At around 2:00, Charlie should have gotten an extra clue ("gain this clue and 1 additional clue"), which would have meant he'd have one to spend to avoid the sanity loss and Madness condition from the Mythos event later (at ~6:00). I don't think it made much difference though as the madness reckoning never fired, and Jacqueline got a clue for Charlie receiving the condition. So in the end, just 2 sanity loss that was unnecessary.
You can only acquire assets on a city space with no monsters. In the end it did not matter b/c charlie only went big game hunting in Africa with the gun. Nice playthrough. Elritch can actually be more punishing than Arkham if you get a string of tough Mythos cards or your dice rolls don't work out like they did for you
Thanks for pointing it out - note added. My most punishing experience in Arkham was getting lost in time in space 3 times in a row...that game felt draggggged and people lost focus/checked phones. Maybe that's why I haven't played Arkham in a long time, but gosh I love that game.
Tina the Board Gamer Aah you're tempting me! ^^ I would say both lol! but if I had to choose only one I would say Eldritch with expansions because I kinda wanna see what will happen to Charlie and Jacqueline in their next investigation/adventure... :D
I just put out Dead of Winter onto the table. For Eldritch Horror, I have to borrow the expansions from my buddy and I figured I would film something today since I have some free time. I just uploaded a video asking for opinion on the next series. Please chime in and let me know what you think!
Totally agree...Arkham i like the most. This is not a bad game, but totally agree about monsters. Don't move, you can sneak them...too easy. Arkham is more challenging. About games you can playthrough, i'm wondering if you have plans for: Fortune and glory or Firefly. Ghost Stories could be another challenging game.
Definitely pick up Forsaken Lore as it just adds cards to give more replayability. I hear Mountains of Madness is very very good, but sadly haven't actually played it yet.
Watching this series has really taught me how to plat this game...thanks so much

Bit late to the party but a really good playthrough. Thank you!

This was an excellent serie! Nice!
Thanks :) It was fun for me to make as well, despite the mic difficulties.
If you can, please try some of the expansions.
Okay, you pick! Dead of Winter or Eldritch with expansions? :)
