Living in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺, travelling across America and visiting Texas on route driving to Ottawa Canada, Texas is one of the most amazing places I have seen, near endless un touched country is amazingly beautiful

So them having that southeast asia rock influence, is a true to form representation of what modern 21st century urban Texas is all about.

The absolute greatest moment of the festival for me! We were expecting Leon to come out, so it wasn’t really a surprise, but those first notes of Texas Sun played with Khruangbin just hit different
I was driving through the hill country from DFW to Austin area when I first heard this song. With the most Texas sunset in the backdrop to top it off. Couldn’t have been the most perfect timing. Love my state! Damn it y’all! 🤠

There in those bad times i discovered leon bridges and i listened to his new album and especially SONG river and i loved it and i said to myself this man is gonna be a huuuuuge Then i fixed my life and in 2018 this dude came out with a big album big music and i said to myself this man is not DONE THen in 2019 i had again a bad time in my life but only when it comes to work so i struggle mentally and i discovered khruangbin and i listen to their infamous bill and con todo el mundo album especially august 10 And then again i somehow manage to fix my self and it happend i saw B-side on youtube and it said Khruangbin & Leon Bridges and i was LIKE WHAT? isn't this weird how everything falls into eachother?

Yes saw them in Birmingham the next day could not believe how good they were, the volume, the tone , the talent just shook me up. I felt I was in the presence of genius.
Not the best example of it in this song, but I think Mark Speer is up there with the all time greatest guitarists and doing it in a completely unique and new way. He is spellbinding, absolutely hypnotizing.
he's studied and adopted the scales and notations of traditional Indian, African, and Eastern styles of music.. much like Stu Mackenzie and his flying banana in King Giz, Mark has been experimenting with and incorporating non-Western musical tones into Western rock, alternative, and electronic..
for sure!!! there was this bit in this set where they both got down on one leg and he detuned his guitar, played in that super low tuning for a bit and then got up and had it tuned again in about 3 seconds!! crazy good
Part of what makes the band great: he supports the song however it's needed. On this one, he didn't need to play at the same level as some of their other songs. Leon is a big part of that, imo.

I saw this band about 3 years ago, opening for Chicano Batman and after the show, they were packing their own gear. NOW LOOK AT THEM! Wow!
Saw them in 2018 in a small club in Paris. They had the best live sound I have ever heard in my life, and I've heard live music
