The little devil is from a meat product that comes in a can and called deviled ham. Love you all, have a great day.
Bottles galore. I like the cheeky devil 👹😉
Nicely done Fantastic Dad and fantabulus daughter brilliant digging out are you shaw you arnt moles not magpies great time in for you both you work fabulously together well-done great finds for you both 😅😅😅😮😮😮😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉🎉
I like that little rooster. He can be repaired and painted. This morning my phone was out of order, and the internet was down; so, I ran errands today. Then I did a little shopping. I noticed that someone is now trying to sell antique bottles at one of the consignment shops. You have made a big impression on someone here.
The cheeky little devil is a favorite.
You could make an entire spice rack with those Eiffel tower bottles. Devils and chickens and soldiers, oh my!
Love, love LOVE your kitty! I always watch to the very end for the gorgeous feline. By the way, Dad is looking younger and fitter. Whatever he's doing, is working.
Wow, some of those bottles have such great color! Little devil man is actually cute, but I'd chuck him back in the pit if weird things start happening lol 👹
Amazing finds 👏 ❤️ the bone disk is from a baby bottle aka baby killer. It's the disk around the pacifier end of the hose.
Really enjoy your channel. I especially get a kick out of the Dune references, so
May Shai Hulud continue to bless your efforts!
Fear is the mind killer! Thank you for noticing 😀, look out for episode 2, it's a belter! 😀x
Your little "devil " reminded me of Puck from A Midsummer Night's Dream. That cheeky little smile got me.
aaaawwww so pretty this kitty - kitty!!! 🐱
Great vid you two!!! Wow! Josie can really move that dirt!!! I remember those days but Father Time catches up to all of us!!!! Congrats guys and always Love the hunts!! Thanks for the adventure! 👍👍👍👍👍
It was so funny you found the devil in the bottom of a deep hole. Nice collection too. Lovely colours.
Wow!! What a great vid. Some great finds too.
Josie, the bone ring is a part of a pacifier. The little devil is a vintage halloween devil that is usually put out with a black kitten. And Momma Mudpie was right, it hails from the 1970's.
Blue!! Its been a long time since the last blue 💙💙 a lot of beautiful finds, the little devil and the rooster are special.
The bone disc with the hole is from either a bone baby's dummy, or the horrible baby bottles of the day that had long rubber tubes that could not be properly cleaned, and caused a lot of infant mortality. The Northern Mudlarks have a couple of videos about them.
@10:12 the bone disc belongs to a baby’s pacifier. The”Northern Mudlarks” have found all the pieces and have put it back together. It’s awesome!
The bone disk looks to be part of a baby pacifier . The UA-camrs Northern Mudlarks have covered this in a couple of their vlogs. Refer to their 1year old vlog titled “Deadly Dummies & Mystery Finds” starting at 8:24 for another piece of the pacifier & at 9:17 to see the pacifier assembled w/ the disk.
Actually I think the bone disk was the ammo out of an Edwardian Nerf gun maybe...
The devil and the horse rider are my two favorite pieces.
The Foster Clarks Lemonades may be fairly boring unless you find an early one with a picture of the Eiffel Tower embossed on it. Then you've hit the jackpot!
Hi guys! I love the deep blue bottle! My mom and grandma have always collected colored bottles! Usually blue, red and green! My grandma was mostly English but she had Irish and Dutch too! She lived to be 100!
🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸🙏🏼
The first item is a nail manicure item, there would have been a file in rye slot. I have my grandmothers one and it may have been her mothers
Wow, y'all found so many beautiful blue bottles!! They're all so pretty and sparkly!
Hi Mudpies! The Devil figure is a Royal Bareuth figurine. He was popping out of a shoe originally. I put this comment on earlier but it disappeared! Weird! 😮❤️
Thanks for this bit of feedback! I've been looking at these just now after your suggestion, there is such a collection of ceramic devils! Take care and look out for episode 2 😀💪x
@@MudpiesI found him in an auction lot image. Looks like a match.
Great stuff! Keep on digging. 😻
rats! i just searched for some time & found that exact auction photo, only to come back here to see someone beat me to it! 😩 BUT…it was an interesting & enlightening search
Awesome shades of blues you found. Great dig...reminds me of when I use to go with my dad over 50 years ago.
"Royal Bayreuth" I have one of their hand painted tea cups with saucer. It's gorgeous! 😍😁
Enjoying your adventures.
Memories of digging with my Dad in 70's.
Tempted to start again!
May try bit of squelching 😊.
Looking forward to next adventure.
When you talk about school holidays makes we wonder if you are a teacher
Hey lovelies! 😊✌️ imagine the Victorians reaction to seeing 'us' digging up their everyday rubbish! They'd be horrified 😂😂😂
Great finds guys. And your banter always makes me smile. Keep up the good work
Incredible finds. I love the little devil. He’s harmless, please keep him. Cheers!
The bone ring at 10:10 is part of a baby's dummy according to the Northern Mudlarks. The nipple would have stuck thru the hole.
I've never seen such a complete horse and soldier dug before.
👍 we've found quite a few in of these bone disks now. Really proud of our lead soldier 🙂x
The royal on the broken mug was Queen Mary, who reigned beside George V, from 1910-1936. She was Elizabeth II's grandma. She looks quite young here, (she is more commonly depicted with white hair, as an old lady) so I'm guessing that fragment of mug was from George V's coronation in 1910. She apparently loved finding all sorts of treasures and little curios - just like you and your Dad, Josie! - and she was notorious for visiting people's houses, and picking up cherished little items from people's mantelpieces and tables.
'That's rather nice,' she'd say, 'I'll have that.' Then she'd just pop these little treasures in her handbag and leave with a royal wave! What a cheek! She was so notorious for doing this, that all the aristocratic lords and ladies she used to visit would hide their little treasures away before she arrived, so she couldn't snaffle them!
Think the mug a coronation piece of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra
I love EVERYTHING!
Baguette with hot brie and apple butter would be perfect today. I'm like Josie, stoneware is my thing!
Brie, cranberry sauce and apple slices grilled on soft french bread. For breakfast or brunch.
What a fab mini collection, and the dump devil 😈 l remember Dad telling us about Foster Grants Effel Tower lemonade crystals of Maidstone, just add water for a refreshing drink !! Looking forward to part 2. Happy hunting you pies 😀
The bone ring is from a baby's pacifier. I learned that from the Northern Mudlarks.
Lovely to see you chaps again work alot and late genuinely happy to see yas ❤
My day is complete, a new dig with loads of bots ! Stunning cobalt one had me drooling 😁Looking forward to part 2 and my favorite squelch- digger duo ! Dig It !! 🥰🥰 Hugs xx
I like all the blue/aqua glass. They are very pretty in a grouping intensifying the color. I remember the devil torso from the 70's but I recall bugs bunny or something in a cartoon. I can't place it either.
Part of a dummy.😀 good job guys.
Awesome haul guys well done. Take care and thanks for sharing 👏🙏❤️
My favourite - deep aqua long neck sheer lip rectangular plain bottle. Yea! ❤
What a haul!!! Anything stoneware would be my choice. I think the bone disc looks like part of a baby pacifier (Northern Mudlarks). Thanks!
Hello there, thanks a few others have suggested this too. Interestingly we have since found quite a few more 👍😀
You need to put large limbs and sticks crisscrossed over your hole. That signals that there’s a hole there for other people walking around and it mainly signals to other diggers that it’s a claimed hole and your coming back to it not to mess with it. I learned that on Manchester Mudlarks Sara showed a couple of holes that was marked like that and she spoke to the diggers and that’s what they told her.❤ very nice finds several unusual ones I love…❤
That round washer looking thing I believe is part of a baby’s passiphire
The mystery bone item looks very much like an old nail file with the metal piece missing. The sharp end is for cleaning under nails and it looks like there is a part for pushing back cuticles too.
What beautiful bottle you've found! I love that large, faintly baby blue bottle by Phillip's! Absolutely a stunner.
That lead soldier is fantastic! Never saw one that big or intact. My other favorite find is the chicken. For your devil chap, could it be for deviled ham? That type of character was popular in 1920, like in the Shirley Temple movie, "The Little Princess" (one of my favorite movies).
The end of the video came too soon 😩 When I saw your Mudpies logo, I exclaimed aloud, "Heyyyy!" because I thiught we weren't going to see a picture of the kitty but then we got to see him (or her?), and that made me happy.
You two bring such joy to so many people but more importantly, you two seem to have fun, too. We love you both and always wish (and pray) that you are doing and feeling well!
Btw, I love your cheesy puns, Josie. And Andy, always such a jolly fellow. I truly enjoy watching you two do stuff together. Memories to cherish for you both.❤😊
Loved your video and I love how great you two get along so well. You don't see that anymore, you two are awesome.
I can remember my grandmother having a very similar devil ornament sitting on a boot. My Great uncle gave it to her.
That's fantastic! It's so awesome when items are recognised and bring back memories, thank you 😊 x
The horse is a sweet find I would bury the demon ♥️👍😊🗝️⚒️ It took me four months to clean out the milk of magnesia bottle that I found
Yes, we will be keeping a very close eye on anything unusual that may happen after digging him up !!!! Take care 😀 x
Great finds again from the dump ❤😊 so many colours in the different bottles. Such a shame that bottles these days are just plain glass or plastic. Anyway thanks for sharing your video and looking forward to part 2 😊
My favorite find was puss at the end of the video!! Ha ha. No all the lovely blue bottles and the Effel Tower fruit juice bots cos my mum used to make me lemonade from their crystals one of those tiny bottles made a whole load of drink. You used to be able to get it in the 60's cos when I was first married I used to buy it. It came in a glass bottle in a box. Love the cockeral too.
Awesome dig. You found some amazing bottles. Awesome that soldier is in such good shape.
Great dig guys! Funny how we all love a blue bottle!
Not the best weather day, but a great day for finds. Awesome to get a whole bottle in a surface find. 👍👊✨
Absolutely! It’s quite nice digging this spot as we are relatively sheltered! It can get a bit dark in there though, not the best for filming! X
Think I remember the devil as a mascot of a whisky ?
Tea light the small clear glass with groves
Hello Mudpies, lovely to see you doing your workout again. Love from us folk in New Zealand.
Wonderful video and amazing finds. I especially like the clear ridged stubby bottle that Dad Mudpie found. He thought it might be an ink. Could it be a perfume bottle? Have a great weekend and keep safe. 😊🇨🇦
Dear Mudpies, the first bone piece you found is a nail implement. The point is for cleaning under the nail and the rounded end is for pushing back the cuticle.
What a brilliant haul Mudpies!! Cracking finds, that devil is my fave belter!! Another fab video my lovelies!! ❤❤
Yaaaaaay! Mudpies are on!!!🥳🥳🥳
nice video as always...loads of bottles there chaps...the little devil was my favourite!🙂👍🏻 regards from the brighton badger!
Beautiful blues! Looks like a beach scene❤🦘
Fab video! It took me over two years to find an Eiffel Tower bottle and you find loads of them in one dig! It obviously wasn't popular in Yorkshire 😂💜 x
I like the little demon 😈 I've found a fairly local dump that I got a rare local Cheshire pub beer bottle from and a lovely compass brand green coffee bottle, but it's right by a road, so I get nervous digging it 😂 Some cracking finds there!
Excellent day to be out and finding all kinds of treasures 😊😊😊😊😊
Hey there Mudpies,
Wondering if you ever thought of taking some of the pottery you find and cut them in half vertically and glue it to a board. This can be made into a wall hanging in which flowers and/or plants can be placed in for decor.
Hello there, an interesting idea! We sort of tried this when we found a stoneware ink that had been split in two and butted it up against our garden wall. 👍🙂x
What a beautiful collection of bottles. Congratulations!
yes yes what a day what a big pile of bottles the blues are great but the find of the day is the lead horse so beautiful. I have a lead napoleon figure at home most asome. like the video it's insane big hole 😅 greetings Pieter
I love the dark blue bottle. My favorite color
the toy horse is amazing. so unusual to still have equipment, legs etc. best find.
I know, you could still see the paint on it too! Would love to find some more. 👍😀x
Oi..oi from Oz! Love all the finds. Beautiful blue bottles but my favourites are that shifty little devil, the chook and the horse and rider! Ofcourse I always love the stoneware bottles. Looking for to the next squelching adventure! 😊❤
That deep blue bot on Josi's right looks gorgeous.
Boiling hot AND raining. What is that all about????
Thank you for the fun video. Great haul of kool stuff!!
Ah the power of digging, it does funny things to you! 😂 Pleased you enjoyed it x
At 16.30 min: Finding the devil definitely showed, that you dug too deep! 😁 ;-)
IT'S MY FAVORITE MUDLARKING DUO THE MUDPIES LET'S GO 🎉😂
