One of my favorite Babymetal performances ever was at this concert series at the Budokan. “Akatsuki” live 2021 is absolutely insane, it’s a solo performance by Su and she absolutely kills it
@@Abigirl_Reacts In Babymetal’s first two albums there are actually 4 Su solo songs and 4 Black Babymetal songs. Black Babymetal is when Yui and Moa would perform without Su while she took a short break. They’re a lot of fun and hope you get a chance to check them out eventually!
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This song has been performed only 3 times to date. Only a limited number of fans who were at Hollywood Palladium on June 16, 2017 had been privileged to experience this song for 4 years. On February 16, 2021, when the intro started, everyone at Budokan (including me) was firstly shocked and gradually god excited understanding what was going to happen. At the end of the song, however, everyone got confused with what he / she witnessed because it was too surprising and mesmerizing. On the following day (Feb.17), the audiences came to the venue expecting the setlist would remain the same and FDTD would be played again. Once this song started, many of them (including me) just stared at the stage without moving as if they were trying to burn the performance into their retinas. Su-Metal did it perfectly. "In the end !" Ethereal voice. And Moa and Momoko did perfect choreo like angels smoothly dancing around the goddess. Oh! I actually saw and listened to it twice for sure, but still "was it real?" (Even after viewed it in Blu-ray video)
@@Abigirl_Reacts I do not know the reason why. Some possible explanation is mentioned in Grington300's comment, as you know. BM's music range is very broad. But, to me, FDTD sounds a kind of experimental one being far beyond BM's taste that we expect.
Great song - and a very rare performance. It was on the international release of the second album in 2016 (the Japanese release had 'Syncopation' - another great song - instead). It had only ever been played live once before this - at the Hollywood Palladium in 2017. The video for that performance was never released because of some sort of copyright issue, so we only had fancam videos to watch or to prove it had ever happened at all. When a fan vote was being taken to get the 10 most popular songs for the 10th anniversary "best of" album a fan campaign had 'From Dusk Till Dawn' voted in. In the end it didn't make it onto the album, but we did finally get the two new live performances and the pro-shot video we had been craving when they played it at two of the 10 Budokan 2021 concerts. You wanted something different to 'Headbanger' - I'd say you got that. Unlike a lot of their songs, 'From Dusk Till Dawn' isn't a song that is designed for you to dance along. This one is all about the atmosphere it creates.
@@Abigirl_Reacts I'm not sure. I guess it may have had something to do with whatever the copyright dispute was (I think it was with a film company?), but it is only a guess.
@@Abigirl_Reacts It doesn't really suit a band with two guitarists, a bass player and a drummer to perform an electronic track 'live'. It would also be a giant energy void in an otherwise high intensity live set. Personally, I don't think the 'fan campaign' had much influence on this being included in the these shows. They were performed in front of a limited audience that had to sit in their seats and stay silent (as per Japan's rules during this phase of the pandemic), so it just happened to be a good opportunity to get a live version pro-shot while providing fan service. The crowd noise was added from other shows. At this point in time the Japanese and international exclusive tracks were mostly being kept for their target audiences alone, although they did include Syncopation in a one-off London show in 2019, so giving Japanese fans FDtD evened the score. There is still one other Japan exclusive track that hasn't been performed anywhere: ↑↓←→BBAB. As the title suggests, it's very electronic and would also be challenging for a rock band to reproduce live.
2021 Momo was still an Avenger. She was announced as an official member at the PIA Arena 2023 show at the end of the first night (Black Night), and the first show as an official member was on the second night (Clear Night).
Nice reaction Abi!💖 My favorite song "From Dusk Till Dawn". The first time I heard it, I had goosebumps all over my body, I was so impressed and amazed by SU's vocal skills!😍🦊
Great reaction as always! This is such a beautiful song. Portraying the descent into the madness of midnight, before the sudden ascension into the warm sunlight of dawn. Reflected instrumentally, with the lighting, and Su’s angelic vocals. Also, speaking of Skrillex, look up Babymetal and Skrillex doing Gimme Chocolate together live! And you are correct on Momo still being an Avenger! Next suggeation: *YAVA! (Legend MM),* with the Kami Band intro. A song literally about “being different” and not knowing how to accept it. A fun jab at the early Babymetal haters 😂. 🤘🦊
Nice one, thanks! Your mic sounds perfectly, btw. "FDTD" is considered a rarity for many reasons: style, vocals, language, song's release and live history, etc. Regarding the musical style, this is a rare mix of dream trance with metal. Vocally, the song starts with some of Su-metal's falsetto (not the first time we hear her doing it) and it's crazy... But it's even more impressive when she sings those crazy notes in her head voice with full power. Lyrics are fully in English (which is still a rarity now) and they only released it on the international version of the Metal Resistance album but not on the domestic (Japanese) version which includes "Syncopation" instead. The song premiered live in 2017 at Hollywood Palladium but they got some issues with the live footage (apparently regarding copyright, which is kinda ironic) and it wasn't performed again until 2021at the Budokan, where is this footage from. The Nippon Budokan stadium is one of the most exclusive venues in Japan. Most artists consider performing there a life goal. 🤘🦊
A hidden gem in a hidden haystack of a song. Su was singing in falsetto or head voice that's why it's higher and sounds different. No FX there. And you're thinking of Dubstep genre. Which Babymetal has used quite a few in earlier songs. Funny you mention Skrillex, Babymetal has made a cameo appearance at one of Skrillex shows in Japan in the past. Next, I would suggest: Babymetal - "iine" Live at PIA Arena 2023. (Often mistaken as "Line". It's their 2nd ever song release) Anyway, keep diving into the Foxhole! 🦊🦊🦊
@@Abigirl_Reacts Yes. There's also harmonizing backtrack vocal which may be what makes it sound like an effect. I was surprised the 1st time I hear it too.

Great reaction! As you were told, this is different. For my hearing, she has an echo effect on it, but it is definetly her singing. Su-Metal is the Queen for several reasons 😉 The song wasn´t meant to be danced to, obviously. Yes, you´re getting into it, determining the different eras by hairstyle and costumes. One day you can tell the very concert at which a performance happened, just by looking at the stage. As you liked the stage so much, you could try another VERY different song... How about "In The Name Of" from the Budokan 2021 concert series? Some people call it "The burning cake". The stage is breathtaking, at least for people who have never seen the version performed at the "Legend S" concert 😄That one could be called "The Fox chariot". It is truly breathtaking (don´t even try to do a reaction to the "Legend S" version, it will be blocked, almost guaranteed. Or you have to put a really big, fat watermark on it, so we wouldn´t see much of the performance)
Oh I don't doubt she's actually singing into the mic, I just heard something different at 3:08 and I didn't think it was simply falsetto. Added in the name of, ty!
💕 ⚡ 🍑 / 🌅 I was at the Hollywood Palladium for the world premiere of this song back in 2017. More importantly, also in the audience that night were Su's Mom and Dad. Would have loved to see one of the two Budokan 2021 performances. They took it to a new level. Even though they had a full camera crew, apparently there were rights issues that prevented the pro-shot footage from the Palladium concert from being released. Fortunately we now have pro footage from the 2021 Budokan concerts, even if it's only included on the most expensive, "THE ONE" fanclub only complete edition. 'From Dusk Till Dawn' was on the international edition of the second album, 'Metal Resistance'. The domestic (Japanese) edition had 'Syncopation' instead.
Su's incredible voice, Moa's effective voice, and the beautiful arpeggio at the end all maximize the meditative nature of this song. Along with Shine, this is my absolute favorite song.
Good reaction! i love that you pay attention to the girls hairstyles. i really like next Yava! with kami intro, because the official one don´t have the intro and the Kami band is amazing! or can be Mirror Mirror or a special performance like NO RAIN NO RAINBOW LEGEND S BAPTISM XX, is Sumetal 20th birthday and is a especial version of the song with orquesta
Another way to tell if the concert was before or after Momo became a full member is... Is Momo wearing a microphone or not. If she is wearing a microphone then it is after she became a full member.
This song was during the Avenger era and the version I have seems to depict the story behind this song and totally makes sense to me. I think it was at a time when they were about to give up. The words spoken by Moa, the verses, the chorus...... The video I have shows compilations of Yui to start with....then shows just Su and Moa which is the part that really tugs the heart strings because just the 2 meet with their kitsune at center stage, then compilations of Momo and the smiles she brings to the band.....and ends showing just Su and Moa with their Kitsune once again......with Momo adding hers a few seconds after and I'm sure you can see the tears starting up in Su's eyes at that moment. This song always gets my feelers going.....💜❤
The song was released on the Metal Resistance album (2016) and was performed with Su, Moa and Yui at the Hollywood Palladium in 2017. They brought it back for two performances at Budokan in 2021 since it did so well in the fan polls that decided the songs on the 10 BABYMETAL YEARS album.
@@rickwagner- sweet. I'm going to have to find it...hopefully. If there's one I haven't seen yet it would be the older version of this song but ..I did mean this video was taken during the avenger era. But thanks...given me something I really didn't know being I've never seen it performed at any other time. 🤘 UA-cam really does need update their hand signs 😁
Nice reaction. Su showing just how much of a dynamic vocalist she is on this song. When you listen to more of their songs you find that their a very dynamic group. With tons of potential to do more especially now that Momo has joined them. They somehow while on tour find the time to make collaborations with various artist from around the world. Thank you, internet. Which makes me wonder are they recording their next studio album as well. Babymetal has always done things differently and releasing a whole album worth of songs as singles would qualify as different yet again. This song is a master work of performance art. They had that audience mesmerized. The video stage floor is really cool. It's also something that only the cameras and folks in the balconies can see. Giving the audience up there a little something extra that the folks down on the floor usually can't see. Babymetal thinks about their fans a lot during their big shows and how to do something for the fans in the back. Going as far as doing performance on top of the stage rigging so the folks in the nosebleed sections can get to see them better. These ladies have nerves of steel while on that stage. Or flying above it. Enjoy the journey through the foxhole and into the Babymetal galaxy of music.
suzuka or su-metal who has the face of a demon and the voice of an angel, for further recommendations please try watching the opening of the show + in the name (legend baptism x) during su-metal's birthday celebration in hiroshima and performing for the first time without yui-metal, you will feel the sensation of watching a concert + watching a movie😊❤
"Brand New Day" with guests Polyphia is what you want for a similar vibe, but with more rhythm, intricate and sublime choreography, plus excellent musicianship.
@@Abigirl_Reacts Your ears are correct, there is something there, but I believe it's a backing track she's singing over that is providing more of the highly processed vocal timbre from the studio version. If you listen to the album track, the singing in the verse there is barely even recognizable as a human voice, and so Su doing the falsetto voice (singing in an octave above your actual range, just like Kevin does in the Ratatata intro) live is already a big change. I will be honest: it must be incredibly difficult to hit those pitches, let alone live, so I wouldn't rule it out that she was either lip-syncing that part, or it might be at least pitch-corrected in post-production. But all the props to Su-metal if they've done neither of those (I want to believe that, however you have to acknowledge there are limits to what even the best singer can do reliably live).
I actually don't doubt she was hitting those notes, I'm sure she was in her falsetto! But was just curious what was making her sound like an angelic robot at that part. Someone mentioned something about a limiter filter on the mic? Plus the reverb obviously but other than that, I'm not sure.
@@Abigirl_Reacts Falsetto is just a vocal technique, you still have to hit those notes, I'm sure. I'm not a vocal coach, though, so don't take my word for it.
Damn! you upgraded the hell out of your stream audio XD and as always, great reaction :) I believe she's using a limiter filter and reverb. So she's hitting all those notes, it's just ending the highs abruptly and adding some sustain to the tail. Always a pleasure to see an upload from you :) Edit: Oh! if you want to see another performance where they perform on a video platform, Pa Pa Ya is an amazing performance. The pre-Momo version with F. Hero is awesome. (Pa Pa Ya is pretty recent too)
Su is just the best! I'm in love ❤😍😂 Great reaction as always! Not your favorite song, but honestly might be my favorite from Babymetal! Definitely up there for me at least! Mic is sounding so great! Love that we can help support upgrading your equipment ^^
BABYMETAL is a pretty high energy band. They're all about the chaos and fun, but NOT always. They have a few songs that are a bit somber and even sad. You never know what you'll get but anytime you check out one of their songs you have to be prepared for the unexpected. I personally enjoy their slower songs as much as the high energy ones, but they do elicit different feelings (like loneliness, hope in despair, etc)
From a singing standpoint, I think you'll enjoy any of these two: Metalizm live at Pia Arena 2023 and Shanti Shanti Shanti live at Legend MM 2024. Su uses a very different singing technique in those.
great reaction Abi-Metal, I didn't see the "Trilogy of Light" in your playlist, so I highly recommend it, it starts with "Starlight" , then "Shine" followed by "Arkadia" , a brilliant display of their "Hell Year" 2018 , started with tragedy, followed by healing and concluded with looking towards the future, there has only been a two times that it was recorded all together and that is from the Legend Metal Galaxy shows, although they have played "Starlight" and Arkadia" recently, they haven't played "Shine" since 2019, but technically the "Legend M version of "Shine" is the best freaking performance ever with a very special display of friendship and partnership and commitment, with just Moa and Su, for Moa's 20th birthday, absolutely beautiful.
Skrillex does dubstep. Momoko is not an official member in the video. You could argue that she isn't exactly an Avenger either, since Kano and Riho were off doing other things at this point, so there wasn't a team anymore. Momoko was the sole support dancer from February 2020 to March of 2023. This 2021 performance was during the Covid era, so the Budokan could only be half full because of the need for staggered seating. This was the first Japanese performance of this song, which was exclusive to the international version of Metal Resistance. It was previously performed in the LA Palladium in 2017. While that show was recorded, it's likely that it was meant to be used in their live/animated TV show, which never happened, so the footage probably belongs to Warner Brothers. As someone else already mentioned, when this song won a fan vote to be included as one of 10 songs on their video compilation disc, Babymetal must have felt compelled to perform this song again. From Dusk Till Dawn is one of their few songs to be performed in English. The problem is that lyrics weren't provided and fans have been going crazy trying to figure what exactly is being sung. Someone mentioned that this is a Su solo song but that isn't true. The studio version does have Yui and Moa doing some singing and are doing the spoken word part. You can hear Moa's vocals in this performance but chances are they were prerecorded.
The style Skrillex is known for is commonly referred to as dubstep. More dubstep in a Babymetal song can be heard in the song "Uki Uki Midnight" from the first album. There is a live at Budokan version of that one, too, and an official music video as well, which is cheaply made but funny. ;-)
My guess is the effect is mostly echo. You were right about the pigtails. There are no official lyrics of this song and fans have been trying for years before this performance to come up with it (from the album and 'fan cam' audio of the 1 performance in 2017), but after this recording we finally got a good approximation of the lyrics.
FDTD is one of the deepest cuts from their from Babymetal's catalogue. It only featured on the international version of Metal Resistance in place of Syncopation, which Koba thought was "too Japanese" for the international audience; it's also one of only four Babymetal songs sung entirely in English. Because it's a pretty obscure song, it's only been performed live on three occasions, once in 2017 at the Hollywood Palladium, and twice during 10 Babymetal Budokan in 2021, which this performance is taken from. The stage setups they use at Budokan are always interesting because the venue is set up for performance in the round, so the stages always have interesting designs. The video dance floor that features so prominently in this performances has been used quite often for their big shows in Japan over the last few years, so it's not unique to this show. If you like the dubstep elements in this one that reminded you of Skrillex, you should check out "Uki Uki ★ Midnight" as it is heavily dubstep influenced. It's one of their early songs that originally released before the first album, so it's got the cuteness of the early years about it, and it's the mirror to "Doki Doki ☆ Morning". Incidentally, Babymetal once performed with Skrillex at a live event in Japan - ua-cam.com/video/eQp9Z-2IrCo/v-deo.html
Check out the fancy new microphone upgrade, Nice addition to the audio quality! Well done reaction, you can tell that you are a big fan of their music since you know subtle details of the band like the meanings behind their hair styles. I don't see myself going out of my way to listen to more of this artist, but the singer has a VERY impressive vocal range and I appreciate you introducing me to them through your unique perspective. As always, I enjoyed your animated reaction and I look forward to the next video!
Hi Abs, great reaction as usual. People are going to yell at me for this, but the genre you might have been looking for with your comments about Skrillex might be Dubstep. I know he was more (sorry, not an intentional pun on his name, it just happened) than dubstep, but it's what I remember most. Personally, I love this song and, depending on the day, sits at either my second favourite Babymetal song or third favourite. There are more important songs for the band, for sure, but I just vibe with this one. I always felt that Koba was playing games with this song. It was a limited release on the "Japanese" version of Babymetal's second studio album, Metal Resistance, but not on the "international" release of the same album. Further, the song is completely in English on a Japanese release only album, and then to really f*ck with the minds of everyone, this is, to my knowledge, the only Babymetal song without any official lyrics. I mean, why in the name of the Fox God, would you release a song in Japan only, that is in indecipherable English without making any official lyrics available to help those poor Japanese fans who could not make head nor tail of the song. To be honest, I think it was brilliant marketing; in private and darkened corners of the Internet, kitsunes still sit and discuss these thoughts in hushed and harried tones. Very clever, Koba-metal. Abs, I love your new mic. What camera are you looking to upgrade to? Do you have a Buy Me a Coffee account? I would be happy to chip in a coffee or two to help with the camera.
Dubstep! That's what I was trying to remember! Haha thanks for the well thought out comment Len! I'm not sure which camera to get. I think I'm going to ask other YTers what they use and go from there. Thanks for donating, I truly appreciate your help! Buymeacoffee.com/abigirlreacts
Su-metall has a five octave vocal range you also mentioned Skrillex who Babymetal performed Gimme Chocolate with in 2015 at Ultra Japan 2015 an EDM festival held in Tokyo check out the videos here on UA-cam from the performance
To answer your question whether the volume is too loud: you can never play BABYMETAL too loud. Su doesn't need effects on her mike. They actually did a little collab with Skrillex, look up images and videos. It was kind of disappointing though. The genre is called dubstep.
Yup, this song is on my top 5 BM songs list. It was only from this concert that we finally got to the know the lyrics...Before this, everyone was wondering if it was "In the Air" or "In the End" 😅😅😅, because Su's english wasn't that great when they first sang this. If you think this stage was amazing, you should checkout "In The Name Of" from Legend S Baptism XX. I think only the multi story stage from Tokyo Dome can top what they had at Legend S. 😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘
Well the problem of this song is simply that they play it only few times. Obviously they have problems to really perform it live. It is probably a bit high for Su combined with the other songs in a Concert.
Great reaction, thanks! Looking forward to more BABYMETAL \m/🦊\m/ Since you've been branching out into a few other bands I'll remind you that since you seem to enjoy it when Momo growls.. then if you want a bit more of those moments.. then give Hanabie (Japanese so keep the 'e' on the end for hannah-bee-eh (花冷え)) a go too - their song "We Love Sweets" is a good opener G18yyvPCiTM Cheers! :)
Great song, thanks for reaction to it, Abi-Metal! Another great one (probably my personal favorite) is another Su-Metal solo song - "AMORE". For me, the Wembley 2016 version is the best...here is a link with a watermark, so it may workout - ua-cam.com/video/35lj_XEjqYU/v-deo.html. I know you are looking for more current songs for the moment...but keep this one handy!
Nice reaction, i really really love this Song. Funny, you mentioned Skrillex and the first thing that came to my head was Skrillex x Babymetal: ua-cam.com/video/q7RNIz3ItTk/v-deo.html
Nice reaction! I really like this song. I think it's time to dive into the Yui era. In addition to the suggestions I gave earlier, I recommend Tales of the Destinies at Tokyo Dome.
You got it right. You're learning :) Momo was still an avenger at this stage. You were able to tell by the hair-style like I taught you :) Momo is an official member when the girls all start wearing that weird, futuristic translucent outfit that goes different colours based on the lighting that shines on it. That was the new era and as such new outfit. Also, I'd agree this song isn't really a dancing song. It is one of my favorite songs because of how .... mesmerizing Su's voice is in this song and that Moa gets to sing a lot more in this song than usual as well. I also really like the part where Moa sings and Su sings really high notes over top of Moa's voice. They compliment each other very well there and I love it. Dub-step is the style of music I think you were looking for. Can't stand that type of music personally, and while I don't HATE it in this song, to me this is "weakest" part of the song. But that's just a personal thing and I don't take it personally or anything. People like that stuff and thats great for them. Just another genre of music being mixed into their catalogue which in the long run is good for Babymetal on the whole. As for next song, I kind of get the feeling the next one you should check out is The One Stairway to living legend. It's a bit ... different and I'd almost say awkward in some ways for Su I would think because this was during the covid era and when they recorded this it was in an empty arena/stadium, so that is almost eerie, but at the same time, the visuals are next level and the song/performance is amazing. This was I think their last song before they went on their 2 year hiatus. It was also their way of saying good-bye to the fans, and to close out the era of Babymetal that they were creating lore over. So the song is actually pretty significant from a lore standpoint and for Babymetal fans because a lot of fans thought that that was it. Babymetal was no more and they were finished. I KNEW they were coming back though because you'll KNOW when they are finished just by watching for Moa's reaction. When Babymetal ends, you'll see Moa balling her face off. She's a very emotional lady who wears her emotions on her sleeve as you'll eventually see when you react to Su's graduation ceremony. You also see it in some live performances when Moa is awestruck by the fans love of Babymetal once or twice. She tears up a bit and has to wipe the tears away lol. So Moa will be the ticket.
@@Abigirl_Reacts She is. She's captured the hearts of a lot of Babymetal fans I think lol Looking forward to when you do Su's graduation speech and Moa's reply. You'll probably tear up because a) it's so adorable and b) it's sad but super cute still.
Nice reaction Abi What about reacting to the new Linkin Park song called “Emptiness machine”? You’ll love it, in case you didn’t know it’s a bit of sad story about that band, they’re coming back after 7 years of hiatus due to the lose of their main vocalist, a sad story that you could surely get in comments later in case you do that song 🔥 9:44 this moment almost breaks my ears 💥 talking about Babymetal and based on you having no options picked yet, I recommend you to write down the songs you see more often requested on your comments so you can pick for example 3 and you tell us which ones you picked for your list and we can vote, in this case that your list is empty what if you put in queue “Ijime, Dame, Zettai” it’s an old song from them that was released in 2014(in Yui era) but they performed it in PIA arena in 2023 Clear Night(with Momometal), and speaking of Yui again I think I like the way you are going down the Fox Hole, you can be watching the most of songs performed with Momometal so more in the future when you decide to go back in time you’ll appreciate more Yui as we all do and you’ll see why when that day takes place 🤘 I think one way to don’t get confused with the times I could say after Momo gets officially selected as permanent member you should call her Momometal, and “before that” just MomoAvenger, so you’ll know when was the time of the perform you could be actually watching. I really like the way you manage your channel, it’s very kind that you take your time to answer the most of the comments, the fact that you interact with us your followers is what make us comeback and support you every time 🤘
i think she covers that in a more general way towards the end of the video .... says she wants to do some more recent stuff before she dives full in to the classics
i knew that music part was familiar -Skrillex deffo! how high was that! yeah, strangely a Babymetal song that is a listen to one rather than see & listen?
One of my favorite Babymetal performances ever was at this concert series at the Budokan. “Akatsuki” live 2021 is absolutely insane, it’s a solo performance by Su and she absolutely kills it
yeah!! me too! she sounds amazing, and look so pretty, i love that performance in 2021
Aw it'd be so weird seeing her all alone! But interesting

Nice comment! &"FDTD" is a beautiful song!🤘😭💕

I wonder why this one was so rare to perform live?
I love that they added momo permanently ^_^
👍👍An awesome performance. Su's vocals are breathtaking. 🤗 🦊 🖖❤
They really are!
Nice reaction Abi!💖
My favorite song "From Dusk Till Dawn".
The first time I heard it, I had goosebumps all over my body, I was so impressed and amazed by SU's vocal skills!😍🦊
Her range is crazy high, wow!
Whe you see Su don't move a lot while singing, it means that song is difficult.
Very true!
🤘🦊
Nice, Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
@@Abigirl_Reacts no lol don't it was one of those performances that the fans choose to forget
🤘🦊
I bet, it's such a cool stage!
Next, I would suggest:
Babymetal - "iine" Live at PIA Arena 2023. (Often mistaken as "Line". It's their 2nd ever song release)
Anyway, keep diving into the Foxhole! 🦊🦊🦊
3:08 is falsetto, no mic effect?

Absolutely awesome. BABYMETAL are great. Su is incredible.
She is!
💕 ⚡ 🍑 / 🌅
I was at the Hollywood Palladium for the world premiere of this song back in 2017.
Well said!
I will check it out, ty!
I can see why!
@@rickwagner- sweet. I'm going to have to find it...hopefully.
If there's one I haven't seen yet it would be the older version of this song but ..I did mean this video was taken during the avenger era.
But thanks...given me something I really didn't know being I've never seen it performed at any other time.

The performance was amazing! So glad I got to watch this
It's always impressive to hear Su's falsetto voice.
It's really high up there!
suzuka or su-metal who has the face of a demon and the voice of an angel, for further recommendations please try watching the opening of the show + in the name (legend baptism x) during su-metal's birthday celebration in hiroshima and performing for the first time without yui-metal,

This is one of the reasons we call her Queen SU.
Awesome!
Hi from Ireland, is one of my favourites, arkadia also has cool video stage, definitely amore Wembley though 😊
The stage was so cool wasnt it?!
@@Abigirl_Reacts absolutely, arkadia is also similar but different shape real cool
"Brand New Day" with guests Polyphia is what you want for a similar vibe, but with more rhythm, intricate and sublime choreography, plus excellent musicianship.
That's funny, I was just thinking about doing that one ^_^
@@Abigirl_Reacts You and I will both love it when you do!
It is not audio processing, it is SU-METAL's falsetto.
It is a very difficult song, so I have only sung it twice so far in live performances.
Hmm I was specifically referring to say... 3:08 there's no effect there?
@@shma1israel I hope she didnt take your word for it, there is 100% effects on the sound of her voice in the beginning
Damn! you upgraded the hell out of your stream audio XD and as always, great reaction :)
I believe she's using a limiter filter and reverb. So she's hitting all those notes, it's just ending the highs abruptly and adding some sustain to the tail. Always a pleasure to see an upload from you :)
Edit: Oh! if you want to see another performance where they perform on a video platform, Pa Pa Ya is an amazing performance. The pre-Momo version with F. Hero is awesome. (Pa Pa Ya is pretty recent too)
Ohh so you think it's a limiter filter in hearing at 3:08?
Moa's little solo in the middle is such a treat :)
So sweet

I think it is time... The Warning has been dropping clips from their concert in Mexico City. They are something rather special.
Also if you want a very emotional Su performance, check out “Akatsuki - the unfinished version” .. piano ballad .. it’s powerful

Added, thanks so much for the suggestions!
great reaction Abi-Metal, I didn't see the "Trilogy of Light" in your playlist, so I highly recommend it, it starts with "Starlight" , then "Shine" followed by "Arkadia" , a brilliant display of their "Hell Year" 2018 , started with tragedy, followed by healing and concluded with looking towards the future, there has only been a two times that it was recorded all together and that is from the Legend Metal Galaxy shows, although they have played "Starlight" and Arkadia" recently, they haven't played "Shine" since 2019, but technically the "Legend M version of "Shine" is the best freaking performance ever with a very special display of friendship and partnership and commitment, with just Moa and Su, for Moa's 20th birthday, absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for the suggestions! ^_^
Review YAVA or KAGEROU from legend MM 2024, I love this band and these performances rock with their choreography and SU smashes it as usual
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
I'm glad there were lyrics for this one!
Great reaction - and the mic sounds totally fine. 🙂
Yay, thank you!
Maybe you have explained this before, but I'm curious how you found BM and what made you decide to do reactions? 😊
I remember it was because my favorite singer made a statement about how fun ratatata was. I discovered BM through Falling in Reverse!
In our area we call it night.😁
Call what night? Oh, dusk?
There is a song they performed a one off cover called tsubasa wo kudasai, where all three of them sing in their falsetto voices, it is very high
Neato! Falsetto can be so pretty
The style Skrillex is known for is commonly referred to as dubstep. More dubstep in a Babymetal song can be heard in the song "Uki Uki Midnight" from the first album. There is a live at Budokan version of that one, too, and an official music video as well, which is cheaply made but funny. ;-)
Dubstep! That's what I was trying to remember haha
I heard 'in the end'
I love the round stage the most, it is great!
Thanks so much for watching ^_^

To answer your question whether the volume is too loud: you can never play BABYMETAL too loud.
Su doesn't need effects on her mike.
They actually did a little collab with Skrillex, look up images and videos. It was kind of disappointing though. The genre is called dubstep.
Dubstep, that's it!
Yup, this song is on my top 5 BM songs list. It was only from this concert that we finally got to the know the lyrics...Before this, everyone was wondering if it was "In the Air" or "In the End" 😅😅😅, because Su's english wasn't that great when they first sang this.
Moa is so sweet!
@@Abigirl_Reacts She is. She's captured the hearts of a lot of Babymetal fans I think lol Looking forward to when you do Su's graduation speech and Moa's reply. You'll probably tear up because a) it's so adorable and b) it's sad but super cute still.
Nice reaction Abi
What about reacting to the new Linkin Park song called “Emptiness machine”? You’ll love it, in case you didn’t know it’s a bit of sad story about that band, they’re coming back after 7 years of hiatus due to the lose of their main vocalist, a sad story that you could surely get in comments later in case you do that song 🔥
9:44 this moment almost breaks my ears 💥 talking about Babymetal and based on you having no options picked yet, I recommend you to write down the songs you see more often requested on your comments so you can pick for example 3 and you tell us which ones you picked for your list and we can vote, in this case that your list is empty what if you put in queue “Ijime, Dame, Zettai” it’s an old song from them that was released in 2014(in Yui era) but they performed it in PIA arena in 2023 Clear Night(with Momometal), and speaking of Yui again I think I like the way you are going down the Fox Hole, you can be watching the most of songs performed with Momometal so more in the future when you decide to go back in time you’ll appreciate more Yui as we all do and you’ll see why when that day takes place 🤘
I think one way to don’t get confused with the times I could say after Momo gets officially selected as permanent member you should call her Momometal, and “before that” just MomoAvenger, so you’ll know when was the time of the perform you could be actually watching.
