Frozen Yogurt Bites Recipe:
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 cups diced fruit of choice
1 tspn vanilla
1 tbsn honey
Mix together & freeze bit sized portions on parchment lined baking sheet. Freeze 4 hours.
Melt chocolate of choice, dip frozen yogurt bites & return to parchment paper. Freeze another 30-60 minutes & enjoy!
Souza Curry Recipe:
chop chicken breasts, golden potatoes, carrots, & if you want... onions & bell peppers (no green ones, that's gross) Put all veggies & meat in slow cooker.
Add 2 cans of coconut milk, 1 package of mild Japanese curry cubes (don't do medium or hot unless you like super spicy food) & 1 jar of red Thai curry paste.
Slow cook on high 6 hours & serve over white rice.

it was 80 on Thursday here in South Carolina that is too cold my Mom is very cold nature she would not be able too live there in Idaho she will be 80 in July 2nd

Melissa, I'm sure you already know this...and the rest of the family. Make her rest! Rest while you can. Listen to your body. When it says rest, you rest. before and after the baby! I slept so much my last month with all of my kids. I know you;ve already had 4, but each pregnancy and delivery is different. Rest Rest Rest. When the baby sleeps, you rest. Space your daytime chores, Rest Rest rest. Also have your iron checked. I found out I was anemic and once they gave me the iron, I felt so much better. !
Yes, because having a baby when you aren't in your 20s can be hard on the body. I'm only 35 and while I have the patience for my last baby because I'm older, my body didn't handle the last trimester or post partum very well. I wish I would have rested, but I chose to keep working on my home, selling it and moving during my pregnancy. After I delivered, the very next day (after a c section) I begged them to let me go home, and I continued my normal daily activities. I didn't allow myself to heal and im paying for it. Rest!!!
@RC-cc1xl my 1st 2 deliveries were a breeze, less than 3 hours. Then 7 years before my 3rd and my body forgot what to do. That was my 23 hrs induced labor it wss horrible.
Honestly people i know we're supposed to be respectful but I can't believe how some of you people can be so stupid as to concern yourself how some of you concerns yourselves why they want to use their fireplace extreme snows the electric can go off from lines freezing and different things causing the electric to go off and someone get freeze to death if they don't have a heat I mean even an idiot would know that!

I grew up with wood heat and even though we now live in the city, our wood stove is our primary source of heat.
It is so cozy and you know what they say about firewood - it warms you three times: cutting it, stacking it and burning it. Well done Guys!

Watching y’all with a smile while enjoying a very warm Saturday in Louisiana two weeks after the snowmaggedon dropped 6-10” of snow in my area. Weather guys said 6” near my house. In spite of the mess three days later, Jan. 21 was magical. I had to laugh when I stepped off the back porch into 8” of snow. It was very cold for days, so the snow stayed around for multiple days. It was fun watching so many adults have snow ball fights and sled down the Mississippi River levee on cardboard and plastic container lids.
I can see how winter weather for months must require lots of preparation. The firewood house looks awesome!

I have had 5 goldens on electric fencing over a 30 year period on our acreage that borders National forest on 2 sides. Very seldom have they wandered ( once because of a frightening thunderstorm) but I have had some naughty coyotes lounge outside the perimeter trying to entice the dogs out. Their only response was to alert us. They never try to follow the deer, elk, or moose. When we want to take them outside the fence we put them on leash to take them across the perimeter so they understand that this is a “necessary “ step to leave to go for a walk. Love your pupster.

Thanks for sharing the halo collar info. We use a perimeter collar for our pup, but you can't define the space - it's just a diameter from the unit. That's cool!
Great explanation of why many of us use wood heat. Here in BC, the heat pumps don't work as well for the cold. We live semi-rural and have lots of wood within a short truck drive. And there is nothing like wood heat!! My husband and kids are also close to finishing our new wood shed...same design as yours. Looks good!

We tried the invisible fence, and my pup was just stubborn enough that she'd take a shock just to get where she wanted to go.
This one will shock them until they go back inside the boundary.... he tried that

We're in WNC, and we have back-up heat (woodstove) in both our primary home and our cabin. You're so right. When it's really COLD, heat pump cannot keep up. Now our primary home HVAC is dual fuel, so our propane kicks on when below 30. You can set it to what you like. We cannot put our thermostat above 71 or it will be a sauna. Amazing! That's one awesome looking woodshed, y'all!!!

I was noticing, not for the first time, the mountain backdrop and how it reminds me of the Alps in Bavaria, Germany. The house is just as personable as any German village, so the effect is to provoke memories of my journeys as a young Airman in the USAF and my return as a middle-aged man in 2012. I have that Greenpan. It's the "cats meow." I use it for soups, sauces, browning hamburger & sausage, rice, & much more. I haven't steamed anything yet. I must try that. Love your vids!

Jeremy, don't lie....I got all this weather that came up there and those temperatures even with a 2mph wind feels like it can freeze your bone marrow. We have had a really odd winter and warmer than normal down here, I don't know about up there but Southern Idaho was in the 50's until Christmas eve..Every day i would say I can't believe it's this warm this late in the year. You guys make me cold while I sit in my kitchen and watch..

Here is a tip for preventing coconut milk mishaps after opening the can I empty it into my vitamix and add 1/2 to 1 can of water it becomes a better consistency for smoothies then not so thick I then jar the remainder until i finish it. I also when còoking with it stir it in the can 1st with a silverware knife before dumping into the dutch oven

A new life coming, Just lost my middle son 2 weeks ago, and it makes me smile to see your new one getting ready to come into this world. May God bless all of you.
