Sigma DG DN Art lenses imo are the sharpest yet affordable compared to Sony
Yes indeed and the Sports versions are even better.
It's these sorts of things from Sigma that may drag me to full frame mirrorless. Now, if someone makes a "rangefinder" style body in L Mount.....

Can this lens keep up with A9III 120 fps?
No it can’t unfortunately
One side of me wants to buy this because of the image quality and portability. The other side doesn't because it doesn't support teleconverters on Sony camera's, it's capped at 15 fps, it's still dark with F/5.6 and knowing Sigma this is a heavy lens compared to Sony if Sony will ever make a lens like this. And the price of €3200 doesn't help either 😂€2k and I would buy it.
Understand. For Sony users it’s more for the reach, size and optics. Speed and TC are a no go
I really wish and hope for 600 f6.3, or something like 700 mm.. 800 mm f6.3 can be not that lightweight but for this paremeters as Nikon shows it is NOT MUCH but still this is not a lightweight as 600 mm..
Well if this is a success they may do that. All depends. But the 500 with converters will give you a lot of reach in a small package
@@btonelli Sony gives only crop possibility. With teleconverter that would be too ideal.
From what I understand due to an agreement with Sony and Sigma, they cannot produce teleconverters for e mount lenses.
@@btonelli That's why I said it would be too ideal. That's somehow a bad move from Sony, but understandable they want people to buy their gear not 3rd party with 95% quality.
