Interesting. I’ve tried bonding my two boys and they were ok for a while but then started to fight. They had 21 square foot c&c so it wasn’t lack of space. They are now beside each other. I adopted a third lonely boy from local shelter and they live beside each other in 6x 2 c&c cages. They seem happy but I wish they could live together.
In my free guinea pig care guide bonding rules I explained that there's only a 20% chance that any two boys will get along. That's why we recommend people come to the rescue where they can try different boys to find a good mashed before they commit however I do understand that sometimes guinea pigs come into our lives and we are already committed. I have several single boys and they are able to interact with each other but prefer to live alone. That is just the way it is sometimes not for lack of trying.

5:38 I read that alopecia on legs is common with men in starting in late 30's and 40's. It could be a coincidence and you just happened to notice it right around the time you changed pants. I didn't notice until a buddy asked (loudly and in front of everyone) "Dude, why don't you have hair on the backs of your calves?"

Thank you for knowing your limitations at this time. My guinea pigs are your guinea pigs. And maybe you can volunteer somewhere, or help others. Or just make friends with someone who has guinea pigs and you can hang out with them

Someone please help! I have one female Pepper... because she loves peppers. Around a year old, and another I just recently adopted another female just a few months old. The baby can squeeze through the grids of my c&c cage. I don't have choro under the cage. So I have tried cable ties to put 2 together to make the grids half as small, but I can't keep them from sliding back into itself. I can't stretch it outwards, but it will still slide inwards. Sorry for the poor grammar, and awkward wording. I'm a fairly new, but proud piggy mom, needing answers lol
I had this problem and I found that buying the grids that are just solid clear plastic instead of a wire grid pattern works wonderfully! You can find them on Amazon if you type in “clear cube storage”

What does it mean when it sounds like my piggie is crying or whining when near a baby or even being picked up. We spend more time with him but still hear it once in a while. He came from a mill
It might be a good idea to take him to the vet and make sure he isn’t in pain! Hoping it’s just a noise he makes, though. 🥰💕
You should keep an eye on his Vital Signs his poops or his urine. Many pigs are just frightened at first and it may take a couple weeks for them to calm down. I have several like this I am fostering right now but you would be surprised how quickly they have begun to trust me.

It is honestly hard bonding boars. I am a new guinea pig owner since I rescued a single pig from a friend who had no idea what he was doing and neglected him. Recently I got another guinea pig to bond them and after quarantine, within 3 seconds of being put in a neutral area they lunged at eachother, started chattering and attacked. It broke my heart and I was curious, can they live next to eachother in separate cages and be happy? Or can they be reintroduced?
Hello. Sadly I live in a country where u cant try to find a match for your pig, u just go, buy and thats it. I have one boy piggie, maybe 7-8 month old, he’s been with me alone for 4 month. Yesterday I brought another, cuz i thought mine was lonely. The new one a little bit little. When i brought him they started butt sniffing but the new one also tooth stuttered. I really didnot put them in neutral territory is that why? its my fault so
Should i try bonding them? And if they wont in the first try, can i do it next day?

Um….go to the vet. If that’s happening you shouldn’t be asking someone who probably isn’t even going to reply. There’s not even an answer for it tbh. There could be so many reasons to why your piggies legs aren’t moving properly please DO NOT rely on people on UA-cam for things like this. Take him/her to the vet!
Vitamin c deficiency. Bell peppers are great for that. Join "guinea pig advice and support group" on Facebook. Lots of similar stories there
