  • Step Back in Time: Our Flight in a 1929 Ford Tri-Motor!
    Join us as we take to the skies in a piece of aviation history! After spotting an incredible opportunity online, we couldn't resist purchasing tickets to experience a flight aboard EAA’s 1929 Ford Tri-Motor, affectionately known as the “Tin Goose.”
    This legendary aircraft, America’s first mass-produced airliner, was offering rides at Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, Wisconsin, from June 27-30, 2024. We were lucky enough to secure our seats and step back into the Roaring '20s for a thrilling journey through the clouds.
    Flights were available Thursday afternoon and all day Friday through Sunday, running continuously to give as many people as possible a chance to relive the golden age of aviation.

    Great video. Thanks for sharing! What an awesome opportunity! Does it stop here every year, or was that the first time? I'm curious how you managed to snag that amazing cockpit seat with that cool view? Was that seat sold separately for a higher price? Do you recall how much it cost for each ticket? I know a high schooler who's fascinated with planes who'd love to do this! ❤️

      Thanks so much for watching. Not sure if they come to Madison every year, we just happened to see it on Facebook. Check out EAA.org or follow them on Facebook, I'm sure they will post if they come to the area again. They also have a Calendar of Events page on their website.
      The price was $100/adult and the co-pilot was more, but I don't know how much more. It was a fun experience, and recommend it to anyone interested.
