novelty store for 15 bucks. LOL People do buy them because they are different. As always great finds and good friends. :) :)

I have a dump similar to this one that I go searching on. It's been dug over and over, although hard core diggers still find some amazing botts. I, however, like to scavenge the holes after and pick up missed gems

I had no idea Grey Poupon was so old! That must of been back breaking hauling all that out. I love the emerald green colored bottles and the red creamer.

my guess at the bottles that have wonk to them is; most people set fires to their trash heaps or junk yard piles. another great video haul guys!

Just amazing how much glass receptacles have been replaced by god awful plastic.

Nice trip guys, we all get cobalt fever sometimes Andy 😂 do you think if you tumbles the melted ones they would clean up? I suppose there might be some heat fractures though. Anyway, another great day out see you next time 👍

Josie, Cherish this time with your father. My Dad and I did lots of things together, he would take me to help him cut down a tree or clean out a fireplace for the old people from church each winter, we also would do all other kids of odd jobs for them together. I also was very blessed to go with him thru his Union Iron Worker job to go wet up and break down concerts. I made GOOD money lol but it was fun meeting all these "celebs" we sat up for, From George Strait to Reba, Garth Brooks to the WWE wrestlers but it was always grand to tell people who my Daddy was. My Daddy was loved by all.
He would usually take me with him to drive the church bus on Sundays and Wednesday nights to go pick up all the kids. LOL the one trip I remember the most was when the church bus broke down and Daddy borrowed the neighbors new panel work van and we crammed 19 kids sitting on the floor, they were from all ethnic backgrounds and there were no seats lol After we picked up the last ones, Daddy pulled over from the stop sign, turned around and told them that they all needed to stay seated and quiet because if the police stopped him he would be in big trouble, then with his charming smile he turned back to the kids and said "If the cop does pull us over, yall tell him we are going to the hospital to see Mother, she just had a baby" hahahaha OMG I miss my Daddy so much. You are so blessed having all of this time with him and your Mom. I love spending time with yall
Always cherish this time with your Daddy, at least you have videos, even if you marry and move away you have this constant reminder.
Thank you for taking me along with you on this grand journey. I love the aqua bubbly and the big dark green bottles BUT I also love Daddies bottles and pipe bowls which I now have thanks to Ian and Louise, lol I did a box opening video hahaha and I sound like a nut job I was so excited lol I even goofed up their name and called them Norhtern Mudlarkers instead of West Country Mudlarkers lol But they sent me a box of joy and I feel so honored to have that history sitting here in my home!

Kit and Caboodles is an awesome mother/ daughter team much like your father/ daughter team. They are so fun to watch as are you. They now have a channel that shows there use of the finds they have collected. Making dollhouse rooms and furnishing them with made items that resemble the wares, food and people. So fun. One of these days you must introduce us to Momma Mudpie. Great video.
We hope some of their expert small find spotting rubs off on us! Moma mudpie is a bit camera shy but hopefully one day she will feature fully in a video😀

Oi-oi Mudpies!!!! I loved the video and so happy that you got the chance to hook-up with the Caboodlers!!!!! Some very nice wonky finds!!! Lovin' 'em!!!!! Maybe do a video on repairing some of the stoneware?!!! Just grab some Milliput and some paints and experiment!!! I'm sure that you could get some advice from Willy of "Dirty Secrets of Scotland"!!! This weekend there is an estate sale in my area with a lot of antique bottles. They were dug by a local woman who was sort of a local celebrity for her bottle finds. She also had quite a collection of Native American artifacts. Hopefully, I will be able to pick up a few choice items .

when I was a kid growing up that toilet pull. your dad saying flush the loo. it was actually flush the chain 😂😂remember it well my mom saying make sure you flush the chain😂the memories lol
A nettle machete to find the melties. You entered one of the magical sites the Kaboodles seem to find . My Grandfather, a bio chemist from the prairies of Nebraska, USA. Would neutralize our nettle stings with a little ammonia dabbed on them. But tryer beware.
I hope you kept the child’s broken cup. Create a lovely craft out of the cup. Wonderful memories of pulling the loo flush line over and over again at the age of four, I was totally fascinated by the flush.

Elderly people in the American South still make bottle trees. You take a small tree or large bush and cut off the ends of branches, then insert the bottle onto each branch. Blue bottles are considered best for warding off evil spirits. It’s a tradition from Congo. Maybe your melties that can’t stand up could go on a bottle tree.
