- Quiche lorraine ingredients
Dough:
- flour 250 gr / 8.8 oz
- butter 125 gr / 4.4 oz
- salt 1 teaspoon
- 1 egg + water around 25 ml to have 75 ml / 2.5 fl oz of liquid in total
Egg mixture:
- liquid cream 30% 250 ml / 8.5 fl oz
- milk 250 ml / 8.5 fl oz
- 2 eggs + 2 egg yolks
- salt, pepper
- nutmeg
Filling/ garnish:
- hard cheese 100 gr / 3.5 oz
- pork belly or bacon 120 gr / 4.2 oz
Bake for 10 min at 230 'C / 450 'F. Then another 25 min at 200 'C / 400 'F
