Hey guys! I just happened to see this in my facebook feed. Here is a link to the latest mid-atlantic plant invaders book, tinyurl.com/29eftdwb Free electronic versions are available here: www.invasive.org/midatlantic/fieldguide/
LOL! Yes, but not real pearls. I found this husband and wife company called Hypnotic Dog Co. We got a purple beaded necklace for V and another for her bestie sometime last summer. Well V received the pearl necklace from her bestie for Christmas. :)
Wonderful Q&A! Thanks for sharing your info on here in one spot. Makes it easier for those new to this type of gardening. Happy Thursday! Hope you're safe from these storms!
Can you share mail order sites for native plugs? Or any other sources for installing several acres of plants without taking out a loan 😅 (I’m not prepared to grow from seed this year)
Why yes I can! Izel natives is fantastic! Order early, they sell out quick if its something popular. Golden Ragwort has been a workhorse for me. Its spreads like crazy, will take almost any condition, especially shade, is evergreen.....only thing to note is I believe it is toxic to horses and cows???? So if you have an be aware. I forgot to mention this in my other response, hayscented or new york fern. I have it and it spreads like crazy, so google which one is the fast spreader. I inherited it when we moved in. If you have a wet spot throw in some ostrich fern. Take it a little bit at a time. Consider a native plant hedgerow with thicket forming shrubs. Devil's walking stick is awesome if its out of the way of people.
