In stent restenosis of OSTIAL LCX.

Focal ISR of LCX ostium.
Continuation of previous post.
IVUS Cath failed to cross in the LCX.
Predil with 2.5 and 3.0 NC.
IVUS from LCX, well expended stent, no neointimal hyperplasia.
But a few mm of LCX ostium was found to be not fully covered with previous stent.
Hazard of T stenting (Roof of LCX ostium).
Instead of DCB decided to use DES from LMS to LCX ( reverse culotte).
POT then KBD
IVUS run from both vessels.
Well expended stents.
As did KBD in LAD so decided to use DCB to deliver drug on two years old stent in LAD.
Then final KBD.
Good result in both vessels.

The common patients, who have no or little medical knowledge, should avoid visiting the corporate hospitals. They sometimes lay traps to cheat gullible patients. I lost my father in such a hospital where a cardiac surgeon recommended the double open surgeries of abdominal aerotic aneurysm and Bypass together with lots of false promises without discussing any word of risks even knowing that the patient would die after the multiple surgeries. Amazingly, the same surgeon speaks out the truth at the last and critical moments when leaving the hospital was nearest to impossible. Finally, they handed over the dead body with the wounds of five open surgeries of abdominal aortic aneurysm, bypass, cholestomy, Treakestomy and thoracentesis.
My family and friends also learnt an expensive lesson.
Please think twice before trusting the corporate hospitals and its doctors.

In this case the previous sten was only in the left main/ anterior descending, probably the rest enosis is from poba. So it was a good choice to put a new stent left main to CX. But I wonder what effect would a DEB do in this situation.

I have total block of LCX, 2 DRs tried to stent but failed, now what, how long do I live?? I am 88.

Mr. Capella you will live long. There are many people with totally blocked arteries they have arteries supplying to the same part from other side. They are called collaterals. What u need to do? Enjoy your life.
